So, I'll admit - this book had a personal effect on me because, like Rue, I think my nose is too big!! Of course, it's about much more than a big nose. This book tackles insecurity in a great and colorful way!

"Be true to yourself and love who you are!" is the message of this book. It teaches about self-acceptance and how sometimes our self-perception does not fit the reality. It's a challenging topic to take on for a kids book, but Andi Green does an amazing job yet again.

"Others have noses that fit them so snuggly, but I have this honker that makes me feel ugly."

I hear you Rue. As always, the WorryWoo Monsters are a joy to read.

This a story of a worrywoo named Rue who learns to love himself as he is. This book is a great way to share with students to love the way they are, even if they seem a bit different.
