Home remedies for health and wellness, apparently used by the Amish. Some of these I had heard of through other sources, many seem worth trying, a few I'm skeptical of and would rather let someone else try them first!
Of course, there are a few that I would not mess around with at all. I'm okay with trying these remedies for minor bothers like a sore throat or heat rash, but for serious medical needs like appendicitis or pneumonia, I seek medical treatment with a doctor.
All things considered, some of these seem like more bother than they are worth. Where do I find burdock and mullein leaves? I have no idea what they are or what they look like, and it just seems easier to check the medicine cabinet or head to the store for an easy, low-cost treatment.
An interesting read, but not one I take too seriously. The most useful remedies for me were in the section on household cleaning.
Tip: The more ailments you have, the more vinegar you'll need. Vinegar seems to be the wonder panacea that cures most of what ails you and is a frequent remedy mentioned for all sorts of issues.
