Ah, what a satisfying slow-burn of a romance and a VERY satisfying ending that was!

Another one of my favourite Adachi series, but this time, about swimming. Keisuke Yamato is a talented freestyle swimmer who always seems to come third during his time in middle school, while Ami Ninomiya is an up-and-coming diver. However, they come from families that have had an intense rivalry since their grandfathers' days, and their initial interactions were anything but cordial.
But as time went on (as it inevitably does), they gradually grew closer, their obstacles fell away, and there's even a strong indication of how the love triangle (between Keisuke, Ami, and Keisuke's swimming rival who Ami considers more than a big brother) plays out in the end.
This being an Adachi manga, there were pops of pervy stuff (partly owed to the mangaka himself, but I think also strongly due to the manga's inclusion in a magazine that's known for being fairly fan-servicey), and his trademark remarks to the readers of what it's being like being a mangaka (although that tapered off somewhat, towards the latter end of the series).
In all? Another satisfying read (and decent night's sleep somewhat spoilt... ah well...).
