Charlie Beck is the Chicken King of Adams. I'm... well... I'm just Missy Clark, King, or I mean, Queen of nothing but sassy one-liners and malaphors.
It's not "rocket surgery" to see that Charlie and I are on different paths in life. He's got the whole world in the palm of his hand, and I barely know what I'm doing ten minutes from now, let alone for the rest of my life.
So, when two pink lines change everything, I do the only thing that makes sense. RUN!
That is until Charlie Beck catches up to me, and he has something to say...
Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Winter Travers is a devoted wife, mother, and aunt turned author who was born and raised in Wisconsin. After a brief stint in South Carolina following her heart to chase the man who is now her hubby, they retreated back up North to the changing seasons, and to the place they now call home. Winter spends her days writing happily ever afters, and her nights being a karate mom hauling her son to practices and tournaments. She also has an addiction to anything MC related, puppies, and baking.
Such a cute book! I did want to shake Missy for a bit their. Charlie is such a sweetheart. Love how he is with Missy. Oh and to listen to missy talk! Oh my goodness it’s so funny. I can’t say much without giving away the book but I loved it!!
'Eres mía, Missy, y se lo diré a todos los que conozca. No importa si les importa o no. Tú, Bandit y Nugget son míos'.

Charlie Beck says I am his de Winter Travers Serie He Says libro 2
Argumento:
Amé a bandit!
Loved this laugh-out-loud story Missy was a blast she is fun and quirky and a sweetheart of a character and has a language of her own.
Missy was a fun character she was so sweet kind and loving person who was missing the man she had come to love. She nursing a broken heart while keeping secrets. She is an emotional wreck but, finds a new friend to confide in while she navigates heartbreak and what fate has in store for her next.
Charlie Beck is an overall good guy who made a huge mistake of letting Missy go he misses her fiercely and vows to do everything and anything he can to win the woman back and beg for her forgiveness. Charlie is a bit of a workaholic whereas Missy is more carefree and just the kind of woman he needs to remind him of the pleasures life has to offer and make the time to enjoy them.
Charlie has his work cut out for him Missy will give him a run for his money she will make him squirm and work for it yet her heart has not stopped loving him. The characters are great they are a lot of fun the perfect mix for lasting friendships.
Loved that the story was heartfelt, had witty banter filled with humor, and quirky characters, and was all about second chances, forgiveness, blessings, surprises love, and beautiful friendships. Charlie and Missy make a beautiful couple their chemistry is awesome and she makes his life fun and interesting even a bit chaotic making him love her even more. Loved the story from cover to cover beautifully written and made you smile and laugh throughout it.
Oh My Gosh… This book was a laugh a minute. After meeting Missy and Charlie in book 1 of the series, I just knew it would be hilarious and Ms. Travers didn’t disappoint. Missy is a quirky, funny woman who can zing out a Malaphor at the drop of a hat. You know, run two idioms/cliches together to the point you have to really stop and think to know what the heck she is saying. Well that is everyone but Charlie; the love of her life that broke up with her because he was too stressed out about his restaurant’s regrand opening. He always got her one-liners. But now she is sad, alone and hiding from everyone in their quaint little town. But that could be more because the week she was dumped she found out she’s pregnant. So now what?
This is a great RomCom that you just have to read to appreciate. I highly recommend it and book 1, Wilder Presley Says He Loves Me. While both books can be read as standalones, the characters do overlap so reading them in order will definitely enhance your reading experience. Grab them up asap and enjoy. As for this reader she can’t wait for book 3 in the He Says Series.
I don't even know if I didn't like the story in itself or the writing but overall it was really disappointing. The story starts with the MC already broken up, he broke it off because he thought he wasn't good enough for her/he was starting a business and he was so overwhelmed and stressed he thought he was not commited enough and a distraction... kinda lame but okay. And after the breakup she finds out she's pregnant but didn't want to tell him cause he broke up with her. She tries go avoid him (in a small town may I add) but her best friend is ALWAYS tricking them with ridiculous escamotages so that they can talk... ABOUT WHAT? THE BREAKUP? HELLO HE BROKE HER HEART. Anyway, have I mention that their relationship was what they called "casual" but apparently they were in love with each other? 🙄 Idk if I was too tired but I was having problem reading this book (120 pages) the writing was not smooth imo and there were too many malaphors... I get that the FMC's whole personality depended on that but arghh too much. The only thing I really loved was Bandit, her cute doggie ❤️

Charlie broke Missy's heart when he broke off, they're supposedly casual relationship but for Missy it was not casual. He felt he could not give her the time she needed while he was trying to get his restaurant open but now that she is no longer in his life and seems to be popping up everywhere he is he knows he made a huge mistake. What can Charlie do now that Missy wants nothing to do with him and is hiding a secret even from her best friend? I absolutely love this series! It just continues from the first book in this series where we were first introduced to Missy, and I absolutely love this girl. This is definitely a book not to be missed, it can be read as a standalone, but I would very much encourage readers to read the first book in the series; Wilder Presley Says He Loves Me. So if you want a funny, romantic, and malaphors filled story this is the book for you, me I know I loved it!!
This story starts out with Missy & Charlie broken up, and she's still not over it since he was the one who ended them. Things get more complicated when the stick turns positive, and she wasn't telling him though she would have since he would find out anyway since they both live in the same small town. Charlie has finally figured out he made a mistake breaking up with Missy as he's not over her either but she's not giving an inch when it comes to him so will they finally have a sit down to figure things out?! This series is absolutely hilarious & all the stories (including this one) kept me laughing cover to cover as the supporting cast is entertaining as all hell. The banter is witty throughout and I wish this group were my friends LOL! Everyone needs Charlie Beck Says I'm His (and the rest of the He Says series) in their lives, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Charlie Beck Says I'm His by Winter Travers 9/1/23 Pub date 8/1/23 4 stars Missy & Charlie
They'd been "hooking up" for years but both said they didn't want to have a commitment. Still, she was surprised when It ended the same day she got her second surprise. After confirmation, she had to hide her condition, In this small town if anyone knew everyone would know.
This a cute romcom with friends in a small town hoping to keep secrets --haha--. Missy's bestie is her dog--well and Shelby from the first book in the series. You'll fall for her adorable pup and love all their friends. Missy has a little quirk that will keep you smiling. Will it help her deal with her secret? Will her life change?
Charlie Beck Says I'm His is the second book in this series and one that I am totally falling in love with. The witty banter between the characters is hilarious and will have you smiling right to the very end. Missy is such a strong character and one filled with determination even though her heart is breaking. Charlie is overwhelmed and unsure how to make right the wrong he did both himself and Missy. Their story is captivating, enchanting and filled with passion and entertainment. The writer ensures that there is no way that you can't fall in love with each and every character from this series.
Winter has done it again with Charlie Beck Says I’m His!! I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting. Missy has been avoiding Charlie since the break up. However with her secret she’s not going to be able to avoid him for much longer. At the reopening of the restaurant they see each other for the first time in months and he realizes how much he misses her. Shelby wants her friend to be happy again and takes matters into her own hands and pushes them together. Between the malaphors and witty banter you’ll be drawn into Charlie and Missy’s story. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
A man, a woman, a pregnancy, chicken, biscuits, bounce houses.. need I say more? Missy is hilarious and ready to move to Alaska instead of running into her ex again. Charlie, thought it was best to break things off when he couldn't give 100% of his attention. Then you have a match maker who keep tossing them together, will they break? Or will a move finally happen.
Winter is amazing at telling a story that will both touch your heart and make you pee your pants. This one definitely touches the heart with some laughs in there as well. As the 2nd book in the "He Says" series it fits right in. Can't wait for more!
This is the second. They should be read in order for a better experience. Missy and Charlie have been casually seeing each other. When he takes over the family chicken restaurant, he breaks things off because he is under a lot of stress. Missy didn’t realize how much she loved him until he broke things off. Charlie misses Missy and wants her back but worries that he isn’t good enough for her. Missy discovers she is pregnant not long after and doesn’t know what to do. She feels like she has to go through it all alone. If one person in this small town finds out everyone will know. Will Charlie and Missy find a way back to each other? How will Charlie react when he finds out he is going to be a daddy? This book starts just a little bit after the first one ends. I love Missy and her crazy malaphors. I love that Shelby Lyn and Wilder as active in this book as well. Characters keep getting added in and I am here for it. I can’t wait to read the next book. Wonderful job once again Winter.
Although Missy may have thought her relationship with Charlie wasn’t serious, she felt much different when he ended it. Now she is not only dealing with a broken heart but deciding if she should tell him she is pregnant or leaving before he realizes it.
With competition coming to town Charlie believes he needs to focus on his business and can’t give Missy what she needs but their matchmaking friends don’t agree.
Missy had such a fun way of communicating which made her interactions with others humorous especially when combined with the small-town vibe.
This is the second book in this incredible series, and this is Charlie and Missy’s story. Charlie breaks up with Missy when he is stressed out by the grand opening of his restaurant, while Missy is sassy, quirky, funny, and the queen of malaphors. This is a well written easy to read, emotionally charged story, with humor, witty banter, second chances, and love, which leads to an entertaining, fun, sweet, small-town romance. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
How much do I love this series?!? Oh so much!! Missy is a hoot and Charlie is great but they just need to get on the same page. The story flowed well, it's a quick read with laughs, smiles, and is just a great feel good story. These two have great friends in this small town and I am looking forward to the next book in the series!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Charlie Beck Says I'm His by W. Travers is the second book in the He Says Series. This is an interconnected stand-alone with cross-overs to the first book. Missy and Charlie were just broke up when she discovers a little secret that'll be little anylonger. Butr she's still very hurt from the break-up Charlie put her through. An hilarious rom/com with a heroine that's pretty annouing with her mix ups, but in a cute way. 4 beautiful stars.
The second in the novella He Says series, this is the perfect lunch time read! We are getting some really great drama, and quite a few laughs. Missy and Charlie broke up in book one, and now we are seeing the after math, and the regret that one of them has for the breakup. Can the two find their way back to each other or will Missy's threats of leaving for Alaska become fact? I give this cute story 5 stars.
Missy is a strong independent woman that is funny and quirky. She also lives in a small town. She has a great support team and has a huge secret. Charlie beck broke her heart but now he’s home. She is avoiding him like the plague until she can’t anymore. The secret is out and the whole world will know and I’m so happy!!!! I can’t wait for the next one!!
Alright, Missy & Charlie are cute! However, they do not get a lot of page time together in this story. I haven't read the first book, and that may have been a mistake. We meet them in that book & presumably, that background would help here. Still, I would've like more of them together.
There is also an adorable scene-stealing dog, and I did enjoy the characters & interactions!
Absolutely loved this story. It was all about fun and sweetness. I loved that it was straight up PG. Loved Bandit. Missy is my favorite character of this series with her malaphors and one liners.. Her and Alice need to get together they would rock a story...hint hint Winter. Great story and I cant wait to read about Blake and Shannon. Happy Reading 📚
I received this book as an arc, and I have to say that this was a pleasant surprise. I have read many of Winter Tavers' books, but I am typically a fan of her grittier MC romances. This book was a fun, quick, light-hearted read that I really enjoyed. The characters were likeable, and the story was very relateable. Thankfully, I did not need to read the first book in the series to follow along.
Before I knew Missy was book 2, I was DYING for more of her! So I'm glad I got to read her and Charlie's story! I knew there HAD to be more to the situationship or whatever with Charlie and Missy. And holy surprise pregnancy! Like being pregnant in a small town is going to be a secret? HA! No way! But that over the top, "you're mine" thing? Whew!!!
A romantic-comedy featuring a stressed-out guy, a newly pregnant lady and a scene-stealing pooch. While all may not be right in the world, anyone who can pop out a quip at a moment's notice has my attention.
I loved her quirky sayings. There were times I had to re-read what she said and I laughed my butt off. I couldn't be happier that Charlie pulled his head out of his butt. I certainly was not expecting the ending.
Love this series Love these friends Missy and Charlies 2nd chance Intense emotional heartstopping love story All the feels Ready for more Need Shannon and Blake
