A Merry Vested Wedding by Melanie Moreland is a beautiful holiday addition to all of you Vested Interest and The Contract series Fans, of which I am one. But what this also is, is a peek into the next generation of our beloved characters. The children have all grown up and have formed a branch of BAM, The ABC Corp. The children are all as equally driven and successful as their parents were. But this book focuses on two particular characters, and their very special day.
Brayden Riley, Maddox’s son, and Addison (Addi) Ridge, Bentley’s daughter have known each other since they were born. It wasn’t until they were older that their friendship changed and they fell in love. It’s December 22 and it’s their wedding day.
“Maddox Riley was everything I wanted to be for my own kids. Strong, loving, and generous. I wanted to be the kind of husband he was to my mother.”
These families have continued to grow, both in size, and in their closeness. They love and support one another and that bond is so evident throughout this book. The values they cherish have been passed on to their children. I loved this look into the relationships between Maddox and Brayden, and between Addi and Bentley. We get little peeks into their pasts and I loved that.
“What are you thinking about, Brayden? You're smiling like you just won the lottery."
"I did win the lottery. I got you."
There is also a secondary story going on here, a secret that is a little taste of Melanie’s next book, My Saving Grace. This book is everything you want a holiday book to be, sexy and sweet with all the holiday goodness you can handle. These characters have become so special to me and to experience them again and share their close bonds warmed my heart. Now, I can’t wait to see what Melanie has in store for us next!

Readers will always have their favorite characters, some even have their favorite series, but it takes a special author to not only continue to add characters and storylines to a series but put everything together in such a way to make the readers feel like they are part of the family. Melanie Moreland outdid herself with this book. The marriage of Addison and Brayden not only bring Maddox and Bentley together but builds a bridge to a spinoff series that wil be loved and read just as much as the original BAM boys. The personal insights from the characters about finding true love, fighting for your dreams and watching your child grow and move on with their own lives was a touching and heartwarming addition to a wonderful holiday romance. Melanie, we all love the BAM boys and to now get the second generation with the ABC crew is a wish come true. 5 stars are not enough!!

#TeamBAMAintOver got its holiday wishes to come true in this brand new crossover novel from Melanie Moreland.
The reason why I love her storytelling is Melanie Moreland can pull more stories from where you've already been reader satisfied with a happily ever after. Fans of The Contract and Vested Interest series will be excited to read the kids are all grown up (and so are most of the adults) and ready for their HEAs. Through the magic of her words, Ms. Moreland gives us a look at Addison Ridge and Brayden Riley who grew up and fell in love with each other. Through the scenes of getting ready for their big day, we see their love story unfold. But...she doesn't stop there. The story carries us through the magic of the holidays with all the 'family' together.
What I loved:
- for a fangirl, this story was everything and more
- a love story delivered before your eyes
- a fan 'love letter' to see all your favorite characters together for a celebration
Things to consider:
- you don't have to read the Vested Interest series or Contract to enjoy
- But you should read them because it means so much more
Yeah, that last part, I can hear the ARC Team* yell at me. Well, that and not sharing spoilers. I really worried when I read an early draft that readers might get lost jumping in at this point. I will never doubt Melanie's storytelling again. YOU can jump in at this point - we are starting a new generation and the story carries that. HOWEVER, you'll meet the elders and I dare your reader curiosity not to get the better of you to not read the backstories.
Recommendation: Buy it!!
Because you are NOT going to want to miss what is next for ABC Corp in My Saving Grace.

The whole gang is back in A Merry Vested Wedding and it’s like going home. Melanie Moreland has the most romantic heart of any writer I know and her books just fill your soul with glee. You could read this as a standalone, but if you can read the others in this series (free in #kindleunlimited), you will never regret it as this book is a family reunion with all my favorite people between the pages.
In this day and age of quarantining and remote learning, this feel-good romance has no angst and just the most wonderful words that will make you believe in true love. I was so happy to find the “family tree” outline in the beginning of this book because it takes place in the future after Sandy ended. The BAM team are all happily married now with young or grown children, and in A Merry Vested Wedding, Addison, the daughter of BAM leader Bentley Ridge and Emmy Ridge, falls in love with Brayden, the son of Maddox and Dee Riley.
Friends since they were born, these two were meant to be as they spent many holidays and summers visiting the BAM residential compound built especially for the partners and friends of the company. I loved learning of their young love and how it blossomed into their engagement and marriage which is the focus of this book. Addison’s father’s words to her the morning of their wedding had me tearing up, and were so emotional and real. Bentley was always so stoic and alpha at work, but to him she will always be his little girl, and he was just a dad giving his daughter away.
Their wedding is so magical a few days before Christmas in the beautiful location in the snow with only their close family and friends in attendance. The descriptions took my breath away and made me feel as if I was there right next to Reed and Becca, Van and Liv, Halton and Fiona, Richard, Jordan, and Cami and Aiden (who always cracks me up) and all their children.
Addison is not only beautiful but super smart and successful, following in her father’s footsteps by serving as the President of ABC, a new division of BAM that finds and develops new business opportunities. I so admired how Brayden supports and encourages her at work as he serves as the company’s business executive having gained his CPA license. He is not intimidated and lets her shine!
These two were such a sweet pair and perfectly complemented one another. Melanie’s heroes are always so swoony with great character and Bentley is no exception. He learned from the best as his dad was a first-class act, but also has a sense of humor and a protective nature. They are young, but have a very bright future.
I so enjoyed getting a peak into Gracie story (she’s the daughter of Richard and Katy Van Ryan) and her new relationship with her boss, Jaxson, a brilliant attorney. She’s a legal intern and there is definitely lots of drama and sexual tension between these two. I just wanted to hug him and tell him to hang in and fight for the woman he loves! Looking forward to reading “My Saving Grace” as well as the other anticipated romances of the next generation of BAM.

This book is perfect for this time of year! It’s sweet and romantic. Melanie Moreland has a knack for writing romance with warmth, comfort and HEAT!
I’ve read all of the Vested Interest books as well as the Contract series so the connection was immediate. It was great to revisit the characters from those books with their children being the focus.
I love Addie and Brayden’s wedding story as well as the glimpse into Gracie VanRyan’s story, so excited to see where that goes!
Well done, Melanie Moreland! Love it!

You know a book is special from the moment you pick it up and A Merry Vested Wedding is one of those books buts lets be honest this series is a very special series that has touched so many.
Melanie Moreland and her men and women of BAM mean a lot to me so this book was always going to be a must read but the next generation was so much more than I expected, this book touched me on so many levels, in fact I’m struggling to put words down to do it justice.
Brayden ( Bray) Riley and Addison ( Addi) Ridge have been friends and in love for many years and their wedding was meant to be, this is a couple that grew up as friends, went to lovers and are now about to become one as husband and wife, they compliment and complete each other and their journey is one you will want to read but for me I think you will get so much more out of this book if you have read the previous books from The Vested Interest Series.
I couldn’t put this book down, I felt like I was home with family and friends as I caught up with the next generation as well as the parents I love so much. A love story that is the perfect addition to the series.

The first Melanie Moreland book I read was Bentley, from the Vested Interest series. Which of course lead me to read the next six books, so reading A Merry Vested Wedding was just the next logical step. Readers always wonder what happens in the later years and you don’t often get the chance to find out.
All the kids from the Vested Interest series and the Contract series are now grownups, out in the world working or finishing off their education. Beginning lives of their own and in this book we are attending the wedding of Addison Ridge and Brayden Riley.
These two have grown up with each other, have gone through the teenage years, university and now they are getting married.
With a “large extended family” one can only guess at what might happen at this wedding. Who will be in the wedding party, what will the dresses look like all those things wedding guests want to know. One of the biggest questions we might have is, which father will take it the hardest? The men of BAM have been hands on dads and these families are close.
Melanie Moreland writes beautiful love stories, the kind that makes you laugh and cry while reading. This story is the new beginnings not just for Addi and Brayden but also for the rest of the “extended families” and readers. Men and women who have grown up that we get to know, old friends to visit with and the one thing Melanie Moreland does best, yet another beautiful love story to bring to readers.

This is a cute just over 3 hour audio book that brings memories from the BAM series while welcoming the authors new ABC series with a holiday wedding and a small look at My Saving Grace, the first book in the ABC series.
Addison Ridge and Braydon Riley have chosen too have a Holiday Wedding and everyone was there!
I’ve read this book numerous times and I was waiting for my favorite quote from the book was from Aiden.
Aiden held up his hands. “Just asking.” He grinned my way (towards Brayden). “She calling you daddy now!” and OMG I almost fell off the couch listening to John Lane say that!
As I usually do when I read it, I couldn’t stop laughing! It was perfect!
John Lane and Maxine Mitchell did a great job (they always do). A great short listen and a wonderful way to get into the Holiday spirit.

Sweethearts since childhood, Brayden Riley and Addison Ridge are trying to plan their wedding. And their families and friends all step in to have a say and be a part of the celebration.
I adored this story and loved feeling like I got another chance to visit with the wonderful BAM gang. This was a story that had me teary eyed, hitting me in “all the feels”! There was swoony romance, sweet family fun, plenty of laughs and a few surprises.

This view of the future generation coming from the BAM boys was awesome! Yes this is a continuation and it is best read after you've read the Vested Interest series. You dont have to but to appreciate the guys being dads and their reactions to their kids being adult enough to be married, i highly recomend reading them. Two of the oldest are getting married here, Braden and Addison. I loved how Melanie Moreland used their two voices throughout the book. Their insights into feelings about everything happening gave the story so much depth. I was surprised by the dads feelings on the marriage... ok, i really wasn't. Bentley and Maddox had the reactions i expected. Aiden was his usual self and Richard, oh poor Richard. This book starts off a new series and crumbs were left for us to follow for a lot of the second generation. I am thrilled we get to see this family again!

Oh. My. Word....... first if you have not read the Vested Interest Series... run run right now and read them because it will all be worth it once you read this. You will get all the emotions in this novella. I think I laughed way more than I ever thought I would, but all the fun that happens around Brayden and Addison’s holiday wedding is everything. I mean I guess it should be expected with this crew. Addison and Braden are perfect for each other, and you can see that clearly in this story. Gosh Melanie Moreland did an amazing job expressing the love they share for each other so perfectly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I am not about the spoiler game, but oh word bombs go off and you need this in your life. This will leave you wanting more and more so be prepared to be invested in what happens next with this lively crew.

Oh.my.gosh!!! I loved this story!! Melanie has absolutely hit it out of the park with this series! She never disappoints me, she frustrates me at times, lol, but she never disappoints!! This story is about the next generation of BAM, known as ABC. It’s a story that is full of love and memories, friendships and family, of growing up and letting go! You can’t help but fall in love with the absolutely wonderful characters in this series! Completely amazing!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wedding bells and Jingle bells, what more could you want?! Like meeting up with old friends, perfect for this time of year, snuggled in a blanket by the fire. Its a warm and cosy read filled with love and family. This feels like one of Melanie Moreland's epic epilogues filled with all our favourite characters, witty banter and teasing, some full on laugh out loud moments (Thanks Aiden) and a glimpse of hope for future stories.

When you think your done reading the wonderful Vested series, the wonderful Melanie Moreland gives us the next generation. Brayden and Addison have grown up together and when they realized the loved each other they knew it would be forever. Bentley has to learn how to let his baby girl, Addi, go and be looked after by another man. Maddox has to let his son Brayden begin q new chapter in their lives. The amazingblive that both fathers have for their children. The amazing love that Brayden and Addi have. What a wonderful Christmas until secrets are revealed and you are left wanting more.

Oh my heart! It was like attending a family reunion! I love this blended, vested family so much and I'm so happy that Ms. Moreland made the decision to let us get to know the second generation of this wonderful family -- and at the most beautiful time of the year!! Her exquisite description of the BAM compound made we feel like I was right there in the midst of their celebration. There are quite a few heartwarming, tear-inducing moments that had me grabbing the tissues because I've lived through all the ups and downs of all these characters and I only want the best for them. To really fully enjoy this read, you really should immerse yourself in the entire Vested Interest Series and the Contract Series and believe me, you will not be sorry. Another stunning addition by one of my favorite authors!

This was exactly the book my heart needed this weekend! A Christmas wedding between two of the BAM families wouldn't be complete without a little drama, a few tears and lots of laughs. This was a beautifully written story of two best friends finally getting married with lots of cameos from our favorite charactets. Plus an intriguing introduction to the next generation of BAM! I can not wait for more books in this series!!

I had a love/hate relationship with the last Vested Interest book since, while the book was absolutely amazing, I was so sad to leave that series behind. Over the course of that series, I really felt like I had become part of the BAM family but when the extended epilogue came out, I was so hopeful that the next generation might start getting their HEA.
This Christmas novella is the perfect bridge between BAM and ABC Corp. I can barely contain my excitement for this new series. Brayden and Addison are seriously #goals!! I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face the entire time I was reading this. Some parts made me sob like a baby and others made me laugh so hard.
I’m going to be counting down the days until I can get more ABC books!!

Oh my heart! This book was a perma-smile, happy tears, made my heart so full type of read. ALL the characters hold a special place in my heart. Melanie Moreland delivers such a memorable read that will stay with you for a long time. Merry Vested Wedding gives us our Vested Interest & The Contract Series fix and introduces us to the second generation. I highly suggest reading the Vested Interest series prior to reading this book but it isn’t necessary. A heart-warming five plus star gift from Melanie Moreland!

I got the chills listening to this audio which is funny because it also kept me warm and gave me all the fuzzies. I have so much love for the characters of this series and revisit them often but hearing a new audiobook with the majority of my MM fave characters filled my heart with so much joy. John and Maxine can do no wrong when it comes to their performance. They truly made this one of my top faves of theirs. Actually, every book this duo narrates become a top fave of mine. This story is just so full of emotions and I felt every single one with their narrating. They always do such a fabulous job and this one really hit me in my feels.

Every once in a while, if your lucky, an author will create a series that touches you on so many levels that you feel as though you are coming home. To me that author is Melanie Moreland and the men and women of BAM is one such series and now we have the beginning of the next generation and I am beyond excited.
To fully enjoy this book, I highly recommend that you read the books in The Vested Interest series first, otherwise you will not appreciate this story as much as you should. I love a wedding, add in that it is just before Christmas and is about the next generation of one of my favourite series and I was so ready to dive in.
For Brayden (Bray) Riley and Addison (Addi) Ridge their wedding is the stuff of dreams. Having been in love for years and best friends since they learnt to walk , Bray and Addi were destined to be, two halves of a whole.
I couldn’t wait to read this book, it’s like coming home to family when I pick up a book with these characters. I truly felt as though I was a guest at their wedding and it added an additional layer to my enjoyment of the story. This was a heart warming book that brought me to tears on occasion, a story with so much love for one another and family that you cannot help but become invested in their story.

It's time for a BAM (Vested Interest) wedding!! And during the holidays, which makes it even better. Brayden and Addison are ready for their big day, but first we're given some flashbacks to different moments of their relationship, from when they were still just friends, when they were in that first heady rush of new love, and then right before the big day. The whole family's there to send them off in style, but first Addison's beloved dad needs a bit before he sees his baby girl walk down the aisle to the man to whom he's entrusting his baby's care.
If you're a fan of the BAM crew, then this holiday wedding story will give you all the feels like it did for me. I loved it. There are cameos from every important character - the original men and their loves and their children. There are scenes with each couple, showing how in love they all still are, and there's even a leadup to the next story, which I can already tell is going to be awesome! And Bray and Addison come full circle, showing all their love for each other as they say I do in front of the whole family. Sweet, sexy, a little emotional - spot on for this BAM world.

Can’t rate enough, the emotions are running high with this read. Tears will be shed but they are ones of happiness!
Melanie gave me a touching heartfelt read that hit it out of the park. You felt each word and rejoiced in watching this all fall into place.
No drama, or over the top theatrics. It’s a feel good Christmas/Wedding read. The chemistry between Addie and Brayden’s love is one you dream about. The bonds were set when they were born. There parents are best friends m, there’s a history here filled with love, laughter and Family.
A beautiful read that’ll have feeling good.

A super sweet, super cute insight into the world of BAM, viewed through the eyes of the next generation. Merry Vested Wedding sees Brayden Riley and Addison Ridge get their happy ever after. Yes folks, that’s right, we’ve got Bentley’s little girl and Maddox’s little boy all grown up and falling in love, and it was wonderful. We get to see snippets of them growing up, along with snippets of their current life with all the BAM and ABC crew, and if you’re a long time fan of this family then this is a definite must read. I might even go as far as to say this story is one of my most favourites. Yes it can possibly be read as a standalone, it is the next generation after all, but I think it would be enjoyed more if you knew the back story from this wonderful group of friends. Wonderful characters, story and writing, a completely angst free romance, I was completely blissed out. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

My emotions were destined to be invested in the Vested Interest series. It was Richard and Katherine that helped me rediscover author Melanie Moreland. Bentley, Aiden, Maddox and Reid made complicated sexy. Van, Halton and Sandy kept the mystery alive and the feelings flowing. The one constant is that something beautiful came out of heartache. Through the rain of pain, a family of the heart was born. So with that in mind a Merry Vested Wedding keeps the legacy alive. Brayden and Addison are a bittersweet reminder that love and family is not always a blood tie, but an emotional one. Moreland never misses the mark when it comes to romance.

Melanie Moreland brought it ALL with this novella. Teasers for a new series to come in 2021, angst, LOVE, family, all the christmasy feels and togetherness.
The story is told in two parts. Part One is all about Brayden Riley and Addison Ridge’s wedding. The two have been best friends their whole lives growing up together. They have been in love since they were 16 and it now time for their wedding. A Christmas Wedding! It was breathtaking and beautiful and such a magical day!
The second part takes place on Christmas Day, three days after the wedding and we get to see how Bentley and Maddox are handling their babies getting wed to one another and there is also a surprise guest that brings a ton drama with her and it was just the beginning, as her story will continue in My Saving Grace, coming in February and I cannot wait!

A Merry Vested Christmas is filled with so much, blasts from the past, glimpses into the future, love and laughs!
Friends since childhood Brayden and Allison are getting married joining families that have always been families in spirit.
There’s no mistaken the love between these two it was written that well!
I loved watching the usually Bentley struggle to let go of his daughter and the love Maddox shows his son. Truly one thing you never doubt in any of these books is the love they have for one and other.
The little twist that will have to begging for an early release of the next book was just what every story should have.
Loved all the words and feelings and visiting old friends.

A Melanie Moreland Christmas is my favorite kind of holiday. The BAM boys are silver foxes with rough edges but melt into puddles for their kids. The entire novella was jam-packed with love, smoldering heat, and holiday spirit with the perfect lead into Grace and Jaxson's story. I loved every minute of it.

I always love reading books from this author as I love her style of writing. This festive romance is a great addition to the Vested Interest Series and is a awesome read. This series has moved on and all the characters have now become the next generation. The family is such a great support network and they are even more supportive of the kids and this is great to see. The BAM guys are all grown up and have families of there own and now it the wedding of Addison and Brayden. They have known each other a really log time since they were children and this is a real friends to lovers romance. Addison is such a beautiful and independent woman and is following the path her father took. Brayden is such an amazing guy that you will just love and they are amazing together and these two were always meant to be, the love that they have is so strong and you cant take your eyes from them.
This book was a quick cute,sweet read that was very enjoyable. I love how this author writes her characters and how the story flows throughout. MM just gave us more goodness with all of my favorite BAM boys and friends! The next generation!!! YESSSS!!! It makes me all so giddy to know we are getting more!!! We not only get to see them in their younger days in the Vested Interest series, we get to see bits and pieces them as amazing, wonderful, fun, loving parents to some great kids in this continuation.
A Merry Vested Wedding, follows Brayden(Maddox and Dee's son) and Addison's(Bentley and Emmy's daughter) story and leading up to their wedding. A romantic wedding and Christmas together. While the entire famfriends are close growing up, Brayden and Addison have such a strong bond, we get their back story and peeks at all the "kiddos" all grown up. This book just puts a smile on your face seeing everyone from past books come together, still sooo close and the friendship/love for each other is so strong. I loved these two together, strong characters, so much love and we get teases of the next book, and I CAN'T WAIT! I do suggest reading the Vested Interest series and The Contract books. It will all click and its soooo much more enjoyable knowing the backstory, their personalities and how everyone is intertwined. Its soooo worth binging!
