This has absolutely no right being so cute. It’s a holiday short and something released by the author right to the readers so no points docked for editing even though my spelling challenged ass did notice some errors. It was worth every typo, because I love this world that much.
This one was super cute too!! It's only 19 pages long so I can't really say much else about it without spoilers but I loved it! I know this follows Psyche and Eros' pov (and I loved them) but the entire family really stole the show and I loved it!
Mmm, idk, this one felt like it was verging on some sort of Hallmark movie moment and not a real slice of Olympus as we know it? Maybe it's just all the baby talk? I'm just really not a fan of that romance book thing where partners get together and then have kids so soon...it feels forced and very nuclear family. Also, Robert leaning into the stereotypical tropes of pregnant women craving ice cream and sweets, being super hormonal, and their husbands being all doting was lowkey cringe. It wasn't bad for a short story, but definitely my least favorite out of anything in the Dark Olympus world to date.
First of all GR needs to correct the order of the books because no way I read it before Electric Idol 😭
To avoid all sort of spoilers this should be read after the Zeus and Hera short story.
It was so effing cute and wholesome to see a man's pov where he is finally getting to witness what a family life can be like. Also how he notices the small ways Hades is reacting to Persephone's pregnancy and thinks about having it for himself.
Can't wait to read his and Psyche's story now. (THANK YOU FOR THIS FUCK UP GR) 🥲

This was a really sweet, fun, side story featuring Eros and Psyche. I love the little glimpses into the characters' "happily ever afters". Nothing really happens here but a nice, family Thanksgiving with the Dimitrou women and their significant others. Fun and light.
everything centered around eros is a big yes to me. he is my baby boy. I love him. and to see him thrive after electric idol and continue to find love in psyche’s arms? perfection to me!!
this was so cute and very adorable to read
katee thank you for spoiling us with update from our fav Dark Olympus couples! it’s always great to see some past characters be in domestic dynamic and future characters we are waiting for their storyline (hi zeus)

The characters are well-developed, embodying both the strengths and flaws of their mythological counterparts. The series stands out for its bold storytelling and imaginative reimagining of classic tales. Readers will appreciate the intricate plot, steamy relationships, and the seamless blend of ancient mythology with modern life. Robert's writing is engaging, making it a thrilling read for fans of romance and mythology alike.
As usual, literally nothing epic happened in this, and getting it from Eros' POV before reading their story left me all puzzled and confused. It was nice seeing all of them together but I'm here surviving from all the crumbs from Hades and Persephone. I love these two so much and it fills my heart with immense and utter joy that they are still together and happy. They deserve all the peace and happiness they can receive!
Hard to say when in the series this takes place as I’ve only read the first one but it was a nice peek at how Hades and Persephone are doing after the HEA though I didn’t care that a lot of the story is a pregnancy and upcoming babies (this is strictly a me thing, had nothing to do with the story). If you’re more caught up on the series this one probably makes more sense.
I should not have read this yet! I just finished book #3 and so I thought an Eros short would be safe... it's not. Definitely minor spoilers for one of the latter books, I'm sure. I have been going into each book blind AF and now I think I know how one of them is gonna go and it seems a lot like Wicked Beauty.
KR does love to look at the Dimitrious through Eros's eyes, doesn't she? Thawing that chunk of ice where his heart oughta be into something that resembles a heart capable of deeper feeling.
This one's a Thanksgiving story and he's just as wry as ever. Psyche really does love him!
I love a good holiday story, and seeing the craziness of the Demetriou family reminds me of my crazy family. The chaos and joy that comes from the holidays is something special and Katee has captured it perfectly in this short thanksgiving story.
Even though it's only a short I'm rating it 5 stars because I normally HATE the trope this ends with BUT....because Katee has made me care so much about these characters, I absolutely love it.
