A delightful, heart-warming book featuring children of mixed abilities busily working and playing at school. This book illustrates the true meaning of the word inclusion. It shows that given the opportunity, children readily accept each other's differences. Emphasizes in a relaxed, natural way that even though some children may look different and have different abilities, all children like to do the same things.

This is a great book that shows children that many other school interactions are the same as the interactions they experience in the classroom. Show children the diversity in the classroom and how to interact with other people in the room, providing them with a world of knowledge to play with other students. I enjoy how they capture each center in the classroom and give a good example of what to expect and the names of the students, too.

This book has real-life pictures that the children can look at and see things that are familiar to them in their own classroom. The book shows children that look different and that is wonderful, we may look different but we can all play together and have fun. The book also shows children with disabilities which is amazing to have the children again all play together and no one is singled out.

I love how this book has wonderful photos throughout showing what happens during a typical school day. The students pictured are very diverse in respect to age, gender, race, and disabilities. It is a great book for a class discussion about what it means to be a friend and using manners/following rules. I love this one!

Great SN (special needs) book. There aren't enough books for young children with photos and this one fits the bill. Real kids, real school. I enjoyed the mini bios for each child in the back.
