We don't have a lot of pop-up books, but we were given this one as a gift. Sabuda's art and paper craft are amazing and my daughter has really enjoyed looking at this for several years. She knows many of the characters now, which helps. It's interesting to look at it now and see which letters would likely be changed if this were written today. E would certainly have been Elsa rather than Esmeralda! I do wonder why Quasimodo didn't get Q...

A most spectacular pop-up book that is highly entertains to the reader and the child! Every little opening has a wonderful picture of a Disney movie that opens up with a burst. No words, just pictures. I keep this book for my entertainment, primarily.

So the concept is fun. It's obviously an older book as it seems the newest movie depicted is Mulan. A newer edition might be fun if is existed but this is the one I own... for now anyway.

I love the art work in this book. I think if I was going to teach prek I would introduce these letters using this book at first because the kids will remember the sound of the letter if they have something they are interested in to relate it to.

This book is creative and fun. ABC Disney Pop-Up goes over the ABC's in a fun and exciting way. I think this book would be great to use in a Kindergarten classroom to go over the ABC's.

No matter whether you love or hate Disney, this is a pretty impressive book. With Robert Sabuda, is that really a surprise? My favorite parts were actually not the pop-ups themselves, but the panels behind which the pop-up characters were hiding. Even if there was no Dumbo, Nala, or Lumiere, the panels themselves would make this an impressive ABC book; they are painted in beautiful, textured, bold colors and patterns.

This book was a Christmas gift from my husband around ten years ago, knowing my love of alphabet and pop-up books. Each page contains two small pop-ups representing a Disney character. My favorite is Pinocchio, whose nose grows longer, but they're all great--fragile though, so needs supervision when read by small children.

Some of the kids I watch at the daycare center don't like learning or have no interested in learning the alphabet, but this book makes them want to learn and have me read the book to them. Disney characters along with the vivid popup imagery helps the children learn their ABC's in a fun and easy way.

Definitely one to purchase for households containing preschool Disney fans. Each page includes flaps under which the letter of the alphabet has corresponding Disney characters. One that children will pour over for hours...and nicely balanced mix of characters that appeal to both boys and girls.
