Shinji and Rider are up to no good again, and this time everyone is going to suffer. As Shiro struggles to deal with the dramatic changes in his old friend, he struggles to balance his relationship with Saber as well. What does it really mean to be Master and Servant, anyway?
The story is very interesting so far. Illya has been far more active than she was within Unlimited Blade Works, and she is even spending time with Shiro. At least in Unlimited Blade Works she held a grudge against Emyia because of her father who unknown to her was unable to visit her due to her uncle. So far at least in this version they are far more friendly. Kirei has also been far more active within the story. On one hand he is enforcing the rules, but int the others he is also pushing Shinji down a dangerous path. Another thing Ilike is Rider, she has been far more active within the story as well, however in this telling she is far more loyal to Shinji. I'm used to her being very much against him and more loyal to Sakura.
The small bit towards the end of the volume is really sad. How Shinji and Shiro are working together. It even sadder since I already know what happens between them.
