I thought this book was good because I like historical books. The reading age would probably be 4th grade and up. Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809. At night, Abraham sat right next to the fireplace and read the bible, Aesop's Fables, and Robinson Crusoe. What will Abraham Lincoln do during his early life and presidency and at Ford's Theatre? Read the book to find out!!!!!
This series always impresses me with how much information about the covered president is given in a way that children can follow, without being overwhelming. This book did a nice job of telling a bit about both Lincoln’s politics and his personality.
