TREASURE HUNTMarina Cafferty was determined to salvage her grandfather's ship. Giddeon Duval's Espiritu Estelle had carried enough gold to pay the taxes on the family's Texas ranch for years to come, and it wasn't doing anyone any good at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. Nothing was going to stand in her way -- certainly not some arrogant archaeologist obsessed with claiming the cargo for Mexico! Then she looked into Rafe Santana's merciless dark eyes and knew she'd met a man whose will was as strong as her own. Even worse than that was the shocking urge she felt to put everything -- including herself! -- in his masterful hands.PLEASURE QUESTRafe Santana was not about to let national treasures fall into the grasp of a scheming American, even one as beautiful as the emerald-eyed Marina. The stubborn Texas vixen was the only one who knew the ship's location, though, so she'd need careful handling. He'd let her lead the way, then he'd take over ... in more ways than one. For he'd had enough of her defiant glances and taunting words. It was time he sampled her treacherous lips, explored her creamy flesh, and unearthed a passion more priceless than TEXAS GOLD.

Vivian Vaughan is the granddaughter of Texas ranchers and Texas Rangers. She grew up on the western edge of the Edwards Plateau, where there has always been a scarcity of water and grass – and an abundance of self-reliance, a place where people don’t take themselves too seriously and laughter comes naturally. Vaughan’s books reflect her love of the land, the people and their stories. Vivian lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband of fifty-four years, a retired NASA engineer. Their two sons, two lovely daughters-in-law (one from England; the other Mexico) and five of their 6 grandchildren live nearby.

My, my... what a great final book to The Texas Star Trilogy!
I loved the entire set up of this book! Everything was perfect! It was a little bit over the top with so much love, but I liked it. It made it feel like a fairy tale.

Having Serita and Giddeon (main character's from Texas Gamble, and Marina's grandparents) in this book teaching their grand daughter about love, was absolute genius. I loved seeing how involved they were in Marina's life. I do wish that Stella and Logan (main characters from Texas Dawn and Marina's parents) were in this book as well, but I guess I could live with them only being mentioned.

The amount of history in this novel was an overload of information. There wasn't too much, but I was so overwhelmed, I couldn't take it all in, so I am probably going to reread this book again just to understand it all a bit better. It did make me feel so grateful that I live in this day and age, not in the Aztec era when they sacrificed people in disturbing ways for very stupid reasons.

A very satisfying historical romance read that I definitely would recommend.
