this was my first book in the books that im going to read before the spring break.... it was good because i could really connect to it... not in the im a teen, on a baseball team, doing drugs, while working a supermarket place, with a girlfriend that has a alcoholic dad, and at the same time a 20 something year old lady is hitting on me, kind of way, but in the i now a guy who went through most of the problems in the book, kind of way. what i would guess is the theme for this book is...if you have family and friends who want to help you let them because you will only end up worse. <--- that is my guess is and what i could figure out of this. i recomend this to anyone who just is bored out of there mind and wants to read something with suspense and A LOT of action and wired drama because i don't know if this is spoiler alert put... the dude does drugs... later on in the book he starts to do drugs. first, its when a girl give him a ride home, never mind this IS spoiler alert, so... the 20 something year old lady instead o driving him home... takes him to her place for a bite to eat. she starts to take out a bag out "white powder" (crack, coke, super weed, etc) and with a straw starts to snort it, the guy, Curt tries some, he later leaves. later on in the book he becomes so stressed out he quits the baseball team, starts to lose control of his life, and goes to party with the lady, Rachelle, there he does drugs pot&crack, he drinks alcohol and his friends get worried. so as you can see i just gave you about 1/3 of the the book, yes it is a short book, but it does teach you alot even with in the 87 pages, and of course the ending. although you can basically summeries what the guys is going to do, and whats going to happen to him, the ending is a little bad... scratch that... it completely sucks although i can give you the end... im too lazy, hehe, but still read it... especialy if your a parent and your smart, cause ur child/ children might be going throught the same thing.
