This is a book about the various types of cells that make up the human body. By using lively and expressive language, and by portraying the different cells with colorful and imaginative drawings, the author and artist teach the reader how an individual person is created from just one cell.
Great series of books for introducing a more difficult science subject. I learned a lot right along with my children. Our favorite title in the series so far has been 'Cell Wars' - absolutely fascinating!
Hücrenin en temel bilgilerinin verildiği bu kitap sayesinde kırmızı hücre, beyaz hücre, sinir hücreleri vb. bir çocuğun aklına yıllarca verilen biyoloji derslerinden çok daha iyi girmiştir.
Although this book is a little dated, it is a great informational book about cells. This would be a great non-fiction book to help introduce cells to younger grades. Very detailed but easy to read.
A perfect (and indeed, award winning) introduction to cells, DNA and chromosomes for 7-10 year olds. Colourful, clear, concise. Such a shame it is out of print.
