Jade Sky is a reporter with a suspicion, and she knows Gray Malice is keeping secrets. There’s something about him she can’t ignore and neither can her body.
Gray Malice has always been the bad guy, and now is no different. It’s too bad for Jade he’s set his sights on her… because he’s never letting go.

Heroes stories are great, but I always feel strong emotions when the Villain falls in love. There was this this poem where the poet says "I always wondered why I like the villain more, And I think it might be when they get on the knees for her and only her" I felt it when she said, "A hero would sacrifice her to save the world showing they are indeed pure hearted and honest, but and villain would tear the world apart if she was hurt, THAT IS A PROMISE. They seem selfish manipulative and rude to everyone around but he treats her like a queen and only his sitting beside him on a throne with her crown"
I love Ar's books, but I this is going to be my favorite one . Eagerly waiting...
Way better than the first one, more hot 🥵 and more of an actual story. Loved this can’t wait to get more from this author almost never disappoint when I’m looking for something quick and spicy 🌶 .
°Virgin heroine °Non manwhore hero °Switching POVs °Insta love/lust °OTT alpha hero °No separation °No OW/OM drama °No cheating or scenes with OP °Epilogue: 10+ years later
Look, it had potential; the whole formula x concept wasn't explained, so the ending seemed like a stupid epilogue to me, all things considered.
Funny moments: - “You know, I was really hoping you were Batman.”I shake my head in disappointment.
Smut moments: - I take the opportunity to close my eyes and inhale the scent that’s been driving me mad.It makes my mouth water, and I lean closer until my nose and mouth are pressed against her neck. “Wh-what are you doing?” “Be still,” I say and breathe what feels like my first breath in forever. - “Gray,” she breathes when my mouth moves to her neck and I suck on the tender skin. “Are you going to give me what I want?”His hand moves down to cup my sex, and my hips thrust up on their own, trying to grind myself against him. That same loud rumble I’d heard in the dining room comes from deep inside of him.“You’re soaked.” - “There aren’t cameras in the bedroom, but if you want to put some in, I’m more than happy to accommodate that.”I lick the tender skin there and then taste how soft she is.“I think I’d love to watch you come apart over and over.”
I so love a redeemable villain. I wouldn't say Gray is exactly a villain...more like angry and misunderstood. However, I do really wish AR would've given a scene with Gray and Mr. Lone. Maybe letting him finally get some closure and understanding in why his father did what he did by injecting himself Formula X. Because I think Keaton's father would be the one to give him the reasoning and maybe thought behind why his father did this. My favorite part about the book is Jade. She was so freaking hilarious. Her thought process about Gray is funny at times too. She has been told many times and has many misplaced reasons to fear Gray. But she still holds her ground and stands up for doing what she does.
I really am hopefull we can get Noah and Violet's book. With both of them exhibiting effects of the formula and being raised with it and knowing no different.
What starts out as an investigation into a corrupt businessman turn into a HEA. Gray Malice is a powerful man in the technology world in more ways than one. Jade has been investigating him and when she gets some sensitive information she and her family are in danger. Keaton and Elsy from book one end up brokering a deal with Gray and the FBI to get the Russians off their case. Gray and Keaton both have super powers related to Formula X. Gray is as obsessed with Jade as Keaton is with Elsy. Lots of PDA and chemistry!

Also a weird fated mates kind of a thing going on, but the smut in this one kind of makes up for all the tropes. Honestly, the bonus scene for the author’s other book at the end kind of saved this whole thing and that’s from a completely different book. Sooo.
The authors have a very weird definition of what a villain is supposed to be. Hell, even if there WAS anything actually villainous about the hero, the book itself was meh!
3.5, cute and different and low drama.. Ps. It is a book 2 to saved by the superhero..must read to finish book 1 , otherwise, book 1 looks unfinished:)
