EVERY educator should have a copy of this book. It is a quick guide to understanding the educational laws that are set in place federally for the benefit of teachers, students, and administrators. It even lists ways that the laws are seen being practiced and enforced in everyday life in the classroom. Very practical and easy to understand. Would highly recommend and urge every educator to read.

(I read this for class, but by some miracle, I did read the entire thing)

It’s a textbook-ish thing so keep that in mind, but it was actually super interesting and easy to digest. I went from knowing basically nothing about school law to feeling like I will be prepared for scenarios that may happen when I’m counseling. Yay for learning!

Honestly forgot to log this bad boy cause it was given to me in pdfs through grad school. But my honest opinion here is that every teacher needs this. It goes over school law succinctly and offers practical ways that the law is practiced in the classroom and where it shows up in everyday teaching. Great book that should be marked as a need to read.
