This was not only very cute, but actually laugh-out-loud funny in parts.
I'm sure not even half of these tales are true, but if even those are, Abe Lincoln was an awesome, funny man.
Lincoln's assassination was always sort of just a historical thing, but now it really bothers me... like, on a personal level.

Very interesting. Get to picture President Lincoln as a leader, family man, kind, fair, assertive. He spoke his mind but many times he spoke with humor. He also seemed to like to teach through his stories. Some are hard to hear because of the language that was more acceptable in that period has always felt harsh to me. But the stories are very interesting and many seem to have a lesson and/or humor.
