Sports Romance + The Christmas Holiday, yes please!!! This was a winner winner vegan chicken dinner 🤣!! I really enjoyed Kelton and Averi’s story!
Averi showed up to Blue Stone Mountain resort ready for a winter holiday baecation but when she arrived, not only did she not have a reservation at the resort but the bae to her cation was MIA…. I guess he forgot to tell her he was too busy celebrating his engagement!!! Oh yeah Allen 🗣️TRIED IT!!
Left homeless due to the resort being sold out and no way to fly home due to winter storm, things were not looking too good for Averi. Just when she was prepared to either sleep in her rental or at the airport an angel in disguise came to her rescue.
Kelton was prepared to spend the holidays alone since he was recovering from a football injury and hadn’t been cleared to play again. All this man wanted to do was pick up his preordered holiday meal and retreat to his mansion in the woods however over hearing Averi’s phone conversation led him to be the Good Samaritan his mother raised him to be!
This was an insta love done right and flowed really well! Kelton knew after a few short days that he wanted Averi to be his and the charm he unleashed on her had my girl risking it all and jumping in head first. There could have been a bit more holiday aspects to the story but overall I really enjoyed this read!

Kelton Prince to the rescue! Even though he was dealing with his own issues, Kelton feels an immediate pull towards Averi he can’t explain and an intense need to help the beautiful stranger. What follows are an eventful 48 hours that will entertain you and, once again, have you clutchin’ those invisible pearls. I adored this couple. Kelton and Averi were so cute together. Their chemistry was amazing and their witty back and forth banter was hilarious. They are, by far, my favorite couple of this series.

Super cute, fun plot, great dialogue, and cute back-and-forth banter. Averi and Kelton were so unproblematic and had an insta-love kinda thing. Because it was only like 2 days after meeting, and Kelton was applying all the pressure and Averi was a willing participant.
They were in their own little world, in that house, stranded, getting to know one another.
Although I wanted more Christmas, this was a super enjoyable read. Despite the myriad of errors.

Come on K.C.! Averi wore her heart on her sleeve and got caught up with a fboy, who left her in a precarious situation! She was devastated, not knowing what to do next! Kelton swooped in for the save! Loved him and his swag! ❤ Although Kelton was dealing with his own issues, he felt something for Averi, even in his brief interaction with her. He wanted to help, as he could see that she was a good person. Averi didn’t know if she could trust herself again, but what choice did she have? Kelton made sure he took care of her, in every way imaginable! 😜 Quick love story with no drama! Good job! 👍👍👍

This was cute love story! I like Averi and Kelton and could appreciate how Kelton knew what he wanted and went after Averi. I love a close proximity trope! Snowed in a super nice home in the woods for Christmas? Sign me up! I appreciate Kelton also admitting he wasn’t in love but strong infatuation with Averi and that he could love her one day. Definitely realistic. Their epilogue was sweet too.

Love at first encounter!
This was a good read for me, I was expecting a little more oomph, especially with the Warren situation. I loved how Kelton stepped in to aid Averi in her time of need. Warren was truly a lame for how he did her. Averi got to experience and enjoy a real man for Christmas. One that knew what he wanted. He wasn't going to leave her stranded in a town where she had no resources and didn't know a soul. He also wouldn't make her pay for her flight to Crescent Falls like Warren. Kelton made their first Christmas memorable so they can enjoy plenty more in years to come. He also locked down their relationship, he didn't leave any room for confusion. He made sure no one tried to seep in.
This read had my imagination spinning. Crescent Falls seems like a winter wonderland around Christmas. The scenery from this book alone makes me want to catch a flight. The vividness of the description was spot on. The house that Kelton had was magazine and Pinterest-worthy.

Tackle me daddy
Averi is cool but Kelton is without a doubt the star of this book. That man could Coming to America me and I’d be hopping and barking cause the BDE daddy vibes was strong with this one. I’m a DT girl over OT but this “big ugly” could get it any day of the week and twice on Sunday after the game. Ok now the story. It was such a sweet not quite love at first sight. I can officially say I love Mills’ writing style. I love how she uses real conflicts to drive her stories not depending solely on the trope. I wouldn’t call it’s a quick read but it has good flow and a nice pace. It’s a slower burn but it got great spicy Hallmark mahogany feels.

So Cute, Fun and Festive! Oh my and Football!
I read the book as apart of the Crescent Falls complete collection. It was the first story. I couldn’t get enough of Kelton. A man’s man. I loved that he was an offensive lineman and not a flashy receiver or QB. He was a black lumberjack who loved the Lord, his mama and his lady.

🔖🏈💔28% Kelton and Averi Location 1788 of 6477: Author K.C. Mills CONNECT WITH ME! - This story was pretty good but of course was instasex followed by instalove without much of a plot. Very Zane's Sex Chronicles.
🔖31% Viktor & Channing Location 2005 of 6477: Chapter 14 Channing - This story starts on Chapter 12 and it's going to be messy!
🔖55% Viktor & Channing Location 3561: Also By Kizzie Kollins - This story had a few storylines that made no sense, like the interview. I wasn't horrible but I just didn't enjoy it or the tropes.

My only issue with this story besides parts of it scene a bit recycled was it they could not decide on how to spell the author's name. I had previously seen Shane', but in this book, they started using Shané, and even introduced both spellings on the same page. I hope they figure it out because I plan on reading more from this author in the future.
I really enjoyed this collection. I picked it up because I could not find the stories individually on Kindle Unlimited. I had lost interest in reading this story by January so I was planning on reading it in the late fall or early winter but a Christmas in July got it back in rotation and even though it took a while, because new releases were priority, it was worth the time. I might have been a little biased with one story because I wasn't a fan of the plot but I truly enjoyed the others.
Recommend to others: Yes. If you don't mind spice this is a fantastic collection of stories.

Love at Christmas
Averi thought she was going to spend the holidays with the man she was planning her life with only to find he was f-boy 3000! Not only did he not show, he didn't book a room and left her stranded as a storm was approaching.
In walks Kelton. She doesn't know him from a can of paint, but he gets her through a panic attack and leaves his number in case she needs anything. She needs something. He has to rescue her from her "toy car" in a blizzard and offers her lodging for the weekend. One weekend with this Adonis is all it takes for her to realize that life is about chances, and the ones you don't take may very well be the ones that change the course of your life for the better.

This was such a beautiful love story. I literally smiled so much reading this.
Kelton was everything, literally. This man didn’t know this woman from a can of paint but felt responsible for making sure she was good and that he did in many ways.
Averi was skeptical about letting them happen because of her reasoning for being snowed in with him in the first place. I’m so glad she let go and lived in the moment.
They were the cutest together, just perfect for each other and I loved every minute of it‼️

Universal Signs!!
Allen had Averi out there like a whole side chick. He only called because she decided to to her phone back on so could call her cousin. Kelton said he was going to take charge because she wasn't going to talk to that clown. Kelton made up his mind that Averi was the woman for him as long as she still caught up on Allen. Plus he talked with his mama and she said if he feels that strongly about her go for it. Cooking was her passion all along just like football was his. Cute Christmas Story.

I really enjoyed this contemporary romance from this author. Kelton and Averi were so cute 😘 together. Their chemistry was amazing💥🔥. Kelton helped Averi realize what she deserved. I was so tickled 😂 when he got on the phone and boss up on her ex. K.C. Mills has done it again. I loved the Christmas story and the build up. Averi and Kelton, unique names and they truly belonged together! This was a story with an unusual and unique meet cute. It was very interesting, confusing, exciting and sensual because their feelings were expressed,heard and clear. I loved it from beginning to end also because the content was so raw and real because of the two hearts involved. The acceptance of their vulnerability and feelings were manifested in the relationship that was coming to fruition. Great Read! ReneeG.

Kelton Prince to the rescue!! Good read
Kelton was not about to play any games and I liked him. Avery had a past that caused her to overcompensate and make unhealthy decisions. But everything happened for a reason. It felt like they were predestined to be together. Kelton knew she was the one when he first saw her in the lobby and he pursued with intent. They were cute.

Poor Averi thinking she was about to have a restart with Warren only to find out he was a liar! Kelton Prince is on the injured list and at his Hill top home in Crescent Falls, over hears Averi's delimma and as they say the rest is history. This was a cute quick read, A little stretch of the imagination but a good read none the less!

Great read
This was a good story.. Kelton mouth was a mess but I loved how real he was and didn’t bit his tongue. Averi didn’t know what she wanted to me. I believe she was a good person just a lot of problems. I’m so glad she came around.
