The Seasons Change #2

Stone Cold Notes

Rate this book
They called him Stone Cold.

Once upon a time, I called him my pen pal.

When I wrote to Callum Rose five years ago, I never expected a response. He was an up and coming rock star, afterall, and I was just a shy seventeen-year-old. He did write back though, and through hundreds of emails, we became best friends.

Until the day we unknowingly broke each other’s heart.

It’s been three years since our last email. I’m all grown up with a new job at Good Music, and finally have my act together. But then Callum Rose walks in the door, and I’m instantly thrown back to the days when he meant everything to me.

The thing is...he doesn’t know who I am. He’s never seen my face. And this Callum Rose lives up to his stone cold reputation.

That is, until one night, he sees me in another man’s arms, and decides to claim me. Then there is nothing cold about him.

Callum becomes a man on fire for me, introverted, awkward, chubby Wren Anderson. He’s obsessive, possessive, and kind of stalker-y—and I like it...a little too much. The problem is, he still doesn’t know I’m the girl who walked away from him or the reason behind it, and I’m afraid when he finds out, I’ll be right back in the cold again.

Pen pals. A quiet and broody rock star. A single mom. This book was near perfect for me! Stone Cold Notes is my third book by Julia Wolf and definitely my favorite I’ve read so far. I read this book in less than 24 hours because I couldn’t put it down. It was that good for me.

Wren just got a new job as a receptionist at a record label. On of the bands on that table is The Seasons Chance. TSC has a bass player named Callum Rose who though Wren has never ‘met’, she knows better than anyone else. Wren and Callum were penpals and exchanged emails for years. He became her best friend, and he hers, until the email stopped.

One of my favorite things about this book were the emails throughout the story that were written before they met. Callum was so encouraging to Wren as she was going through hard things, and she was a friend to him when he desperately needed one.
Don’t hid from me. Give me all the ugly. I’ll take it and carry it for you.
I’m proud of you. Don’t shrink. No matter what happened, don’t shrink.
Callum

I wasn’t quite sure what happened between these two, but I was dying to find out. I loved watching how all of it unfolded.

Wren and Callum are both on the shy side, but they bring out the best in each other and they’re completely comfortable with one another in a way they’re not around most people. This book (mostly the hero) isn’t going to work for everyone, but it really really worked for me. Callum is shy and sweet, but he’s also a bit of a possessive/jealous/semi-stalker (not a creepy way) hero. But I truly adored Callum. I loved him with Wren and I loved him with Wren’s son, Ezra.

Julia Wolf is an author I’d never heard of until earlier this year but I’m so glad I found her. After loving this book so much, I’m definitely going to be checking out more of her back list!

DNF @ 15% - H has voyeur fetish and lets the h go on a date with his friend… someone she barely knows… he takes her to a sex party where they watch people have sex and she gets turned on and she tells this complete stranger intimate things about herself. It’s super cringe. I can see where this is heading…. Mind you this is the very beginning of the book. This scene belongs in the middle, with the H (not his friend), after they are already intimate (to demonstrate he can be with the h without his kink and so there’s a base level of trust already) … not with his friend who she doesn’t even know. Who would do that?? And if the tables were turned and the H was with the h’s friend and being intimate with her, in front of the h, everyone would be priming their tiki torches and grabbing their pitchforks.

Yuck.

All I see in this guy’s future is a porn addiction the heroine will have to suffer through… this is why I only like kinks that are specific and exclusive to the relationship between the MCs 🤷🏼‍♀️

AND word on the street is that she runs off and has a ONS and has a baby with another man. And she names the baby after the hero. 👀👀👀👀. WTF - Nerp. If the hero is such an obsessed stalker, why didn’t he prevent another man FROM IMPREGNATING HIS GIRL????

Not.
For.
Me.

4.5 swoony stars

There were so many instances were I was absolutely swooning over what Callum would do for Wren, but there were times I felt a little *uncomfy* 😅😬.

Wren and Callum were pen pals for a long time. Wren, being a thick/curvy not-gorgeous girl, didn’t think Callum would ever respond to her emails since he’s a part of The Seasons Change- a growing popular music group (he’s the bass). But he did. Callum, who’s used to being quiet and has lead an unconventional life, found himself intrigued by the awkward-yet-refreshing 17-almost-18-year old. And thus began a wonderful friendship between pen pals. Until Callum asks for Wren to show up at one of his gigs… and she leaves him hanging 😬, effectively ending their friendship 😏.

5 years pass and Wren gets a new job, a receptionist where The Seasons Change produces music. As soon as she sees Callum, old feelings she thought were buried resurface, and Callum finds himself attracted to her. When one of my band mates asks her to a party, Callum finally realizes he wants her for himself, and no one’s gonna have her 😈.

What I liked/loved-(possible spoilers)
—the smexx… I mean, I mean, the intimacy between Wren and Callum 😅😬. Nah. I’m not gonna lie. I like the dirty smexx. Oh LAWD. The tension. The chemistry. The volume of it 🔥🥵. It’s on the medium slow burn side (full smex at about 52%), but good gawd, these two are insatiable after. The stamina in Callum🔥… and poor Wren’s v😅😬👀. No wonder she gets sore 😂 but such a good reason to BE sore 😉💦

—His JP side. Sigh. I love it when the H’s willing to b€at up any man that does his woman wrong, and Callum does this in spades (it helps that he does Krav Maga 😉💅 so he’s a fighter 🥵)

—Callum is ALL about Wren. There is absolutely no ow anywhere. Yes, he’s a V, so he’s been dedicated and celibate for her 🥺❤️. He’ll do anything for her, which leads me to…

—The swooniness throughout the book. This man will do whatever it takes to make sure she’s okay.

—After all these years wasted, he’s not gonna be apart from her anymore. She might be upset or mad, but he’ll find a way to fix it. She might try to ask for space, but he’s not gonna give it to her 😅😈. He will bulldoze his way into any situation, and I can admire that 😉👀

—The pureness of their love. Sigh. The darn epilogue had me bawling 🥰🥺❤️. Callum saying he’ll be the tree protecting Wren was EVERYTHING (and helped raise the star rating for me). IYKYK

—The penpal relationship. ERMAGOD. Their emails were so cute, so organic, so beautiful. Getting to know them this way was amazing! Gah. I loved the flashbacks to the emails, even when things went sour 🥺

—The stalking/spying aspect. OH YES 😈👏🏻 I love this in my books! And Callum has been watching her 👀

Things I didn’t like
—The voyeurism aspect. Ugh. I’m not a fan of this type of book anymore (Sonia from years ago liked BDSM type of books that have this element a lot… not 2022 Sonia 😬). I felt a little uncomfy when Wren, Callum, and Adam (OM1) go to the smex party and Adam basically invites Wren there so Callum could watch them have smex (Adam likes to have people watch him with girls and Callum’s one of his usual voyeur audience members 😐). Luckily, Callum wakes the f up, but come on! Before it began though, Adam asks Wren if she likes to watch (which she apparently does but didn’t know she did until then). This kind of gets fixed once Wren and Callum are together cause Callum likes to watch Wren… but they’ll still visit smex clubs in the future since they both have this kink. We only see them do it once in the book

—Callum not acting sooner. I understood his hesitation with everything that went down, but seeing how JP he is, I don’t know why he waited so long

Overall, I really enjoyed it ❤️. I loooved everything about it except for that ^^

⚠️safety squad⚠️
-no cheating/sharing/owd
-the H likes to watch OM1 f girls (voyeur). I totally cringed during this part 🥴😬. No judgement but it’s just not MY type of flavor
-praise kink
-OM-OM1 kisses h (before h and H do anything). The H grabs her from him and then proceeds to dry hump them both to an O 👀. OM2 is a neighborhood man who won’t leave the h alone. When she’s out with friends, he corners her and grabs her @$$; the H takes care of him 💅💁🏻‍♀️. I love seeing men fight 😈. OM3 flirts with h at the smex club. The H takes care of him too 💁🏻‍♀️.
-the h gets hurt; the H takes care of the people responsible
-virgin H/h has had sex once (and got pregnant)
-no c0nd0ms/IUD
-HEA/epilogue (2 years later)

Who doesn’t want a hero that soooo obsessed and soooo in love with the heroine😍😍😍 YES. SOOOO. Because the hero is insanely in love and obsessed with the heroine like no other. YES THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER FOR ME. This really made me aweee so many times I lost count🥺🥺🥺 My kind of book and this for sure really made me smile so many times🥺🥺🥺 AUTHOR I’M SO HAPPY TO READ YOUR BOOK BECAUSE NOW I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS TYPE OF HEROES AND STORIES YOU WRITES🥺🥺🥺☺️☺️

REMINDER:
This book is about a hero that is not your normal cold hearted guy, this hero is very different in a very amazing way to me because I like heroes like this tbh😛 and he’s very cold person. Cold but not too cold... He is introvert and like to be alone and minding his own business.

“I’m not good with people. Or words.”

He talks when its very important situation or to his family or to his band and everyone who works for him. He doesn’t go out talking to strangers. Like I said, he likes to keep things to himself.

“I had no interest in talking to strangers when the only thing we had in common was their love for my music. I appreciate their existence.... From a distance.”

“I dismiss everyone. Stone cold remember?”

Even when the hero bring the heroine to the parties he have with his friends, the hero never talks more to his own friends and only letting the heroine talks to them😆😆😆

He said that was his condition and sickness, but to me a person like that is very unique and amazing. He have his own world, as long he is doing good and did nothing wrong then thats good. And also the hero have this huge love obsession towards the heroine, he is so protective and sooo possessive to the heroine. So many scenes where the hero is so in love with the heroine like thats his breath. SO IF YOU DON’T LIKE THAT TYPE OF HERO, THEN PLEASE DON’T READ THIS OR DON’T BE NEGATIVE IF THE BOOK IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT.

The hero and heroine have been sending letters for few like 2/3 years (i forgot how long but it was between that) and then it stopped because of something that happened. Nothing bad though but it was just a big misunderstanding. And then they finally see each other 🥺🥺🥺🥺

“After so many notes passed back and forth between us, being in the same room was still a novelty. A addicting one.”

not for the first time though. Okay. Not gonna spill the big spoiler😆

‼️‼️‼️Both hero and heroine have been single when both are seeing each other physically so don’t worry.

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS A FAMOUS ROCK STAR. BUT THE HERO IS NOT A MANWHOR*.

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS A VIRGIN. The heroine is not a virgin.

Yes. You read that right!

“There’s no one else. There’s never been anyone else. Never really wanted to before you.”
“How can that be? You never had?”
“No, I’ve never.”

The heroine is not a virgin.

‼️‼️‼️NO GROUPIES AROUND WHEN THE HERO AND HEROINE ARE SEEING EACH OTHER. No crazy fans who is bothering the heroine or to the hero.

‼️‼️‼️SAFE SOOO ROMANTIC HOT LOVE STORY.

‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING.

‼️‼️‼️The heroine’s son is so adorable and funny🥺🥺🥺 Her son was cool too! He doesn’t get scared to horror stories or scary animals or dark places. Thats so cool😍

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS SEPARATION. The first separation (but at the time they only sending letters and not officially dating) last for 2/3 years and the heroine have a child with someone else but she was not married to him because it was a one night stand. after that the heroine never went on a date or touch someone else because she was pregnant and have a kid and busy with that. The hero never ever touch someone else when they were separated. The hero watch his best friend have s*x and go to s*x clubs but never touch anyone, he only watch and left.
“I’d never once wanted any of the women he’d fcked in front of me. I’d never touched them or even spoken to them.”

“But you go to s*x clubs. And s*x parties.”
“To watch. I don’t touch. I never have.”

The second separation (this is when they are dating for sure) it was for few days and of course both are very loyal.

‼️‼️‼️LOVE IN FIRST SIGHT.

“The first time I saw you, when I knew it was you, it clicked.”

‼️‼️‼️The chemistry is amazing between them and sooo romantic ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

‼️‼️‼️AS I SAID ABOVE. THE HERO IS VERY OTT LIKE SERIOUSLY OVER THE TOP POSSESSIVE ALPHA MALE. VERY PROTECTIVE AND SO OBSESSED WITH THE HEROINE. SOOO PROTECTIVE.

“I had never hurt a woman. I had never dumped, cheated, or misused them.”

The minute the hero and heroine is officially dating, the hero always make sure the heroine have a driver to pick her up and drive her. Like every single freakin day. The hero make sure that happens and not the heroine.

“Then don’t ask me to stop worryin’ about you. I’m going to. And I’m going to keep sendin’ a car to take you to work, so don’t fight me.”

When the hero dropped her off to her house, the hero make sure the heroine is safe and secure inside her room and when he see the light of her room is turn on, he will go. Thats how protective he is🥺🥺🥺

(My type of hero😙😙😙💗)

‼️‼️‼️LOCATION: NEW YORK.

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO ALWAYS SAYS TO THE HEROINE YOU ARE MINE. MINE. MINE.

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO WANTS THE HEROINE SOOOO BADLY... Like a breath, like a air. Like he can’t breath without the heroine.

Like the heroine is his ultimate drug lol.

“I’m not annoyed by your presence. And I may not be good with people, but I do think I’ve made it very obvious I like you. I’ve been stalking you.”

The hero is cold to everyone else but so soft to the heroine and her adorable son🥺🥺🥺

“I wonder if you know how incredibly creepy you sound.”
“It doesn’t bother me very much. I don’t talk like this with anyone else. Does it bother you?”

“I DON’T CARE WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF ME. EXCEPT YOU.”

“I hope you know I’m not going anywhere.”

“There’s no way I’m giving you up. No way.”

“I bet you’re imagining what the girl will look like.”
“No. I told you what I’m thinking about. You.”

“I can’t seem to go a day without seeing you anymore. I know its selfish since I’m infecting our time together, but I can’t stay away.”

When the heroine forgets to type XO to the hero, he calls her immediately and ask whats wrong and where’s his hugs and kisses 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺💜💜

When the hero have to do a tour, not world tour, he make sure to call and facetime with the heroine even when she just doing cleaning the house or watching tv. He waits till she fall asleep too in the phone. He wanted to hear her and be present with her🥺

When the heroine is worrying about something about him or their relationship, the hero always make sure to her that they are fine and so in love. He touch her and kissed her immediately no matter who’s watching or where they are. He never gets mad to the heroine if she was being like that.

‼️‼️‼️MANY JEALOUS SCENES FROM THE HERO. LITTLE FROM THE HEROINE. Little because she was worried when the hero never ever dated or holding someone else. She was worried because she thought the hero have someone else or someone else will take him away from her. I LOST COUNT ON HOW MANY TIMES THE HERO GOT JEALOUS BECAUSE ITS ALWAYS THERE 😆😆😆 The hero always have someone liking her or praising her because she is sweet and sexy.

“He should have been dead the second he looked at her. He never should have had the chance to touch her, least of all hurt her.”

“YOU WON’T HAVE HANDS IF I EVER SEE YOU TRY TO PUT THEM ON HER. YOU WON’T HAVE LEGS IF YOU EVER TRY TO WALK CLOSE TO HER. I WILL FEED YOUR TONGUE TO THE FERAL CATS WHO LIVE IN MY ALLEY IF I CATCH YOU TALKING TO HER. YOU HEAR ME?”

“YOU SEE HER, YOU TURN THE OTHER WAY. DO. YOU. HEAR. ME?”

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS TALKING ABOUT PAST PARTNER FROM THE HEROINE BUT ONLY ONCE AND NEVER MORE. THE HERO NEVER cause the heroine is his first girlfriend and he is a virgin lol. Who’s his going to talk about😆😆😆

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE IS A SWEET WOMAN🥺 She is not sassy though. The heroine is sweet, kind, cute and beautiful woman.

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS PUSHING AWAY FROM THE HEROINE AND HERO BUT NOT TOO MUCH OR TOO ANNOYING. Nope.

‼️‼️‼️NO DRAMA WITH OW. ONLY WITH OM BUT NOT TOO ANNOYING... other drama is about their family.

‼️‼️‼️TRIGGER: Violence, stalking (but the stalking is from the hero to the heroine).

‼️‼️‼️VERY HOT SMUT SCENES.... So hot

and freakin romantic lol.

‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING. Married and pregnant💜💜💜

👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽Thank you so much for reading my review❤️❤️ For you who loves my review and follow it, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I did not get paid or be told to do a review on a book. I’m here just to write review about a book so i can remember it. Its my honest opinion😚 I didn’t know at first people will find me and follow me and trust me to be honest, I was surprised myself to look at the notifications from people who reach out to me😆 So everything i write down here on a review is based on my personal opinion and based on my true writing. I DID NOT COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW OR WRITING SKILL because at first when i was using this app for one year i didn’t know how to scroll down on a book and see the reviews from others😂😅🤣 I know, silly me but hey I finally learned my lesson 😛😛😛 Thats why when people assume i copy someone’s review i was like what? Because at first i didn’t know how to use this app properly and i didn’t know how to open someone’s review because for a year i never follow someone or add friends or someone😂😂😂🤣 (I’m laughing so hard) 🤪 AND I NEVER COPY SOMEONE’S REVIEW EVER. IF I WRITE SOMETHING WRONG OR DOESN’T MAKE SENSE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND BE NICE OKAY. 👈🏽👈🏽👈🏽✋🏽✋🏽

I have a disclaimer down bellow if you have negative thoughts about my review😙😙😙

🌐🌐🌐➡️↘️⬇️➡️This is my own personal thoughts and opinion about the book so if thats not sit right with you or you feel I’m not being fair blablabla, please know that everybody in this world have their own different things that they like and don’t like. It may not be the same thing with you but thats okay because i am my own person and you cannot control me or tell me what to do. For example; i put ketchup (tomato sauce) on my fried chicken. You think that’s disgusting? For me its not and i’ve been eating it like that for many many years. You tell me to put another sauce and see if i like that better? I already did many many times in years but i still like the way i like it. It’s called differences between me and you and billions people in this world😊 be open minded😙 I respect people’s opinions about my opinions but in the end of the day if i say I don’t like it or i do like it, its up to me and its on me. And in the end of the day i always liked and show my respect to books and people’s opinions on books whenever that book is good or not good in my opinion 😊 Respect people’s opinions guys😙😙 I don’t want to write this down because its not really my thing to do it. To like address something like this when obviously i know the people who’s been reading my reviews many times and all the time, they are smart enough to understand and respect other people’s opinions no matter what their opinions on book or their point of view 😙😙 am i right? 💕 also there are people even though i already write “this book is different because i have my own taste of book” those people still comment my taste is this and that when HELLO… everybody have their own thoughts on books and what they want to read… why i read it then? I read it and give it a review because i have to read a book to give it a review… why not read the description book to understand before I’m going to read it? Hello just in case you haven’t notice, description books can be tricky because they write this amazing things about a book but turns out the story is so toxic. Maybe for me its toxic but not for you? YES HELLO THATS WHY US HUMAN BEING HAVE OUR DIFFERENCES, WHAT I LIKE IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU WILL LIKE IT AND EITHER WAY TOO. why i still write the review then if i just don’t like a book? Because I CAN and i want to, you cannot tell me what to do and not what to do🤪 if you still wants to be negative and be karens about my review on book after all of what i just write, i will never acknowledge you and simply ignore you because its not that hard🙏 I won’t respond to negativity comments🙏🏼🙏🏼 DON’T ASK ME AGAIN ABOUT WHY NOT RESPONDING TO YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENTS BECAUSE I ALREADY SAY IT HERE AND I WON’T BE EXPLAINING AGAIN BECAUSE WE’RE NOT CHILDREN SO ITS NOT HARD FOR YOU AN ADULT TO UNDERSTAND😌😌 YES MY REVIEW IS LONG BUT YOU READ IT ANYWAY AND ITS FINE ACTUALLY I CAN WRITE AS LONG AS I LIKE😎 YES MY GRAMMAR IS BAD SOMETIMES AND MAYBE ALL THE TIME BUT LUCKILY MANY PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I’M SAYING🤪 ⬅️↖️↕️⬅️↩️⤴️

Mixed feelings

Fantastic writing from Wolf, as always, but the hero wasn't a great fit for me and I had some definite issues with this. After an EXCELLENT first book in the series, I was so excited to dive into Callum's story. He's a silent, broody, rock star whose mysterious nature had me so intrigued. And he does make for quite an interesting character; I loved his hidden sweetness and how much he truly cares for our heroine, but... umm, yeah, he takes that love too far. He IS a full-on stalker in this, and I found him more than a little creepy. Once Wren became his girl, it was permanent for him, and I shudder to think what would've happened if she'd denied him.

The story follows Wren, a woman who is shy and insecure. There's only one man she's ever felt close to, and that's her former pen pal, Callum. Early in Callum's career, Wren sent him a letter, and the two bonded over their introverted tendencies. One letter became two until they became best friends with the hint of more, only for it all to crumble just as they were about to meet. Now, Wren finds herself working at the same place where Callum - now a rock star - is recording an album with his band. The quiet, intense Callum doesn't seem to like Wren that much, but he's definitely attracted. It's not long before Callum's intensity becomes intimidating for Wren, and they grow close in way she never anticipated.

I love the quality of Wolf's writing, and this one is as strong as ever in a lot of ways. The complex, nuanced characters are so compelling, and I loved the twists and turns in their backstory. I always love it when a couple meets through letters and emails first, so that part of the story was great. But, uh, Callum's desire to watch everything wasn't for me. Not only is he a stalker, but he's also into watching at sex parties, and the level of kink - especially so early in the story - wasn't my favorite. It happened SO early in the book that I really struggled to understand the connection in present day. It felt like neither Callum nor Wren had earned some of those moments, if that makes sense. Also, this is SUCH a departure from the first book in the series, tonally, that it was a little jarring to me. The first hero was literally a bodyguard keeping the heroine away from stalkers, etc, and then... yeah, lol. That's where I struggled a bit. But I think the book was well done in many aspects, and there are certainly going to be readers who love this. I'm definitely still invested in the series, though I'm kinda terrified of Adam's book.

Oh man, give me an unhinged, hates-everyone-but-her, stalker MMC and I’ll give you my heart. Toxic? Mayhaps. But this is fiction and fantasy, after all, so I own it. Loved this!!! Callum is the silent, brooding bassist from The Seasons Change, and I knew I would love his story. Wren is 17 when she emails Callum for the first time. She’s just seen the new indie band play, and she’s enthralled. She isn’t expecting much…but then he finally writes her back. And they begin a long distance, long term penpalship. They’re finally due to meet when she’s 19…but she never shows up. Instead, she ghosts Callum, and they spend three years with no contact. Until she lands a job at his record label and they finally come face to face. The only problem is that his band mate Adam sees her first.

Callum and Wren finally begin, in the most unconventional (and HOT) way ever, when Callum steals her right from Adam’s arms. It’s probably one of my favorite non-sex sex scenes ever, but I won’t spoil it. Wren thinks she’s on cloud 9, living a fantasy, but of course something happens to bring her down to earth in a pretty big way. So, I love that there are really no third act breakups in these first two books. I love the big feelings that Wren and Callum have for each other. Every one of Callum words are precious, because he guards them so closely, but when he opens up, it’s absolutely beautiful. Callum is one of my favorite MMCs in a long time, I had such a lovely time reading their story! And sweet Wren deserves her HEA in a big way. Adored!

* virgin hero
* pen pal (i love me some epistolary romance)
* single mom
*jealous hero
* rockstar

just know that this hero is intense, so if you don't like that type of hero, maybe this is not for you, but this romance was so good!!!

Ending this year and my birthday on a good note🥰 Stone Cold Notes was an enjoyable read for me with a healthy dose of an obsessed hero (who btw is also a virgin - my kryptonite!) There were some things that weren't in line with Callum's "obsessed" behavior i.e. him staying away from Wren but stalking her and when Adam kissed her like??? You're supposed to be OTT J/P man😭 Also the whole reason for their separation seemed lame to me (girl, you coulda just told Callum who you were😐) but I'm kinda glad that Wren wasn't a virgin/became a single mom. The ending seemed wayyyy too dramatic and exaggerated fyi. Wasn't a fan of the whole voyeurism thing even though I have previously enjoyed it in other books. I will say though that Callum mentioned that every drop of pleasure he gotten was because of Wren in the past three years so there's that ig. Other than that, I really liked reading Wren and Callum's story - and seeing baby Ezra too🥹 I'm really looking forward to reading Iris and Ronan's story!

safety squad:
- no OW drama
- slight OM drama (OM who's the H's bandmate tries to pursue something with the h and even kisses her but H pulls OM away before anything else happens. another OM keeps harassing the h so the H takes care of him)
- no cheating/sharing
- single mom (h is heartbroken over the H and loses her virginity to a guy and gets pregnant. BD isn't in the picture tho)
- virgin hero
- obsessed + protective & possessive hero
- not the bio dad but the dad who stepped up
- voyeurism kink (H is a voyeur and used to sex clubs/parties and watch his bandmate fuck OW. he never touched or talked to OW tho and mentions that the h is the only one he's ever wanted. there's a scene later on where H and h visit the sex club and get all hot and bothered after a voyeurism scene)
- rockstar romance
- secret penpals
- miscommunication (which leads to a 3 year seperation)
- HEA with marriage and a baby

This was the book that never ends! Yes it went on and on my friends! Some people started reccing it, saying it was a five star read, but then I started reading it and wanted to make my eyes bleed....

Ok ill stop.

I......have been struggling with this book..it wouldn't stop. But then I got to 65% and couldn't bail cuz I had to just finish the dang thang you know? Someone in the fb group was saying how JP he was and how ott obsessed he was. 😐🙄🙄 I am never reading any of her suggestions again 😂😂😬😐 maybe I'm desensitized but it just didn't go far enough for me 🤷 either go big or go home callum! Watching from Windows and paying a bill ain't gonna cut it for me. yes, he fights someone at a bar that she's at when he's touching her inappropriately. Fine.

They start off as pen pals which was weird enough because the emails weren't that interesting 😂 she's 17 when she syarts writing to him and sounds boring as fuxk. callum fell in love with that? Okur. Then she drops off the face of the planet and he doesn't see her again til 3.5 years later 🤦 she's a receptionist at the music studio where he's recording a new album. she disappears after years of emailing because she saves up money to see him at a show and he dismisses her. She gets blind drunk and loses her V to another guy after and says she felt like she cheated on callum. they weren't together so not technically but okay. then she names her kid after a song that he mentions to her 😬😬😬 ugh eww

Edited to add: ayo. What's up with the weird sex bsdm watching thingie? She accepts a party invite to a sex party with Adam (om in the band who likes her). Callum always tags along and just watches but he allows her to be on Adam and allows them to kiss before doing anything? Hm....okur 🤷🤷👀🤔😕. That was very perplexing to me. Maybe its spurring him to finally take a shot but dayam bruh.....this be trifling as.fvcccckkkkkk

Anyway. Cringe factors I can't ignore: she calls her 3 year old baby buddy 😂 like hey baby buddy ol pal! And she says holy granola a lot. I should look up how many times "stone cold" was mentioned 😐 and to have to tell us repeatedly about their character traits (doesn't talk much, stone cold to wveryome, her weight, Hes stone cold, etc) was too much. Jaysus crust.....

Okay this cover model… I’m sorry but please change it. Because this book was so good!

Summary first: Wren just got a job at a record label, and in walks Callum Rose, bassist to the band The Seasons Change. Also known as her ex-pen pal best friend. But they haven’t spoken since she ghosted him years ago. And he’s not exactly friendly enough for her to fess up now.

My main issue with this book was that the flashbacks to years earlier were just their emailed letters to one another. And we know that they were “best friends”, closest to each other through a year and a half of writing, but the emails were… lame. Super surface level. I wish there had been more because based on what we were given I didn’t buy the “best friendship”.

But once the story started rolling… oh my god.

I don’t want to say too much because the TikTok I saw that sold me on this book literally gave away a major spoiler in the video.

But holy hotness. There were some very good spice scenes. He’s a voyeur and a virgin, and he’s obsessed with her. Ooh, and she’s a plus sized heroine!

Just wound up being so cute.

This is the second book in the series but easily stands alone. Its about the bass player in a rock band, Callum and his pen pal, Wren.

Wren wrote to Callum five years before and we get to go back in history to read the letters they sent each other. They both found a connection they never had before. But something happened 3 years before that separated these two and as you read the letters, well you keep guessing.

This story was awesome. It was wonderful and I could not put it down. The author did an amazing job and I loved every single moment between Calum and Wren. This story is very much about soulmates and finding love and holding on tight. Wren is also a single mom and I adored her devotion to her son.

These two met in a letter when Wren was 17 and Callum 19. They were there for each other and became besties until something happened to split them up. Now in real life they meet again as Wren out of college, now has a new job working at the recording company where Callum and his band work for.

Callum doesn't know who Wren is but she knows who he is or does he? This story is best read blind. There are many surprises and honestly it was an awesome story but it was also so great because of what you discover as you read this story.

It easily stands alone as Callum has not been seen much in other stories. It also has Iris from book 1 and Adam as well who I can't wait to read about in a future book.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love those hero’s that are slightly unhinged in their obsessed with their heroine, the ones that’ll move heaven and earth to make her happy- not caring how they accomplish it. I also enjoy those silent, dependable hero’s. The ones that are so attentive, so reassuring you can’t help but feel safe in their love. Callum was all that and so much more.

Callum is the bassist for rising band The Seasons Change. One day, in the back of the cab, he’s on fan duty, answering emails when he comes across one from Birdie (Wren). He’s intrigued by her words and decides to write her back. What follows is a unexpected pen pal relationship between a man that’s nicknamed Stone Cold, for his cold demeanor and very few words, and a girl who doesn’t feel seen.

Three and a half years later they’ve lost touch, but will meet again in person.

(Birdie) Wren is working at a recording studio, as the receptionist. She’s thrown off balance when the popular band The Changing Seasons comes in to record their new album. Wren is still very much in love with Callum, but he doesn’t know who she is… Then, Adam, The Seasons Change guitarist, knows Wren is his type, so he makes a move. Callum takes notice and it doesn’t sit right with his spirit.

I loved Callum. I loved Wren too. Callum’s shy, quiet demeanor, and his past as a grifter kid, spoke to my heart. It’s easy to fall in love with him, especially after finding out how devoted he is to his Wren. Wren was so relatable. Her self esteem issues and her kindness really made her human. I felt everything she did, and I wanted nothing but happiness for her and Callum.

Spoilers ahead…

Callum was so hell bent on making sure that Wren lived a happy life. I loved how he looked after her, his obsession not allowing him to walk away. This is a sweet, slow, quiet story about a man that’s not afraid to get dark, to manipulate the situation to make his love happy. Even though I’m used to a hero that shows all his cards at once, via his pov, it was a nice change of pace to find out about Callum’s “crazy” piece by little piece.

I read this book because it was said to have an unhinged hero that would do anything for his heroine and I was not disappointed. Callum had his hands all up in Wren’s life for the entire three and a half years they were apart. How can you not love a man that’s every breath is making you happy!

'When I'm with you... we're just Wren and Callum. We're the friends we were in our letters, but more. So much more.'

Holy granola! Just when you think that Julia Wolf can't possibly top any of her previous books, she goes and does it. With ease.

Stone Cold Notes is AMAZING. And Callum Rose is EVERYTHING. I literally adore him.

He's bossy, possessive, obsessive and slightly (read totally) stalkerish, but he's a man who will do anything for his girl, and I am here for it.

Need some proof?

He's romantic - 'I'm addicted to the way you reach into my soul and pour goodness and light in.'

Possessive - 'That woman is mine. I say who can talk to her. I say who can touch her. I say who can look at her. You were not given that privilege.'

Stalkerish - 'Over the years I considered taking her and keeping her... Her shadow had finally found her, and she was so busy with her life, she'd never once checked behind her to notice.'

Did I mention stalkerish? - 'You showed up at my house this morning and I don't remember giving you my address.'
'All it took was a little digging. You're not hard to find, Wren Anderson.'

And very, very sexy - 'Look at you, taking me. All stretched out and pink. My c*ck loves your sweet p*ssy. Never wanna leave it.'

Callum Rose is everything you want in a leading man. He's also so very sweet. A shy, introverted, socially awkward Alabama boy, who comes from a difficult background.

Wren Anderson is just as sweet, just as shy, introverted and socially awkward. She's such a lovable character, and her witty little sayings are so freaking cute!

The pair first meet via email when 17-year-old Wren sees Callum performing with his up-and-coming rock band, The Seasons Change, and she emails him. Callum responds and over the next year and a half they exchange hundreds of emails.

Then they stop.

Callum and Wren have unknowingly broken each other's hearts.

Three years later, Wren is beginning a new job at Good Music when in walks Stone Cold Callum Rose, living up to every bit of his cool and aloof reputation.

But when Callum sees Wren with another man, he loses his cool and claims her. Except he doesn't know Wren is his former penpal, and she's no longer the girl he once knew. What will happen when he finds out?

The chemistry and emotion Julia has created between these two just jumps off the page and instantly grabs you. Both characters are so beautiful; they're relatable, sweet, loving, with scorching heat between them, but they are also really likeable.

And Ezra? Oh my goodness, I really don't want to say much about him because of spoilers, but I love him, I want him. He's so adorably cute and sweet.

I can't praise Julia Wolf enough for Stone Cold Notes. Here we see her shift slightly to the dark side, with sex parties and voyeurism/exhibitionism, but it works, and it brings the right amount of heat and spice without taking anything away from the love story.

Low on angst, but with just the right amount of drama, Stone Cold Notes certainly hits all the right notes. And be sure to have tissues for the epilogue; I think Julia Wolf is trying to kill her readers!

Seriously though, Julia's really outdone herself. And I know I'm going to re-read this book countless times - I wanted to re-read it and I hadn't even finished!

There are many standout moments, but it's a couple of simple things that were my favourite parts. Like how Callum says Wren's name with his Alabama accent, as Wren tells us:

'Rin. Holy granola, how had I gone all my life without hearing him say my name like that?'

And this is perhaps my favourite line in the book. The line that made my stomach dip and my heart soar:-

'Little Bird, Don't shrink. I know.'

Oh, Callum. What are you doing to my heart?!

I can honestly say, if I take anything away from this book, it'll be those two words: Don't shrink. I have a tendency to do that, or, like many others, can often feel invisible; but I'll remember to tell myself not to shrink from now on.

Many thanks to Julia Wolf for the ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Do yourself the biggest favour and don't hesitate to buy this book. Stone Cold Notes releases on December 2nd. It's definitely my joint top read of the year. If I could give it more than five stars, I would.

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trope: friends to lovers, second chance, stalker
Angst: 😱😱😱😓
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

This was just the most surprisingly sweet rocker romance with a stalker twist that I ever read. Well its probably the only one, lol 🤷🏻‍♀️. Anywho, sweetest story with a super original storyline. Had me from page one and never let go. These are characters you absolutely fall in love with. Loved that they both have flaws. They both screwed up and it wasn't lopsided. This is the first book in the series, I've read, but I'm definitely going back for the others!

I was so pumped to learn that Seasons Change were getting they're own series! I've loved each book but Man! I was not prepared for Callum Rose! Julia does it again. A story of two people who despite everything they went through individually found a way to each other without reservations. I love the journey these characters went through. Normally I'm really good at guessing or seeing where a book's headed but dang This book had its surprises and unexpected turns I couldn't put it down. And while there a new Daddy in town for me in the name of Stone Cold Callum Rose, I also want to scream my love for Wren! She was incredible and I related to her in ways that were unexpected as I'm not exactly an introvert. Sadly I was so enraptured I breezed through it in less then 24hrs! This book hangover is real!! Thank you so much Julia Wolf for the ARC copy of this book for an honest review!

Possesive H/ behind scenes stalker/ sweet h/ rocker romance

This was SWOON CENTRAL. It was beautiful honestly. It has a Possessive H who didn’t like anyone touching his woman, and punches a few guys for it. He was protective and possessive and obsessed with her and I loved it. The relationship development is just beautiful here.

Okay- so this starts off with a shy girl who sends fan mail to a up and coming band. Callum reads it and replies like months later and she’s kinda quirky so she keeps writing like she’s friends with this guys and he’s like idk how to talk to people but I’ll try lol. Over years they emails and it becomes daily. And they plan to meet only for the h not to show, 3 years goes by and slots happend. The h is starting a new job and feeling like finally her life maybe getting on track and the H walks in. She instantly knows it him, remember he was a band member but he never knew who she was bc she never met him… and here is where the story starts.

Some things ((spoilers possible for ya sensitive types))
- we get a lot of background on their relationship/friendship as Pen pals
-The H isn’t like aggressive but he IS VERY POSSESIVE and protective
-Stalker!! He was a behind the scenes stalker- he manipulates things in her life to provide for her without her knowing. It so SWOONYYYY
-The H is obsessed with h. It’s so damn good y’all. He’s dedicated to her happiness so much. It guys him to see her sad.
-Rocker romance but he’s the silent type. He is known to be stone cold but for the h is all sweet words, loving things.
-single momma
-OM drama - another guy asks her out and the H takes her from him middle of the date… a dude from the neighborhood keeps flirting and he gets a little to friendly and gets knocked down 😏🤣 and I LOVE THAT. I love when a H handles that shit for his woman!
-The relationship development is just sooo good. I mean I was so in love with them.
-this book was just… swoon… idk how to even say anything else. Like it didn’t have bullshit drama, where there a misunderstanding or they don’t take about something and split ways- it had NO STUPID DRAMA YALL… they talked through everything and it was beautiful bc it was so true to them. They were utterly dedicated to them as a whole. It was BEAUTIFUL.
-h has only been with one person one time
-H was a Vcard member and he knew it was only wren for him 🥰
-SWOOON FEST YALL- I know I’ve said this but I gotta say it again, this book made my heart just thump so hard. CALLIM LIVED FOR WREN… LIVED. She was his existence and it was just amazing yall… amazing *Sigh*
-light read
-HEA

I usually love a OTT aggressive H right? This was different but Callum was still very much manipulative and not taking no for answer and obsessed and i LOVED It! At one point she was like I need space and he was like “you can’t take you away from me” and I just melted 🥺🥺 seriously read this. So damn good.

"Because I don’t know what I’m doing or how to be a girlfriend. I’m a single mom and you’re a freaking rock star. I’m a Jersey girl and you’re an Alabama boy. We started because I sent you fan mail, and we ended because I was too afraid to meet you. None of those things bode well for us, but it doesn’t seem to matter, does it? When I’m with you, all of that falls away. We’re just Wren and Callum. We’re the friends we were in our letters, but more. So much more. And I like it so, so much. I like you so, so much. Even more than when we were pen pals. Even more than I did yesterday and the day before. I’m surprised by it because I’ve never had it, but I hope to all that is holy I can keep having it."

"In a long, long time, Mama and I are gonna get old and die. And then, we’ll turn into trees, standin’ side by side ’cause you know I couldn’t get by without bein’ next to Mama
You know Mama always gets cold so she bundles up. Well, when it becomes fall and it’s time to drop our leaves, I’ll hold on to mine as long as I can to keep her warm. And when it’s windy, I’ll use my branches to shield her. When it gets too hot, I’ll be her shade. In the spring, I hope I’ll blossom first so I can give them to her. But we both know her blossoms are gonna be the most beautiful. That’s what I want to happen when we die."

Pen pals turned lovers
Bit drama with H's family and some misunderstanding between MCs
No cheating, h had ONS with other man after a heartbreaking event (they're not together at that time)
Safe read, HEA, epilogue
Overall score: 4.5 great romance stars.

“I love you, Wren. It might be a psycho kind of love, but it’s pure and it’s true.”

First of all Callum was super duper intense.... I'm not sure in a good way

Wren started writing up and coming rock star Callum when she was 17. They exchanged emails and agreed to finally meet a while after. She goes to him without saying who she is and he doesn't want to see her🙄. She leaves heartbroken and never contacted him again. A ONS and 5 years later Wren is a single parent who's started a job at a record label and there she meets Callum again

*****
1) the reason for the separation was dumb!!!! So fricken stupid!!!! A man known for being stone cold and silent refuses to see you so she convinced herself he didn't want to meet her! When she could've simply gone up to.him and properly introduced herself. Ugh drama for drama's sake

2) Because of his rejection she gets drunk and loses her virginity to someone else ending up pregnant.....dumb AF I tell ya

3)Callum needed a psychiatrist 😂 he nurses his hurt for a short while then eventually tracked her down only to see her pregnant. He then spends years in the background watching over her, protecting and providing for her all while she doesn't know a thing. Given Callum's messed up childhood, his ability to disassociate and his very very intense clinging to Wren homeboy needed some professional help.
There are parts of his intensity that I enjoyed because I love my males a little fucked up but there are other parts that disturbed me

4) I'm a massive sucker for single parent romances and in all honesty this did not need to be one. Ezra and Callum were cute together but I felt his addition to their lives was just too rushed for me.

5) Callum was a virgin who frequented sex clubs just to be a voyeur.... huh?

6) this next one pains me to write but....there was just too much sex😔 some of that page space could've gone to developing a better relationship with Ezra
I've enjoyed books by this author before and will read her again but this one left me in a weird place of being pleased/DISPLEASED

No cheating
They started as friends over email and were separated for years
Baby from a one time sexual encounter with a friend
H was a voyeur but also a virgin

Well, I loved this one. I haven't read the first book so I went into this blind and I absolutely loved it.
Wren was a heroine that I could relate with. I loved her story with Callum, who is dark and mysterious.
The story will take your breath away as it is not your usual rockstar romance.
The writing is perfection as always! This is a very intense book and it clicked all my boxes. Do not miss it.

I wouldn’t cry over Callum Rose. I’d done enough of that three and a half years ago. The man who made me fall in love with his words then broke my heart when our eyes first met. I had been as invisible to him then as I was now.

Julia Wolf is one of my go to authors, has been for years and there are a multitudes of reasons why she impresses me the way she does. First and foremost, her talent captures my full attention and then she relentlessly pulls at my heartstrings with each new story she writes. Now, the wait is over for Stone Cold Notes, book 2 in The Seasons Change rocker romance series where an intriguing man I've had my eye on finally gets to tell his story.

I know I'm not the only curious one out there...it's the quiet ones that take you by surprise in the end and boy...did Callum Rose fit right into that category. He watches from the sidelines, taking in everything around him, but keeps his emotions on lockdown.  Mysterious, aloof and silent, but gorgeous and oh so very intense. He has secrets, a darker side to him that are known to only a few and even they don't know his whole story. I do love a twisty, completely unexpected surprise and Callum's complicated past was one I never saw coming!! Zinger!!

There was one person Callum trusted and opened up to like no one else. She reached out to him in the beginning of his rise to stardom, never expecting him to respond and their unusual long distance friendship became everything to them both until it somehow wasn't. That sweet girl slipped through his fingers a long time ago, vanishing before he ever got a chance to meet her. Why did she run?? He felt her loss so strongly and it's been the burning question in his head for years.

Beautiful, kind, awkward Wren- behind those big brown eyes is a thoughtful, strong woman with a heart of gold and secrets of her own...any one of them could ruin everything if discovered by the wrong person. Her new job puts her directly in the line of fire- face to face with her favorite band and the secret penpal crush who broke her heart so many years ago...Callum Rose. When lines get blurred and crossed, something happens that changes everything. Wren takes a risk with her heart despite her fears...can she trust Callum or will he hurt her again?

Holy Granola and OMG, Callum the watcher was H.O.T. but the Callum the bossy protector??  Well, he has become my sexy, sinful and swoonworthy new book boyfriend in The Seasons Change series now...who could resist this guy?? Not Wren and definitely not me!!  I am completely enamoured of this mysterious, aloof, multi-dimensional man. He is NOT as he appears on the surface at all...still waters run deep and you'll be so tempted to freefall right into Callum Rose...believe me, it's inevitable!!

I have once again been swept up into another fantastic romance from the mind of Julia Wolf, which is still spinning around in my head. These wonderful characters really touched me, surpised me and even made me cry. Both Callum and Wren crawled into my heart, took up residence and now I'm sad to let them go. I know I'll see them again down the road, but I'll miss them until that happens. I hope lead singer Adam's story is next in this series..he was quite the extroverted handful so far and his tale should be a wild one, at least I hope it is!!

I'm thankful to have had the pleasure of reading and reviewing an early copy of Stone Cold Notes. It is a new favorite for sure.  Add this one to your TBR...its a memorable one.

I swear, this author manages to throw me every time she changes it up a bit! First, Callum. He’s EVERYTHING. A bit broody, intense, and super duper into being all he can possibly be for that one perfect woman. And that lucky woman? Well, she isn’t me. But she IS Wren. And boy, does she deserve all that Callum has to offer. Apart, they both feel a tad awkward, like they just don’t fit in. Together, they’re an unstoppable duo who have the perfect life and world for them at their fingertips. Except…how much of that perfect is coincidence?

I absolutely LOVED how this story was done. Julia flirted with the boundaries of some darker shadows with this book, and it paid off in a huge way. Yet again, she’s turned the rock star trope on its ear to give something you never even knew you oh so desperately wanted or needed. And trust me. You want and need this. I honestly think that this is my favorite couple because the rawness, the emotion, the fumbling but promising that any mistakes are workable and that the love Callum feels for Wren will never die, and the feelings that this read ripped out of my chest made for a book that I refused to put down until the very end.

Congratulations, Julia. Never before Callum have I wanted or even understood the “book boyfriend” wants. Now, I do. So I’ll claim him first. Callum is mine. Or at least the intensity, the idea, and the character within him. And Wren is mine also. Because she would be an excellent friend to have, so this book will likely be a frequent reread of mine for years to come.

I've been jonesing for Callum's story since Iris's book. The silent fortress who doesn't let anyone in and who no one really knows. Yes please! This is seriously my book kryptonite. I love stories with the tough nuts that no one but the FMC get to crack. Only she knows what's hidden beneath the stone cold exterior. So I knew going in that I was in for a treat and I was not wrong. Callum is all I could have hoped for and more. So much more! Then we have Wren. I love her. She's quiet, shy, but determined. She's an introvert but at the same time there's a boldness underneath the surface. Together they are perfection!

I've come to realize that Julia can pretty much do no wrong with her stories. Every one of them suck me in, give me all the feels, and leave me with my hands out begging for the next one.

I can't even. Every book of Julia's I read I start off 100% resolved. I already have my favorite JW book and characters and you can't make me love anyone more than I love X <- <- <- Spoiler alert, this is a crock of absolute crap.

Why? Because then Julia grabs me by the hair, smacks me around, and tells me I'm wrong. (I mean metaphorically obviously, but at this point if she wanted to smack me around I wouldn't be mad about it.)

Hot DAMN. Callum Rose. Who knew you were such a dirty, dirty boy? HERE FOR IT.

I have been in a reading slump this month. I have a ton of books on my Kindle, but I've only managed to read 1 (compared to the 10 from last month). When I saw this appear like a life raft on the horizon, I was ON IT. I don't want to write spoilers, or spoiler adjacent things, but suffice to say, this book melted my panties, my Kindle, and I didn't put it down till I was D-O-N-E.

If there's one thing you can say about a Julia Wolf novel it's that you know what you're getting before you go in: curvy girls, hot heroes who worship their women, fantastically written sessy times, and all the feels. She doesn't disappoint. One-click this smoldering, stoic, beaut! <3

This is one go to author for the rockstar romance that gives you a lot more than you bargain for. The emotional toll the characters take on you and how invested you become in their lives. It is as if you are there and experiencing everything as it transpires. I get giddy each time there is a new release and this one is just as good, if not better than the others. Click, click, click on this!!!!

Definitely not my usual cup of tea. I like obsessed MC’s but it was a little out of character for a rock star romance. The relationship between this couple was a little hard to fall into. They were penpals into strangers into lovers but actually the whole time he was stalking her once she stopped responding to his emails and was taking care of her without her knowledge. I had some problems with pacing and development so a good 3 stars for me

This book was pull my hair out worthy. It started out really good. An introverted rocker before he became famous,Callum was a pen pal through email with a very introverted young woman, Wren. She started out as a fan and they ended up best friends although had never met. Something happens and they don’t write for almost 4 years. Meanwhile, she has a child by someone else. When they finally meet at her job working at a music company, they each fall hard. He’s got lots of secrets to do with her that you don’t know for a good portion of the book. Neither does she. Uh oh is right.

Where this book kind of lost me was 1. When on her first outing with another member of his band, she attends a sex party and not only watches, but pretty much does just short of actual sex in public with Callum. 2. Attends an even more public sex club for their next outing. 3. Callum is completely obsessed and literally stalks her. 4. Controls her to the point she has to beg for alone time when she’s upset with him. The book becomes straight up erotica on and off for most of the book. It’s a shame because I did enjoy the initial penpal part of the book, their meeting and his pursuing of her. I loved her relationship with her little boy and her aunt she lives with as well. I’m a fan of rocker books and I wanted to love this one but sadly no. I won’t be continuing the series.
