One of my all-time favorite smutty novellas. This one has it all: a hot dominant manly man, a feisty heroine, loads of D/s flavored sex, a touch of paranormal, an imaginative setting, even some good action and adventure. All in less than 100 pages. Big thanks to Holly for recommending this one to me.
Hawke is gruff and tough but he's also very protective of his surprise gift - the heroine. I loved this man! He pounces on Alex pretty much from the start but she's game and hey, he did save her life. Alex is intelligent, brave and submissive only in bed. They are a hot, kinky pair and their antics sent me in search of a cold drink or a fan or something more than once.
The dialogue and writing are good. There is some good action that had me running scared and frankly freaked me out at one point. The love story is surprisingly convincing for such a short work, and you can tell Hawke and Alex really belong together. When he comes for her at the end ... awwwww.
Content: oral, anal, spanking. In other words, all the good stuff y'all know I like :-)

Whilst I wasn't loving the sci-fi survivor theme of this story I actually really enjoyed it!
I loved both characters and I loved how they were both exactly what the other needed, and of course the ending is properly swoonworthy.

It was a quick read thats for sure an interesting story also; humans of the future created some sort of survivor game and Hawke has been stuck in it for almost a year (he was abducted in 2002) and has been all by himself until one day Alex is dropped into his lap. Alex is disoriented one minute she is in her room tending to herself then she is being dropped into an ocean in the middle of nowhere that Hawke calls the fishbowl, he's convinced they have been abducted by aliens especially because he has been killing many different kinds of creatures for a whole year. Hawke is very excited to finally have some company after being solo and is especially happy that it is a woman and he learns that she is from 2004 and so he is even more confussed. After being alone for a month they are attacked by this creature and Hawke is convinced he is going to die he tells Alex to run because he can't stand the idea of her dying and she won't listen because she has fallen in love with him, they both live and Hawke "punishes" Alex for not listening. The next day they are just lying their and she starts paying attention to the bees and notices something is off about them and then they are visited by someone from the future (creater of the game) yeah they aren't to pleased so they go after him and are sent back to the time and place they were taken from and Hawke has to wait 2 years before he is able to meet up with Alex and continue from where they left off.

I have to say this was a short story, but boy did it pack quite a punch and scorched the pages! Whew, boy was it Hot! If you don't mind some kink it will definitely leave you hot.
Alex has always been the good, respectful girl with a respectful job as a lawyer and comes from a respectful family but something is missing. She wants a man who will fulfill her by dominating her in the bedroom.
As she lays in bed one night a flash of light appears and the next thing she knows, she is being dropped in the water and being rescued by a gorgeous man who is wearing a loincloth like Tarzan.
Hawke has survived alone in this strange place that seems more like a giant fishbowl then an island for almost a year until out of the sky falls a beautiful woman and he can't himself going into Dom mode.
As the two try to survive the onslaught of monsters that constantly attack them Alex can't help not being attracted to Hawke who is very controlling in ways she wants even at times when she defies him.
Hawke is a Marine who is constantly thrown into situations where he needs to take control and demands orders to be followed and he expects Alex to follow all of his demands or face the punishments (and oh what delicious punishment she gives out).
I have to say I really liked this book because I loved how the characters seemed to be perfect for each other even if they did not know it themselves at first and for the surprising storyline at the end.

FYI This e-book is different than the description listed on Goodreads. But it's under the same title and although the characters have changed, the situation is the same.
Well if rape anal sex is your cup of tea, this is the short story for you. I would think after being stranded for two years Cade might be happy to see Grace when she drops through a hole that periodically ends up at Earth. He was her commander when he disappeared. I guess he is happy, but not in the "let me kiss you because I've always been attracted to you" way. He says they will have sex and they will have anal sex because she can't get pregnant. And if she fights him about it, that will only make it sweeter. Oh, and by the way, even when we're not role playing, I want to be called "Master". Very extreme.

Stranded by Angela Knight
Ms. Knight is wonderful author and I’ve not read a story by her that I have not liked and this book is no different.
A little fantasy rolls through Alexandria’s mind as she lies alone in bed at night, of being dominated by a man. Her fantasy man calls the shots and is all He-Man/Alpha with her. Her fantasy man is someone who she can’t intimidate and is not intimidated by her blue-blood background. As the saying goes…be careful what you wish for!

Suddenly a flash of light and Alex joins Hawke in the ‘Gold Fish Bowl’ world that he has inhabited for a long and lonely while, living by his wits and strength. This world has dangers and delights and I enjoyed reading about all of them. What a nice twist at the end.

the only bad thing i have to say about this short story is that it's too short
i loved every page
its just so graphic!!!
the sex is amazing although the end sex scene seemed rushed there was so little foreplay......
there was probrally a page limit

This is one of my favorite stories. I've read it many times and it still gives me a squishy. The characters are interesting and the world is well crafted enough to pull the reader in and cheer them on.

Now this was a tasty fun story. It's reality TV in the Truman Show style. This is actually quite a fun fantasy, thrown in with a hot man to have sex with, under the sun. It's an exhibitionist's fantasy come true. This fast and smexy story is one to read and enjoy.

I have the older version with Cade and Grace and I love this book. I have read it, read it again, bookmarked my favorite parts, and the bookmarked parts have been reread numerous times. This book just does it for me. I really love Knight's non-Mageverse stories and haven't been disappointed yet.

Hmm, what I read is different from the 'Goodreads' blurb... pretty smutty short book. I still think it would have been nice to read as something longer with more complex dialogues.

The plot is the heroine is kidnapped by aliens and thrown onto a deserted alien island. The only other person there is a human soldier who had the same thing happen a few months ago. The aliens have cameras watching them all the time.
There are predators that attack them and they have to hunt food, find water, make clothing, etc. They are both very attracted to each other and he enjoys dominance games. He'll tell her to kneel or dirty talk to her or tie her up sometimes. She likes these games too.
The book has very graphic and steamy love scenes.

We find out at the end of the book that it was a reality tv show that aliens watch. They are both given a lot of money and returned to the exact time they were kidnapped, after the show is over.
