This is a short and steamy instalove novella with a touch of the stalker and daddy tropes!
Noah met Isabella when she was just 7 years old and he was a teen. She led him to her father's safe so he could steal money from him. 12 years later, he's still watching over her. He saves her whenever she's in a dangerous situation.
He eventually rescues her from her father's clutches and takes her to the home he had prepared for her. Isabella adores Noah and their attraction to each other is intense. The daddy kink kinda came out from nowhere but I didn't have a problem with it. ;)

Noah’s father was cheated out of his business and fortune, sent to prison by a man that turned on him. Noah goes back to kill said man, but meets his unknown, small daughter, Isabella. Isabella shows Noah where her dad keeps his money, letting Noah take it and get away.
12 years later and Noah is still watching Isa, who is a prisoner in her dads home. Usa’s mom died from cancer shortly after her birth. Her father loved her mother deeply, but blames Isa for her death, holding her prisoner as the only link to her mother. But every time Isa is in trouble, Noah is there to save her- including from her fathers prison.
This was a very short, brief novella. Like 59 pages or so. Not a lot happened, but I enjoyed it ok.

DAYUUMMMM!!! This was FUUUUEGGGGGOOOO!!!! I absolutely loved this short steamy little nugget of swoon! A tormented hero who stalks and protects the heroine? YASSSSS! This was short, but it was still a scorcher.

A story about a man who is trying to get revenge for what a man took from his father years ago and the woman who was a child when they met. The man was younger when he broke into the house of the man that took everything from his dad that is were he would meet the little girl who would change his life for the good. She unlocked the safe for him so he could take the money and everything inside of it. The couldn't get the girl out of his mind so he watched her throughout the years and when the time came he came and took her from the father who never loved her. The father of the girl blamed her for her mother's death and kept her hidden from the rest of the world. The man took her to the home he bought for her knowing that she would love it. They each loved one another and they made love underneath a willow tree. Her father came to get her back but the man comes just in time to stop him they fight and her father dies. They get married and have twins, still in love with each other.
A beautiful story with great characters a real page turning easy to read happily ever after ending that was fabulously written.

Book One of the Suddenly His Series.
This brief read starts the series off with a bang. Cassi Hart gives us two characters that are both in circumstances beyond their control, but one little event born of innocence sets the stage for two entire lives.
Noah is anything beyond innocent with his choices, and the reader finds his redeeming quality in how he protects his angel and has for years. Isabella is paying for actions that she had no choice in and has been trapped in a cage her entire life. One action by her as a child ties the two together in ways she learns about after she is an adult. There is just enough of the past meets the present to make the story plausible.
Not a favorite read due to the whole stalker nature and Stockholm syndrome vibe that comes through with the characters. It is a severe detraction from the story and takes away from the sweeter moments that the two share.
A quick read that has a smooth flow.

12 years ago Isabella helped Noah and made an impression on the man that was hell-bent on revenge against her father.
Since then Noah has been building himself up so he can protect Isabella when the time comes to get his woman. But that doesn't mean he hasn't been keeping an eye on Isabella every time she leaves her father's fortress.
For Isabella, all she knows is that there's a dark 'guardian angel' who is always there to protect her and as she gets older waking her body up to desires she's never felt before.
But once Noah rescues Isabella things aren't just smooth sailing for the new couple. Isa's dad may have hated her, but he hates losing things he thinks of his possession even more.
Good story.

Eu tenho tantas questões com esse livro.
Primeiro de tudo, eu cheguei nesse livro porque estava na vibe de ler um stalker romance, mas a parte de stalker em si foi só citada brevemente e eu 🤡
Também tem o fato de no começo o pai dela parece ser apenas um criminoso de colarinho branco, mas de repente ele está agindo como um mafioso e eu só ficando cada vez mais confusa.
Eu sei que está no título, mas todo o dirty talk de daddy foi intragável. E o mini querido sabe que ela não socializou em nenhum momento da vida direito e espera que ela se comunique perfeitamente num relacionamento amoroso (novidade pra ela) e pune ela (sexualmente) quando não acontece, mas sem explicações ou consentimento!!!!
De modo geral, a ideia era ótima, mas a execução deixou muito a desejar.

I really liked this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even with the mentions of violence. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Jacob Darwin was a selfish, inconsiderate jerk that deserved what he got. Noah and Isabella “met” when she was a child. She changed his plans and his world forever. Isabella (Isa) had been confined her entire life except for appointments with the doctor. During one of the appointments, she was rescued by someone that she later decided to call her guardian Angel. There was some drama and a little bit of angst but it resolved well. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This was the first book I've read by this author and it was okay. The writing wasn't great and it could've been longer. The heroine was annoying at times, but she's also 19, so I understood her. Overall, an interesting story and a new author who has potential to be really good.

Lots of happily ever after with a smidgen of violence. It could have been a full length book but the author, Cassi Hart did a wonderful job of condensing it.

I Really Enjoyed It
I really enjoyed this story. I honestly wish it was a little bit longer, but overall, I thought it was near perfect. There were a ton of editing issues though that really through some of the story off. So that’s why I gave it four stars.

Sweet and hot
A very sweet and sexy short story, with a plot thankfully very different from the norm.
What I loved the most was the way the author gave dimension to characters in such a short book. Needless to say, the writing was great.

No love just lust
Not a romance just lusty and revenge and some power issues. Have a difficult time with any daddy/babby open door scene. That and some of the story misses the people around and this poor isolated girl has no friends.

Okay, I know the title is "Daddy's Secret Angel", but gross.
The "daddy" stuff is cringey, especially considering the relationship she had with her own father.
And then saying, "We're going to learn to discuss things like adults" and then spanking her?
Just....gross.
