Not exactly an earth shattering intellectual read but then again when is celebrity gossip ever intellectual or for that matter earth shattering. This book is however quite humorous and had me laughing out loud quite a few times. I also found myself telling coworkers on lunch, “listen to this” which opened up endless funny conversations.

Now all that being said there are some extreme over shares in this book that I could have done without, I mean really who needs to know about certain celebrities diarrhoea mishaps (and why would you tell people especially in an interview) as well as what they chose to do with their placenta. Can you say “yuck”?

It will be no surprise to people that Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Demi Moor get frequent mentions, but there are a few others that pop up every once in a while. Some stars incidents we all know about as how could you avoid it when it’s all over entertainment tonight and the gossip mags in the grocery store line-ups, however there were some new ones in here for me too.

Definitely an entertaining read.
