good variety of topics, including parenting, the material is not always personally, or temporally, applicable, but overall it's a useful and enlightening book. some chapters, like the one on protestantism in particular, felt like they could use more editing, but mostly there's just your typical collection qualifiers: there's some stuff I agree or disagree with more than others, but it's a solid book and worth checking out.
