Tulista tells Alana that she will be gone for 28 days but it will only feel like a few seconds to Alana. Alana gains entry to the restricted time laboratory to watch as Tulista is hurled back in time only to reappear seconds later, this time as the hostage of a sinister warrior, Silverthorn. When Tulista breaks free, Silverthorn takes Alana as his hostage and escapes back in time. Alana emerges from the time capsule to find herself lost in a strange world — the 1990s...

Felültem a nosztalgia vonatra és nem bántam meg. Ugyan, rá kellett jönnöm, hogy az idő jócskán megszépítette a történetet - és valljuk be, 14 évesen és 43 évesen olvasni ugyanazt a könyvet, teljesen más élmény -, mégis jó volt elővenni és újraélni Alana, Jenny és a többiek történetét. Maga a történet pörgős és izgalmas, néha kissé bugyuta, mai szemmel, mégis egy igazán jó ifjúsági könyv. Szívesen megnézném a sorozatot is újra, ha valahol fellelhető lenne. :)

So fantastically 90s. I adored the TV series and was so stoked when I found the books - this one wasn't until some years after. Thrillifying stuff :D

I Read this when the TV series was on TV(and that's ages ago).
It's based around Alana who is from the year 3000, she gets kidnapped and taken to the year 1990. she meets Jenny and befriends her.Jenny helps her Adapt to life in the 1990's,if only we all had someone like that!
