He later moved to Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, in wich he won the 7th "Story King" section in the same year.

Can we talk about the fact that Hiruma's main tactic is to trust his teamates and mix what they can do with some misdirection??? Mostly the trust part. Because I will never be over it.

Eyeshield 21: The Devil's Mistake continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next nine chapters (287–295) of the on-going manga series.
The tankōbon covers a great deal of the Christmas Bowl between the Deimon Devil Bats and the Teikoku Alexanders. The Alexanders totally dominated against the Devil Bats early in the game they scored a quick touchdown. With ten minutes left in the game, the Alexanders is five touchdowns ahead with a score of 0–35.
However, despite the great lead, the Devil Bats have not given up. In fact, their play has been so unexpected that for the Alexanders had to call a time-out for a first time. Secondly, When Taro "Monta" Raimon scored the first touchdown – it was the first touchdown scored against the team. Sena Kobayakawa doubles the score quickly added his touchdown and two-point conversion with a score of 16–35.
The Alexander returns the favor, by making another touchdown, but Monta interrupted their one-point conversion. While unable to catch the ball in mid-air, he managed to divert the trajectory of the ball enough for it not to count. The tankōbon closes with the score of 16–41 and about six minutes left in play.
This tankōbon is written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. For the most part, I really liked how the story is progressing. Despite the overwhelming pressure of playing against a near perfect team, the Devil Bats continues to fight and break the record of no one ever scoring against the Alexander. I am glad that Taka Honjo, the wide receiver of the Alexanders founds a suitable rival in Monta and I like that rivalry just as much as Sena Kobayakawa and Takeru Yamato.
All in all, Eyeshield 21: The Devil's Mistake is a wonderful continuation to a series that seems intriguing and I cannot wait to read more.

Sekarang di jilid ini kita bisa melihat juga perkembangan karakter Hiruma. yg sdh terikat mendalam dengan tim ini sehingga lebih mempercayai rekan2 ketimbang data dan fakta dalam menyusun strategi tim.

Monta decides this series is almost over and wants to end it on a high note, and Hiruma... has friends? What a nice dude. This is a shonen, having friends gives you massive plot power.
