The enjoyable illustrations wonderfully portray the well-known song in this book. A cowgirl - riding a stagecoach pulled by strong horses - brings a feast to the townsfolk. The last page of this book is sheet music so that the story can be read or sung.

Everyone knows the classic song, but the thing that stood out to me in this book was the artwork. Every verse has a few pictures, each with building excitement at her "coming around the mountain."
