I bought this book for my 8 year old daughter after her father decided he wanted a divorce. She refused to read it and said it would not help her. I encouraged her to at least read the first page. After she read the first page, she decided it would help and read the book within a week. I read it as well and it gives a lot of great information and advise for kids dealing with their parents divorce.

A great informational read filled with varying situations paired with personal blurbs, short quizzes, vocabulary, and advice. Very accessible read from the writing to the multicultural pictures. One fault may be that although many situations and emotions are present, they are not elaborated on for very long.

This book really helped me reinforce what I already knew, and I was surprised to learn some things in this book.
