(I also recommend watching his Secrets of the Matrix free on youtube!) I wanted to make this review for all the "Icke haters" who are clearly not giving this guy a chance. Think about the "crazy" stuff that has you thinking he is a Loon: the Reptilians, pedophiles, whatever, etc... (Well first know he talks about a heck of a lot more than those things, things that make brilliant sense!)... and after all his points are said and explained... he always drills it home with a solid unmistakable message of LOVE.

He crystal clearly made the point to say what matters is LOVE, loving ourselves and others as ourselves, and that INCLUDES loving ALL the corrupt/dark/evil people he talks about! Point blank said they are just another him and he is just another them, as are you and as am I, as we are ALL ONE. Individual souls of ONE infinite, eternal Consciousness. How can anyone really disagree with a message of love? Do you have to agree with EVERYTHING a person says? No! But should that make you throw the baby out with the bathwater? Also, no.

A straightforward, honest message of love and a message of SELF-REALIZATION is the trademark of an awake individual. First, second, even third appearances can be very misleading, so keep an open mind, yet remain unattached. David Icke is a great example of someone totally misunderstood, undervalued, and underestimated because people simply refuse to hear the ENTIRE message but instead turn it off, shout "crazy," argue with or look the other way or belittle them AS SOON as something is said that goes against their old beliefs! It's a very impulsive, immature, close-minded, programmed reaction!

Have enough common sense to know you should look at as many sides as possible before formulating genuine and valuable personal conclusions. When you ONLY watch/listen/entertain one BIASED side that automatically is aligned with "what you think you already know" instead of looking outside the box, you will miss out on amazing people with great minds and miss out on opportunities to EXPAND your horizons and your mind. Pick and choose, take and leave, but never stop the journey of REAL exploration! The coolest stuff is found in uncharted territories, paths not paved, secret caves, deep below the surface, the places most people of the planet haven't been... yet. <3 EXPLORE!

Oh, David Icke - so much insight and yet, so mislead. This book showcases the intricate web of secret societies and how they run politics, owning much of the world, and enslaving mankind in one way or another. Instead of seeing the leader of this coup on humanity as the Devil himself as revealed through scripture, Icke believes reptilian aliens are in the senate, posing as people. He brings up enough great points to not completely write him off as a nut job, however, the end result he comes up with is no great revelation and, indeed, showcases that he's not read Revelation. Proceed with caution...or skip all together...

I really could have done without the mind control and the accusations of politicians raping women and children. The high value we place on free speech is what must keep David Icke out of prison, but for all I know, maybe it's true. i tend to take what most people say with a liberal amount of salt.

Although i've listened to many of his lecutres, this was the first book I read by Icke, and I found it very humorous and powerful. I especially appreciated the "You can't fight violence with violence" message, and many of his beliefs stem from ancient cultures, or have been perverted by more recent religions. I don't know if I believe that some great apocolypse will happen next year, but I do like to read about it, and I do believe that most humans are selling themselves short in today's society. We are drones doing what we're told and going where we're told, and continually policing one another. I've always been one to march to my own beat, and many times i have been ridiculed for it, but I have never wanted to live up to others' expectations of me.

This book is a bit like having an acid trip on an airplane. Even if you come down, you're still high. The ideas he introduces are disturbing and jarring. I can guarantee that you will be changed after reading it. I don't think you will believe everything he writes in the book, but merely entertaining the possibility is enough to change you view of reality forever. Take a chance. But read with caution. You may end up as the raving lunatic on the street corner holding a "the end is neigh" sign.

Eye opening and smack in the face shocking in places. I like David Icke and his fearless approach to getting the truth out there. Having said that, there are still some parts of some of his books that are so shocking that my mind wants to believe them but struggles. Certainly gripping, thrilling and inspirational whether or not you take it all on board. Loved it.

What a different world we would live in if we all could apply what he shares in this book.
You cant come away from reading any of his books the same person you were before reading them.
Once your eyes are opened the world looks very different.

Compared to his early books this one has a lot of recycled material, the author keeps rambling for whole chapters about pure new age cliches, with new information to the table. It does touch on some highly strange subjects, that as the slave young guys that were portrayed in a book called The "Trance Formation of America", but most of it he keeps with his cliche, for instance, at some point he claims that we just need to change our thought pattern and everything will change, that we just need to be loving. I find this ludicrous and fallacious. He wrote this in 95, we are now in 2016, and the millennials are more loving and nice, still, they are deluded and as silly as ever.
Other silliness, just to give an example, that we should not look after ourselves, it is ok to be fat, that this is not important, or if we think we are not old we will not get old... Still, the author has aged a lot. I don't think appearance is the most important thing, but it is an important element, we are not only the books that we read, so the author was espousing all this SJW ideology a bit before it actually happened. Then we have to cope with the fact that he keeps talking about how spiritual and learned spiritual things which is just really embarrassing. The author should refrain to play the good guy, what he is not, he is a moron, but he does give interesting information now and then, but not in this book.
"When we get angry with others, we are getting angry with ourselves." This book is filled with this new age garbage, it is really unnerving, I included this passage just to make my point clear, utter cliche, and the saying of the guru. Rubbish.
And of course, he made a fool of himself saying the Elite would lose quite soon. Well, I am writing in 2016 and they look strong...

The truth is out there..., nagu Mulder ehk ütleks.
Valiku, mida uskuda, mida mitte, peab igaüks ise tegema.

(Zero spoiler review)
A smaller, more introspective effort from David here in one of his earlier works. Far more exploratory, personal journey than his later, mightier tomes. Less expose, and more intimate assessment of the ways in which society, and those who control society, attempt to control the thoughts and feelings of the individual in order to manifest the dark reality they wish to achieve. Well executed with David's usual panache for engaging, page turning writing. If I was going to recommend one book of David's it wouldn't be this one. I can think of a dozen in fact I would likely recommend before this one. Although given the times we are currently experiencing, maybe this book is more prescient now than ever. If you want the definitive David Icke experience, then read The Perception Deception. If you've read a few of David's books and are looking for something a little different, then by all means, check this one out. 4/5

What to say?

On the one hand, it's about mind control, about sleepwalkers and satanic presidents that are pedophiles and their terrible controllers from the fourth dimension; on the other hand, it's about love, caring, sharing and about realizing that there's nothing limiting you, nothing holding you back but your programming — do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law, as Crowley said.

I can't vouch for the conspiracy stuff in the first half of the book, but I enjoyed the latter part of the book about spirituality.

Would I recommend anyone to read this book? Not really. I mean, the accusations are so far out that it's more a kind of comic relief, but yeah. And the spiritual stuff you can get from other sources. So, read something else.

Utterly vapid self-help book joined at the hip with conspiracist rambling and grudge-airing. Strip away the latter, and - much like Icke's earlier "Heal the World" - the self-help stuff boils down to utterly useless platitudes on the level of "have you tried not being depressed?" This guy has been around for a long time, saying metaphysical things. And also controversial things. Many of which seem to have the odd coincidence of later being proved true. Worth giving him a read. Start here. Less overwhelming than his fatter tomes.

Ok. Talking about the content of the book will be a bit of a challenge for me so I am leaving that for later. In the meantime, I would like to concentrate on the style.

Mr. David Icke's style of writing sounds more like a string of several speeches squeezed in one book. He is,by far, a good orator in terms of speech deliverance and presentation, although when it comes to the writing...it felt like an audio book would be much more preferable than to read through the speech form style of his.

As far as his content is concerned, and since it's all stringed neatly as speeches, you may guess that he would be bombarding his audience is informational contents one after the other, not letting you sit back and absorb it slowly...especially if you were new to his works and speeches on Youtube.

Although I am a sucker for anti-illuminati work, I however found the book to be a bit too unrealistic. I know he tries to make us see things differently, but I can come up with a few counter theories to contradict his. For instance, when he suggests that true love is to let your partner BE...whether he or she is being harmful to oneself or not, and that it is a part of the learning growing experience we need to evolve into higher levels of dimensions???
I found it to be a little bit too neglect-able. Why would you let your partner hurt themselves if you know that they were heading into danger???

Sounds to be like he wants us to leave our partners to their eminent doom!!!
and boy...the cherry on the icing is when he suggests that we should also leave them live out other sexual rendezvous in order to help them grow SPIRITUALLY?!
...So just, what spirituality is he talking about?
Another interesting bits he mentions that sticks out in my mind are: the concept of 9 dimensions of oneself (must mean how you open yourself up for Djinn manipulation), Personal God Lie and last but not least words play (as in we call things and associate them with meaningless words to give meaning? huh?! ok?!)

Out of this all...I must admit that I appreciate a few things though...
The facts that we mustn't raise our hopes so high (which is good and always blessings come forth from doing so), the illusion that this world is the start and the end of everything (true)and whatever good you do shall come back to you in one form or the other.

Can't award it more than two stars unfortunately, although towards the ending it got me to scroll down faster than usual. Interesting to all who want to expose themselves to new ideas and concepts.

While I disagree with this author on some points as mentioned in this book (some parts I strongly disagree with) - I still respect and appreciate his immense intellect - just because I don’t agree with everything doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate on the many important points he raises as well as makes sense about - even if it’s not exactly how I may see it.

I have been following his various talks and interviews for a while and enjoy them - so this was my first book I decided to read from him - compelling read which will challenge you in a good way ...I admire his courage to be different and willing to go against the grain with no fear of ridicule or banishment (which he has been dealing with from the very beginning) especially considering the date this was first published - he is a original pioneer and challenger to much dogma in the world we deal with which indeed is wrong and needs questioning - which he does superbly in this book many years ago like he still does today...

To Our Continued Success!

(lk 185)

The first book I've ever read by fellow Leicester-ite David Icke. It's very easy to simply dismiss the man as a nutter (particularly when he begins to rant on the frankly unbelievable subject of rape and other abuses of mind-controlled slaves by the rich and powerful) but then he waxes lyrical on the subjects of spirituality and the pursuit of materialism, and goes from sounding like a lunatic to making eminent sense in some respects. A maddening, fascinating window into the mind of a man who refuses to be easily pigeon-holed. I'll no doubt read more of his work, only to scratch my head and wonder exactly why I did. As ridiculous as the book may get, it has the virtue of never being dull. :-)

its a short read but its more new age than conspiracy theory so if you want more of that it would be most advisable to read The Biggest Secret: The Book That Will Change the World or another of his books. the be less judgemental, love more & have more meaningful tantric sex seems like a no-brainer but maybe not so obvious in western civilization minded global order.

By reading this book i was able to be more critic about everything that's going on in the world (or well it change the interpretation that im giving to the world) and it let me analyse that everybody can be a toy of the social system, by saying toy i mean that sometimes the persons can be use or manipulate by this social system and that we can change that.
I think its an interesting book, but i think David Icke is a little bit paranoid about the conspiracy theory.

Loved it. But author ('channel') feels the need to isolate the identity of evil by name- and worse- pretends its "Satan". To the author's credit, he lovingly shits on the Jewish 'anti'-defamation league, on account of its actual purpose in defaming as "racist" and as "anti-Semitic" any person who truthfully slanders or exposes Jewish corruption and conspirators. A short read worth re-reading.
