A brilliant story written by a very imaginative writer. I love Space Opera and I enjoyed the ride this one took me on. Jess is repair person who enjoys finding the problem with whatever appliance she is given. She loves her job, her farm and her life. Then, through a mix-up or by design (you have to read the book to find out), she transports to a starship only to find someone has taken her place on Earth. Once she comes to grip with where she is, she begins to enjoy her surroundings, and, wink, wink, Captain Marcus Viator.

Jess is fun and very likable and Marcus is everything a Space Opera Romance needs. A lot of the crew are good sports when it comes to watching Earth transmissions, especially everything Science Fiction including Star Trek in all its forms.

I enjoyed the story so much as soon as I’d finished reading and caught my breath, I began on the next Switched Two

I have never read sci-fi before, but since my fellow Michigan author asked for readers, I downloaded her book into the Nook app on my phone and ipad. I soon found myself hooked into the story of Marcus and Jessica, a very unlikely couple, as one is from a highly developed planet called Serenia and the other is from the primitive planet called Earth. Knowing how different their worlds are, they fight their attraction to each other, especially Marcus. But as the story progresses, the two discover they have more in common than they think.

I love a strong heroine, especially one who can think on her feet. Jessica is definitely a winner, and Marcus is a great match for her. Their relationship grows and develops in a totally believable way and I found the story very enjoyable.

Switched is an action-packed story about a woman abducted by aliens. And while on the extraterrestrial ship, she discovers secrets and helps to thwart a takeover.

I really enjoyed this story, as there was always something happening, or some shocking piece of information being revealed. The references to the sci-fi shows and movies I grew up with were awesome and well-placed.

And while the ending was satisfying, it was also left open for more stories. And I look forward to reading the next in the series.

Being kidnapped is bad enough, but Jessie is kidnapped by mistake. By aliens. How’s that for a bad day? This was an enjoyable SFR read with a sassy heroine and an appealing hero. Loved the one-liners.

My rating is probably more three and a half stars. Jessie was cool, the supporting characters (especially Tim) were interesting, and I liked the world a lot. I had forgotten how dark some of this author's books could be, so I was surprised by a certain event in the story. It will be interesting to see what happens with Scott and Veronese.

I had no idea whether I'd like this one, but just a couple pages in, I was hooked. With a smart, snarky, but vulnerable heroine who finds herself whipped from her recently inherited farmhouse, landing in an intergalactic spaceship, you start at full speed and that continued throughout the story. It was so much fun to read that I immediately ordered the sequel.

This was a cute story about aliens an twins and other coincidences that defy galactic odds. It includes a nice gooey romance between tow people who have many forces acting on their lives.

But the villain is absurd, and the coincidences pile up, so this is just meh.

Jessie Wyndom lived out in the country near Ann Arbor, Michigan.. and that's just the way she wanted it. Coming from very intellectual parents who spent more time with their work than their children, Jessie's grandmother's farm is the one place she felt at home. She was the local Ms Fix-It. Though her parents disapproved, she did a pretty good business and enjoyed it. Then one night out of the blue, everything changed. A bright light and Jessie was suddenly on what she believed to be a mock up of a space ship. Captain Marcus Aurelius Viator was disappointed when he looked a the Terran and realized she was NOT Cindy Crawford. When he finds out one of his crew members is responsible for this along with other surprises to come, he does his best to control his emotions yet handle the situation. What is he going to do with this loud, emotional Terran? A series of problems make it impossible for them to return Jessie to Earth. Jessie finally comes to terms with her situation and makes the best of it. Captain Viator was certainly not ready for Jessie to come barging into his life, still he couldn't say he wasn't grateful for the opportunity to learn some things about himself. Secrets, war and traitors make this trip one neither will forget.

Funny! Amazing! Captivating! These are just a few words to describe this wonderful book! Think of it as scifi crossed with a romantic comedy and a dash of down home humor. I loved that Captain Viator had a touch of Spock's discipline mixed with Captain Kirk's sexuality. These aliens had mad love for Star Trek and rock'n'roll! There are times you will laugh out loud while reading this book. Other times you will be pondering could something like this really happen? The characters are just that.. characters! Delightful personalities, wonderful sense of humor and loyalty like you've never seen. This book is one to share with friends!

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 out of 5 books because it really kept my attention.

This is one of those books that defies simple categorization, because it fits nicely into so many different genres. It's a sci-fi romance, filled with adventure, intrigue, and mystery. The characters are engaging, and the story, imaginative. It involves twins separated pre-birth; (Yeah, I said PRE, not AT.) a mad power-hungry scientist; an honorable space captain, who is torn between his sworn duty to follow orders, and living the life he wants to live; and a spunky gal who not only quickly adapts to being transported aboard an alien ship, but she becomes a helpful asset. Especially to the honorable... and hunky... space captain...

It's a fun, engaging story, and for once, I'm glad it's only part one of a trilogy, because I want to know where the story goes from here. (NOTE: Although this is part one, it is NOT a cliffhanger. You won't feel coerced to read the rest of the story; you'll simply want to read it.)

Four and a half stars, rounded up to five.

I have never read a SciFi book, but with the romance, suspense and a little comedy combined; I really enjoyed this book. It had a sassy main character, a hunky captain of a starship (with a great surprise), some quirky aliens, some conniving aliens. The beginning had me backing off... but it had me wanting to see what was going to happen. I was completely surprised with the rest of the book. I got so caught up in the story, I didn't want to put it down because I wanted to see what was going to happen next. It had lots of twists and turns that kept me interested in the story. It kept my mind occupied with trying to figure out who was gonna be the bad guy. Great story. I am definitely going to read Switched Too!!! Thanks for the great read.

First Book of a Great Sci-fi Trilogy

Oh boy, evil alien scientist, switched twins and a accidental abduction of Jessica onto a Alliance Spaceship straight out of Star Trek. There she meets the Captain Marcus Aureus Vitor and plunges into interstellar intrigue and romance. The heroine is spunky, smart and funny and her quips are delightful although you soon become aware that they are a shield for insecurity. Captain Vitor also has a major problem besides a war brewing in the background. A secret that will propel the story through the end.

This is so good it's on my favorite list and I am re-reading it the second time. Action, romance, great plot and characters; no graphic sex or violence.

This was a fun adventure to read. I loved the boldness of the heroine, the different alien species, and the struggle of following duty vs one's heart. I also liked that the male protagonist, Captain Viator, showed different points of vulnerability. So often books just show the female roles with vulnerability or inner strife, but this book had more balance by showing his struggles, too. I can't wait to read what happens with Neesie and Scott in book two!

Another SF romance the requires a lot of suspension of disbelief. Still fun though.
