The book can be summed up as: insulin resistance is bad. I have no problem with that, but it really didn't give me much else to work with. It didn't annotate its sources very well. It seems that we're just supposed to take their word for it since one of the authors is a doctor. This might be a good place to start your research about the correlation between diet, exercise and health, but isn't for advanced reading.
