Although she recently made a new friend, hers is a lonely and fearful life. Cut off from her family and friends for their own safety, she’s got no one to lean on. Always the vivacious one ready to go out drinking and dancing, she now has to keep to herself and stay hyper-vigilant for anyone who might decide she looks like easy pickings.
Some nights she even questions if this is a life worth living.

Chimera shifter Lexington “Lex” Granger built a career as a mercenary who can survive the toughest situations. But all of it has taken its toll. He finds it hard to interact with family and he only has one friend. Everyone else shies away from him, probably for good reason. A local wolf shifter pack even named him Dyn Tywyll, Welsh for dark man. It’s an uncomfortable feeling when you realize that those closest to you are intimidated. Lex worries that even if he manages to find a mate, he might not be able to convince her that he isn’t a scary monster, especially because he’s not so sure he isn’t.
Mac
Ignatius “Mac” Mackenzie had resigned himself to loving Lex from afar. Trying to be content with only friendship between them, he was quick to make himself available to Lex anytime he asked. He expected to someday watch Lex find his fated mate and live happily ever after.
What he didn’t expect was for the two of them to meet their mate while horsing around at a dive bar. When the three touch it’s obvious they’re all meant to be together.
But when the mysterious woman runs away, Lex has a near meltdown. Mac is left to figure out how to find her while also keeping the chimera shifter from razing all of San Diego.
And when they do find her, they’re going to have to figure out how to explain that she belongs to them and they belong to her.

I really love this series! I have been reading fantasy romance for decades, and this is the first series I have read in recent years that feels fresh and exciting.
While vampires and shifters are always fun and sexy, it is really cool to explore other creatures and how they all fit together.
I appreciate that each character gets to have their own feelings and development. I also love how despite their being the insta love, the relationship(s) are given the time to develop and mature.
In this book I really enjoyed that the three came together and built a relationship that worked on their terms. They all showed mutual respect and were committed to solving problems together.
I have already pre-ordered the next book!

When Darkness meets Dawn
Third book in the series. I'm really liking how the power differences are played out in each character - in the bedroom and then out in the world. Each of the three books have been good at characterisation in this regard. The characters are distinct and have depth. Their interactions are easy to relate to and they make sense.
The world is filling out nicely -it's understandable and interesting. The character set up for the next book looks super cool.
My favorite line,
“Vampires don’t have temper tantrums; we display dominance.”
And you know he was totally having a temper tantrum.

A new flock
Lex and Mac suddenly realize that they are mates but their third has become terrified and runs. Inami is trying to figure out life as a vampire and now has two shifters as her flock. Together they have to learn how to trust themselves, each other, and their relationship.
I love the paranormal world created here that runs within our regular one. This is an instant love story with a bit of suspense at the end. It found it to be a great read and is a standalone within the series.

I am truly loving this series! Seeing Mac, Lex, and Imani all together was amazing! Big, tough Lex is the definition of cinnamon roll on the inside. Mac is such a sexy dominant man who is just a big teddy bear. And Imani? The powerful young vampire? So strong, so firm in what she wants, and such a kick butt heroine. Definite sexy times and the action was intense and kept me reading way past my bedtime! So looking forward to the next one!

Book 3 in this very entertaining series. Imani is a young vampire who has not been taught much of anything about being a vampire. She is a lot stronger than anyone expects! When Imani meets her flock, Lex and Mac, the fun begins.
Oh, what a story!! We are introduced to hobgoblins, pixies, an ancient vampire that can turn into a griffin!
There is a happy ending, very few errors.

Good Story!
I love that Imani is so strong, emotionally and physically. I love Mac and Lex, it was fun to see the relationship grow as well as Imani learn more about what it means to be a Vampire and have a Flock. Cora was a kickass friend, Kimble and Pike were unexpected. A good read and have been enjoying this author.

I want a Sopek!
I have been waiting to read this book for a year and was not disappointed. RK Munin never disappoints! I love the characters, the settings, the story. Everything works like a well oiled machine!

I've really enjoyed the books I've read in this series so far. The story structure is interesting as is the writing. It's an interesting mix of funny and action along with steamy romance. The characters are always really engaging. Some things seem to happen really fast, which always surprises me. But overall I really enjoy the stories including this one.

Another super unique story. I just love the chimeras in these stories. Each thruple is a different configuration. This one was particularly good with the young female vampire. Can't wait for the next one.
