The time for wedding bells to ring has arrived in Eternal Dominion.
Xeal must make his final preparations for what is sure to be a unique experience in marrying three princesses from very different backgrounds and families, as there will be no going back once it is done! Especially with three more waiting brides and the fulfillment of their duties as nobles to take care of after the wedding.
As a child I did not read unless Pokémon cards count. It wasn’t until middle school when my mother played a trick on me, she got me entranced in the Harry Potter books. She would read the first few to me before switching to reading me a chapter and leaving the book out for me to read if I wanted more. Thus started my love of reading, at least in part. I still didn’t go out of my way to find books to read and after high school I could count on one hand how many books I would read each year. Life continued like this for over five years before I was hooked on an anime and searched out its light novel. This led to the phase where I was reading at least a couple books a month to now where I have gone through over 300 books in the last year.
Now I am putting my own work in to the world while following my own mantra. To write for yourself or you will never love what you write. When I first started to put my ideas into words I was surprised to find that those I shared it with loved it. This led me on to the road of putting out my own book for the world to see. Thank you to everyone who has or will help and support me in making this dream a reality.
Every book, until now, has been fight after fight to get better, stronger, smarter, etc. This book was about a marathon wedding day with 3 full weddings for Xeal, plus 3 more weddings all in game. Then add to it the 5 women he's living with in real time, ya a bit confusing. Ok. Sure, at the end is some fighting, but I'm ready to quit the series now!
I have say the series started well, but collapsed as it went along. One, of the things I disliked the most was turning the books into one of those harem series. Then making the two main women into thoughtless and unhelpful anchors around the neck of the main character. Lastly, making the mc into weak, gullible, easy to manipulate person whenever any women shows a genuine interest in him.
Adding a Harem for no good reason has turn a number of good stories into trash, independent author please stop. Adding insignificant characters that take up large parts of the book is annoying, most readers end up skipping alot of the book to get past those annoying chapters and miss half the book.
The women portrayed so far don't seem to care much about what the mc actually wants. For example, he tells them every other page he does not want a bunch of women and they just don't seem to care. They actively, work behind his back to push more women on him. He tells them he want to focus on building his business, they forget their birth control and ask to stop spending so much time on the business that he explains is important to him. They want to make sure he has time for them but keep pushing more women on him that they have to share his time with. The one time he asked them to be helpful they send him to start dating an underage girl that he has no interest in. These women who never ask or consider his opinion on anything get upset when buys them a reasonable gift without asking them first. Lastly, not one women has done anything remotely romantic or thoughtful for him, they didn't even get him Christmas present that took into account his likes and dislike. Worst and useless harem ever.
Building a character who is supposed to be smart and savvy business man taking the world by storm is contradictory to a character that contemplates to any deals that adds on another wife when you so clearly don't want one.
I believe this book would be better received if it was to cut out all relationship content and focus on the gaming aspect.
Really like the series but this was least favorite of the series. New was coming and glad all the wedding happen in just one book. Now can focus on future books
There was no drama, this book could have been one page. He married everyone, New King and queen, some wives fell pregnant. Small act of sabotage in RL. It was all a bit dull, and it's killing the series for me. The last book was the same.
It was a necessary step in the plot, but there was a lot of weddings and any fighting seemed a little forced. Other than that I am still looking forward to the next book.
Not one of my favorites in that series but still a great read. This one has much more story building and less progression. We some some forward movement for sure but I’m missing the power climb. The author acknowledged this in the afterword and that is one of the reasons I like him so much lol.
This story of a guy who gets a do over as his eighteen year old self was a very interesting entertaining series. It’s very hard to believe as women are very competitive, yet he is somehow getting them to behave as sister wives. Can’t wait to see how he handles fatherhood.
This book is all about the main characters marriages. This one has a lot of slice of life content. Based on the authors note though, the next book should have some more action.
A lot of continuation with some new twists and turns. I really liked how well written this book was with a strong storyline and continuation of many plots. An overall great and amazing litrpg seeries.
Another great part of alex /xeal adventure more female stuff happening in this one marriage and all those slice of life things that seem to get in the way of everything, i enjoyed it and cannot wait for the next book in this series.
Amazing series, unique story ,the peak of engaging entertainment.
These stories are fresh. The people in the tale are the fleshed out characters feel ing like you are part of their lives. Mr Bern needs to write more. Thank you for a Great read.
Looks like you did it again. I love the whole series! The best part for me is that you are sharing both in and out of the game. Thanks for sharing your imagination!
I find this book is a good read. It also runs into to many words to describe what is happening. The author is learning and getting better in his word skills.
I understand the author was trying to push along the relationships, to get to the next point and the idea of him getting into politics so that his wives in the game might be able to become Androids and reality, and they could all spend time together in both worlds, is really interesting and good for the long-term health of the finale. But this book really really drug on
We basically got the exact same massive chapter three times in a row, then we got it a fourth time. I understand wanting to give every wife for their screen time. But we're well past the point where anybody can reasonably be expected to keep track of all of them, especially if we're not reading the books all in one go, but as they released in months and months apart. So it just felt like reading the same thing repeatedly
There is very little progress with the guild beyond the typical "I went and did guild paperwork for the rest of the night"
That is getting really frustrating to read. If the main character is just going to become a paper pushing ceo, the story is going to die immediately for me. So I really hope that doesn't happen
In reality it was okay. Being whole video game organization sending people into his house to destroy his house, it's bordering on ridiculous. But you set up the president for it much earlier so whatever. The fact that he doesn't have full-time security guards and security systems in place to prevent that is also ridiculous. Especially since the president for the situation was set up in the first chapter of the first book
It's dumb that he doesn't have permanent bodyguards. That there's just the three women that came with kate. He's wealthy high influence individual and public persona, he would have an entire security theme at all times
Long story short, the story is getting predictable, and repetitive. And I don't see that changing unless there are some massive time skips and power jumps very soon. Or some crazy development in the real world, like him suddenly realizing that being in a house at 30 people, means you probably needs full-term staff of security guards personnel and training. Not just aikido he's in f****** colorado. Everybody in Colorado has a gun
I'm ranting because I like the story a lot, and I can see it going one of two ways at this point. Because I read 1,000 books a year, and it always happens
Either the next three books are going to be similar to this one, where it's about 5% action, 40% paperwork, 60% relationships not developing. At which point I'm going to lose all faith in the author's ability to continue his story, drop this one and probably not pick up his next one
Or he's going to drastically increase the pacing of the story, so actions actually develop much much more quickly, and consequences are resolved much more quickly. Not just seen. In which case I'll be like okay. Maybe this author is smart enough to realize that milking his first hit series for every single cent, at the expense of the quality of the story is a terrible decision long-term for his personal success. Let's see what else he's got
Xeal continues to grow fueled by his insider knowledge , not particularly exciting as you know he will succeed , as with every thing in ED nobody dies or even gets hurt ,all Xeals guild mates ,young nobles and wives pass every nightmare challenge with ease , most of this episode entails endless descriptions of wedding attire , speeches and kisses from his women , it's mills & boon meets teen fiction and red shirts with blue ties kinda dress sense. Even his obsession with Abysses End only gets a quick mention and Daryu (no idea who he is) keeps cropping up.
Xeal improves his life by getting married in his new life with 6 wives in ED .
Xeal keeps getting himself into situations that leader's of different nations have tried or have successfully handled Xeal with another bride to be while attempting to procure quest completion for Prince Victor . With ever expanding brides to be total of 6 in ED . 4 girlfriends in reality . Xeal ends up marrying all 6 brides to be , an Prince Victor ends up marrying as well just one before being crowned king of Nium . recommend reading excellent series .
There is nothing bad here, but also nothing good. The overall lack of a point renders this all moot. The going back in time, the senseless harem aspect, the unreasonable economic impact of a game, none of this is ever given a cause. While any of it is a valid plot point, all of it without cause is what makes the series senseless.
While I normally have no interest in books withharem building, these ate good enough that I just sit back and enjoy the ride. This has become one of my favorite series and I look forward to the next.
All weddings and politics, honeymoons, and flowers. This one took a hard left from the rest. He should have cut this one in half. Added the weddings to book 10 and the rest to book 12. Not unwilling to keep reading but it was bad…
This book was a good balance of harem and adventure. It's strange that the book about the marriages has a healthier balance of relationship to adventure than some of the other books
