I love a road trip romance, especially when the story is filed with funny pitstops and mishaps!

Personal assistant Lucy Gonzalez is completely fed up with her job, leading her to abruptly quit and try her skills as a travel influencer. But her boss Miles isn't ready to let Lucy go, tagging along her road trip adventure in hopes of convincing her to come back.

The forced proximity of the car and travel trailer was fun. It was the ultimate close quarters!

But I really needed more context in this workplace relationship to make certain situations understandable. Lucy claims to have had an unrequited crush on Miles for two years, but her actions seemed widely unprofessional without knowing their full history.

... At the end of the day, I think the steam level was just too outside my comfort zone.

I do love a great grovel though, and Miles is certainly a mess without Lucy. It was sweet to see him not only miss her organizational skills but also learn to accept love into his life.

(heat level: a few open-door scenes, very explicit)

The story itself was really fun. I enjoyed the premise, and the way things played out. I even feel like the writing was engaging and smart in a way that I really appreciate. But there was something missing for me.

I felt like it was all very surface level. And while I enjoyed the way things played out - I didn't *feel* it the way I really wanted to. It was like casually reading about something that happened to someone sometime. I felt a little held apart from the story, and never really brought all the way in.

That said, there's plenty to like here. Moments that were adorable, sexy, and fun. The grand gesture at the end was quirky and adorable and I feel like if I had felt more emotionally connected to the book, it would have put me in a full on swoon.

In the end, this was a quick, enjoyable read - but didn't quite hit "next level" for me. ~ Shelly, 3 Stars

Thank you Jennifer Bonds, Entangled Publishing and Netgalley for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Miles and Miles of You follows Lucy who works
as an executive assistant for Miles Hart. Lucy gets sick of not getting enough recognition from her boss and quits to become a travel influencer. After she quit, Miles' life falls into shambles and Miles makes it his mission to get Lucy back, even if that means he would have to drop everything else and join her cross-country roadtrip.

This book is absolutely adorable; full of fluff, GROVELING, and even a little spice. I loved how authentic Lucy was and how determined she was to achieve her goal despite all the risks. Miles is obviously swoon-worthy, NOT GRUMPY which is unusual for billionaires in books. He wasn't throwing his money at every problem, and we weren't constantly reminded he was filthy rich more so than how he got to where he is. Lucy and Miles as a couple were very cliché at some points. Did I still eat it up? Yup. I mean, there was the one bed trope come on you can't blame me.

As for my criticisms, I wish the time span during which Miles realized his feelings for Lucy was more realistic because she has worked for him for two years, but he fell in love with her in TWO WEEKS???? It felt too rushed and lackluster to me in all honesty. I also hated the social media references like "Tell me you ___ without telling me you ___" or the horrible hashtags 😭

The roadtrip itself was pretty fun. The author put a lot of thought into the places and activities the characters experienced with just enough details. All in all, this book was a fun romance with adorable characters. Is it one of the best? Nope. It isn't anything special, but if you're looking for a lighthearted read, definitely check it out when it comes out !!

I had fun with this book! I didn’t go into this book with many expectations since this is the first time that I have read this author’s work. I do love a road trip book and I was pleasantly surprised that they made at least one stop not too far from my neck of the woods. I found myself flying through the pages once I started reading this book and couldn’t wait to see Miles and Lucy find their happily ever after together.

Feeling underappreciated and frustrated, Lucy quits her job and decides to try her luck becoming a travel influencer. Her boss MIles, who Lucy happens to be in love with, is lost without her so he decides to tag along on her two-week trip to convince her to come back to the office. Lucy’s plans are to travel Route 66 from Chicago to California stopping at all of the sites along the way. Her goals of getting noticed online come to fruition only after she posts photos of her travel companion minus his shirt. Lucy and Miles end up learning a lot about each other while the sparks fly during their road trip.

I liked Miles and Lucy together. I loved the way Miles finally got to know the real Lucy, which happened to be very different than the reserved woman he thought he knew from the office. Watching them open up to each other and eventually give in to chemistry was great. I really liked the fact that Miles really did want to see Lucy happy as he realized the job he thought she was perfect in may not have left her fulfilled. I had a great time watching them try to figure things out.

I would recommend this book to others. I thought that this book was very well done and loved the fact that it was told from both Miles’s and Lucy’s points of view. There was even enough humor worked into the story to keep things very entertaining. I hope to get my hands on the next book in this fun romantic series.

sadly i was expecting so much more. she worked for him 2 years and was in love with him, he fell for her when they took 2 weeks trip and it didn't feel realistic because he didn't even realize her past two years 🤨 also she was unreasonably angry at him for not loving her??? girl not every boss falls for his assistant 🙄

“I told you,” he calls after me, “I’m in this for the long haul.” Not if I have anything to say about it.

It was my first book by the author and it was considerably good! While I liked the plot and the blurb and cover caught my attention, I wanted to see some more chemistry between Miles & Lucy. They became an actual couple when the book neared it's end. However, the epilogue scored some bonus points. Some parts of the book felt flat but I enjoyed the little challenges that Miles & Lucy threw at each other throughout their journey. I liked the writing style and enjoyed the concept of a boss and employee going on a road trip together, so overall it was a 3.5 star read for me.

3/5 ☆

This was very lackluster for me. It took me a while to get into it so I kept taking breaks to finish. Everything felt a bit rushed and there wasn’t really any character building in my opinion. It felt a bit “telling” rather than showing. For example, Lucy quits her job by the end of the first chapter because she’s been under appreciated by her boss Miles for years. But we don’t really see any of that under appreciation other than some small comments that Miles makes.

We are also just expected to just go along with the fact that Miles, after not noticing how hardworking Lucy is all these years, decides to just hop along on Lucy’s road trip to become an influencer even though he is a billionaire at a financial tech company. I also just couldn’t get on with his sudden attraction to her. Just didn’t feel fully developed for me.

I really liked the concept of the book! The whole road trip aspect is cute. I liked that they explored each place and it got Miles out of his comfort zone, which allowed them to get to know each other a bit better. Overall, an ok book!

This is the first book I’ve read by Jennifer Bonds, and it was in general, a cute contemporary romance. While parts of the setup were problematic for me, for the most part I enjoyed it.

Lucy has worked for tech billionaire (yes, that made me cringe) Miles for two years, keeping his life in order, while he ignores her. She’s also been falling in love with Miles. Finally, it reaches a breaking point when it’s clear Miles isn’t listening to a word Lucy says, and she quits. Miles doesn’t believe her at first. When he asks Lucy what she plans to do, she throws out “be a travel influencer.”

Skip ahead three weeks, and Miles is floundering; every aspect of his life is in chaos. Meanwhile, Lucy has a “vintage” Airstream, has sold everything, and is ready to hit the road. That’s when Miles appears with an apology. Lucy’s tempted, but it’s clear Miles wants her as a perfect assistant, not her as a woman. Lucy turns him down. Miles doesn’t give up and convinces Lucy to let him go with her on her cross-country journey for two weeks. Lucy’s focus is to show how real people can travel on a budget and agrees on the condition that Miles travels as she does, no frills allowed. Lucy doesn’t expect Miles to last long, but Miles agrees on the condition they have a bet. If he sticks it out Lucy comes back to work for him. If he caves, he gives Lucy a bunch of monetary perks.

There were a lot of witty exchanges between Lucy and Miles. The POV alternates between Lucy and Miles, so we can clearly see how much Lucy cares for Miles, right from the beginning. In contrast, we know Miles initially only sees Lucy as an assistant, but gradually becomes attracted to her.

For someone who is supposedly so great at organizing and planning things, Lucy’s plans to quickly make a living as a social influencer seemed out of character, especially since we know she has tons of student-loan debt, and apparently lives check-to-check. Nevertheless, I liked both Lucy and Miles, and liked how we gradually learned more about their backgrounds. Miles runs an Austin tech company with his two brothers, who I assume will be featured in later books. While I had some problems with the details, I still enjoyed this, and would give it a B-/C+, so rounding up to four stars here.

This was seriously just the book I needed to read. This was such a cute story that I got sucked into! I loved the characters. I loved the road trip. And I loved the bet. Lucy was Myles personal assistant before quitting because she was in love with him. She then decided to be a travel influencer and go on a road trip on Route 66. Myles ends up tagging along, and you can only imagine the wonderful forced proximity and one bed situations these two got into. I did read the physical book and felt like maybe the audiobook might have been better. At times the characters were hard to distinguish whose POV I was reading from, so they didn’t really have a clear voice. Other than that, I thought this book was so delightful and am so excited to read more books by this author!

A new to me author, I really enjoyed this road trip romance between an aspiring travel influencer who decides to quit an unsatisfying job and drive across the country in her grandma's airstream trailer. Her ex-boss comes along for the ride unexpectedly and boy do the sparks fly. I love the chemistry between these two and was pleasantly surprised by how spicy it turned out. Highly recommended and great on audio!

ENFIM.

"I won't sit here and listen to her talk about herself in such disparaging terms. Not when I see her so completely. The trip has been a pain in the ass in more ways than I can count, but it's opened my eyes to the incredible woman before me. 'Your eyes are brown but no the same rich espresso shade as your hair. They're a deep umber that grows darker, almost black, when you're angry, and when they catch the light, they soften, revealing a warmth few possess. The most fascinating thing I've noticed is that when you're excited or making a snarky comeback to put me in my place, your eyes sparkle, lighting up your entire face.'"

Lucy is done. She is done working her ass off and not being seen by her boss. She's done working for the man she's been in love with for two years, and done waiting for Miles. In a moment of exhaustion and frustration, Lucy quits.

She's getting ready to embrace her new freedom and travel, working toward becoming an influencer. She just doesn't anticipate Miles showing up and barging his way into her trip. He's wrecked without her, not realizing how much he relied on her at work and to keep at the pieces of his life in order. Desperate to get her back, he offers her more money, and a lighter workload.

Lucy's not ready to give up on her adventure quite so easily, so they form a bet. If Miles can last the whole two weeks on the trip her way, she will come back to work for him. If Lucy wins, Miles will make sure Lucy gets the bonus she missed out on for quitting early.

_____________________________

This was such a fun, fast, and hilarious read. They had excellent banter and definitely some good chemistry. The road trip was so much fun, and I loved all the chaos that came from it and their bonding moments.

It was great seeing Miles' feeling develop during the two weeks, but I wish we got more from why Lucy was so enamored by him. We understand that she's been in love with him for a long time, but I wanted more of that emotional aspect on her end. Overall, they were a really cute couple but a lot of the feelings felt surface level.

I think the pacing of this book was a bit rushed in terms of Miles coming to terms with his feelings. There was definitely more room for layers and to explore feelings, especially since he's been working with her for two years.

Overall, a fun quick read! Was definitely laughing and loved little Gizmo.

This was such a cute, quick, and fun read! I really liked the plot of the book and the writing made me want to keep reading. I really love books with road trips and this one didn’t disappoint. Lucy, frustrated and underappreciated, quits her job to hopefully become a travel influencer. She plans to travel Route 66 from Chicago to California and will stop at all the sites. Her boss, Miles, who is lost without her, decides to accompany her on the trip to convince her to come back. Sparks fly and the rest is history.

I loved these two so much! Their chemistry and the way a different side to their relationship developed was something I enjoyed seeing. I really liked that we got both Lucy and Miles' perspectives. I loved the cute moments between the two as well as how funny the book was.

If you want a book that has Harvey Spector and Donna vibes (Suits!) then this is it. Only it's set on the road, with an Airstream, and packs plenty of snark and sexual tension and sweet moments.

Lucy finally gets fed up with not being appreciated or recognized for all her hard work at the office and quits to be a travel blogger/influencer. Miles doesn't realize exactly how bad he needs her until she's out the door.

A bet is made. Groveling happens. Best road trip ever.

Between the sass and love of K-pop, I wanted to be Lucy's bestie. And Miles is suuuuper swoony, easy-going, and really pulled my heart strings. Did I mention he grovels?

Tropes and funsies:
I'm in love with my boss
I don't ever want to fall in love, so I never get close to anyone
I lost her and will do anything to get her back
One bed
A bet
Forced proximity (Road trip and camping!!)

I was totally pulled in by the description of this book because it reminded me of “The Wall of Winnipeg and Me’ by Mariana Zapata (one of my favorite books) and I have been craving a book of the same plot.

Right off the bat, I was wary about this book because the beginning chapter ends with Lucy quitting over the smallest display of disrespect. The first two chapters went by lightening quick and I was letting it slide because 1) I connected with Lucy’s emotion and was excited to get more in-depth with it and 2) thought the author was going fast to get to meatier plot.

She wasn’t really. It was just quick to be quick. Which is sad, because there was SO much that could have been explored in those first two chapters! For instance, after finishing the book, there could have been SO MANY more displays of Lucy getting disrespected of under appreciated performing her job. She worked for this man for two years and her final straw was him not listening to her morning briefing. And that was really all we saw. If the whole plot is centered around her under appreciation and invisibility to Miles, I needed so much more than that.

Another problem I had was the consistency of Lucy and Miles’s characterization. I felt like their personalities would change/bend depending on what the author wanted a short scene to be. Example: we are told that Lucy is a person who plays it safe (which is a huge part of the third act argument, so it makes it even worse that this was a problem). However, while driving, instead of stopping at a gas station she puts faith in driving 60 miles on less than a quarter tank of gas...even after Miles points out that their gas is low. That’s just one example, and it sounds small, but was honestly pretty annoyed while reading it.

Despite my many problems with the story structure, pacing, and characterization, there were some really great parts about the book:
- Though it could have been explored a lot more, Lucy’s angst and feelings toward Miles were well-done and made me feel for her greatly.
- Miles’s nicknames for Lucy tugged on my heartstrings EVERY time!
- Miles’s slow progression of falling in love with Lucy was lovely and so subtly done (the bathroom scene). I loved the way the author utilized “showing not telling” for a lot of his moments.
- Their physical moments were SO good! Wonderful writing. It felt very original to the author and not just a copy-paste smut scene! I loved it!

Thank you so much NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review!

As with all cliched relationships, Lucy starts off as Miles' assistant. When she realizes that her feelings won't be reciprocated by him and that she'll never be anything more than someone who books his Wednesday night dinners with the random hook-ups he has or schedules when his laundry is picked up, she decides to quit her job and blaze her own trail.... down Route 66 in an Airstream.

Miles, a week after Lucy quits, realizes he's made a huge mistake by letting her go, so he lands himself on her doorstep the morning she's set to leave town, with his own bags packed.... because he's inviting himself and crashing her solo travel plans, intent on getting her back in his employ.

En route, both Lucy and Miles make a bet where if Miles makes it to the end of the trip, Lucy agrees to come back to the company as his assistant, like nothing has changed; whereas, if Lucy wins the bet (that Miles doesn't make it to the end), she never comes back to the company and Miles leaves her alone.

The story is told in dual POV, but the beginning felt more like it was slanted toward Lucy's viewpoint; however, as the trip progresses, the reader finds out a little bit about Miles and his background story, while getting nothing from Lucy's background (aside from that her parents were strict while she was growing up, and it wasn't until chapter 8 when her last name was even mentioned!). This story feels like it starts in the middle of both their lives and then continues for this road trip, as there is no character development for Lucy at all, while Miles divulges a snapshot peek into his own childhood upbringing. It was quite disorienting to read a book where the characters didn't grow or learn from their past experiences because the author didn't bother to give the insight to the reader.

As far as rom-coms go, this one was flimsy at best, just due to the lack of growth. Lucy is a smartass and Miles is uptight.... that's it. There could have been so many avenues for the author to take with each character, but it was always backed off. Lucy had accused Miles of being "surface," and that is exactly what this whole book felt like - surface, with nothing deeper.

It was a nice change to read a story with not the typical romance recipe or trope. With an interesting take on a road trip story.

Lucy has worked as a person assistant for Miles, a billionaire. Managing his calendar, emails and even setting up his dates. Lucy is tired feeling unnoticed by Miles and ignoring her, so finally she just quits and Miles doesn't believe her that she will, so she announces she's going to be a travel influencer on Instagram. To say the least Miles is flabbergasted and quickly learns how lost at with he is without her.

After failing to convince her to come back, he makes a deal with her that he will go on a road trip with her across Route 66. She doesn't believe he can make handle a no frills life style in an airstream camper and he doesn't believe she will stick with this plan for two weeks. If she goes back to work for him. Of course living in tight quarters relationship progresses it wouldn't be a romance if it didn't.

I really enjoyed this one. I typically really dislike the trope "I can't be that guy for you, I'm not a relationship for type of guy, you know what this is". However this book did a great job giving a back story and giving a legitimate and a realistic traumatic reason.

The chemistry between Miles and Lucy is so great. I love their banter and their natural dialogue. I really appreciated the Spanish phrases in Lucy's dialogue. It really added to her character.

I didn't like that in the first pages of the book it's revealed about Lucy's true feelings for Miles. That basically she has been pining for him and it's continually brought up thru out the book. I'm just not sure this was really needed or really added to their love story,

Last the grandma! She was the best, I loved her dialogue and how supportive she was of her granddaughter. I loved her no filter about Miles

"Lucy's dark eyes light up, and the smile that spreads over her face is pure brilliance, bright and warm like the California sun.
It's about damn time, Hart.
Finally. I finally got it right."

After being ignored and unappreciated by her boss one too many times, Lucy quits. She walks out of Miles' life, determined to become a travel influencer and kiss her life as a personal assistant, as well as the crush she's had on him, goodbye.

Three weeks following resignation day, Miles is a mess. He needs Lucy more than anything to get his work life back in order, so he tracks Lucy down with an offer he knows she can't refuse: an assistant for her to spread the work load with, as well as double her original salary.

Lucy doesn't want to go back to the way things were, so the two wager a bet. Two weeks on the road together and whoever backs out of the roadtrip first, loses. If she loses, she goes back to work for him. If he loses, she gets her annual bonus she forfeited because she quit too early in the year.

These two were such a hilarious pair!! I really loved reading these two get to know each other and read their mental gears shift as they developed feelings for one another. It felt like I was on the road right alongside them as they made their way over to California down Route 66!

I enjoyed the mini bits of vulnerability from these characters, but felt a little rushed through these moments. I felt like I wanted to learn more about them, especially since they spent so much time together.

Such a fun read! This was my first Jennifer Bonds book and it definitely will not be my last.

What a beautiful and vibrant book cover!!! This book was so sweet & fun to read!

Lucy has been in love with her boss, Miles, for the past two years. He undervalues her and doesn’t appreciate all that she does for him. During their latest meeting, Miles is not listening so Lucy decides that she has had enough, hands in her two week notice and decides to become a travel influencer. Miles tries to talk her into coming back but she stands her ground and is scheduled to leave the next day for her trip down Route 66. The next morning Miles comes back again with a plan - he will go on this two week trip with her and even brings a wager to the table! They both did what they could to get the other to lose the bet. Lots of mishaps, lots of adventures, lots of fun!

I really enjoyed this book!.There are parts that I thought could have been a little shorter and others where I thought that it dragged out a bit but overall, it really balanced out really well. It was funny, sweet - even sad at times. I found myself feeling all the feels with this book! The characters are well developed - I especially love Grandma Celeste! I do think that Lucy looks a little desperate in the beginning with her unrequited love but without it she probably wouldn’t follow her dreams…I love the road trip aspect of the story. I would love to take this same trip one day!

I am so excited to find out that this book is a first in a series! I look forward to reading more about the Hart Brothers!

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫3.5 stars!

Lucy is a stressed out assistant to Miles Hart. Feeling unappreciated, she makes the decision to quit and tell her boss that she’s going to peruse a career as a travel influencer. After a couple of weeks without Lucy, Miles realizes how much he needed her. On a mission to get her back as an assistant, he goes to visit her and offers her more money if she will come back. Fighting with her unrequited love for him, she says no, she really wants to try to make it as a travel influencer. Not one to back down, he makes a deal with her that if in two weeks she decides to give up on influencing, she has to go back to work for him. And she said that if she is successful, he has to deal with it, let her go and agree to hire a replacement. Oh, and did I mention, he tags along with her on this trip? Full of cute banter and lots of close encounters, this was a quick paced read for me. My favorite parts were seeing Miles come out of his shell and I liked seeing how they explored new places together. It was a little bit of self discovery and a little bit of seeing each others real personalities and falling for each other along the way. I definite recommend this book of you are a fan of feel good reads. My only critique is that i wish I saw more of the workplace longing in the beginning, the story starts off as she is quitting her position. But that’s just my personal preference, the story was overall a fun read!

"I now know what it means to love. It doesn't have to be bold and splashy like in the movies. Sometimes it's quiet and unassuming, like a marshmallow roasting over an open flame."

The plot is unique, with the workaholic boss (Miles) whose trying to get his assistant (Lucy) to work for him again. There's lots of groveling, bantering and some spicy scenes throughout the story which keeps me interested until the end.

The road trip is my favorite part about this book, the author definitely did a thorough research about all the places which made me felt like I was there with both MCs.

I really like how this road trip also lets Miles and Lucy discover new things about each other, something they never knew even though they've been working with each other for the past 2 years.

However, I wish the pacing was slightly slowed down for the romance part. It happens a bit too fast for Miles to fall for Lucy in the span of two weeks, while Lucy had been pining for two years.

Overall, this is a cute and fun read. The ending was wrapped up nicely with the sweet epilogue as the cherry on top!
I'm looking forward to read more books from this author.

A huge thank you to Netgalley, the author and Entangled Publishing for giving me this e-ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book was a fun, light hearted breath of fresh air! Lucy Gonzalez is the personal assistant to Miles Hart, a self-made billionaire. She gets fed up with not feeling seen by him and quits to become a travel influencer road tripping along Route 66. Miles quickly realizes he need Lucy as his life becomes chaos when she quits, so he makes her a friendly bet. If he wins, she will come back to work for him. If she does, Lucy will get her annual bonus she forfeited upon quitting.

This is a forced proximity romance, which is a trope I love! The connection between Miles and Lucy is genuine and I loved watching it grow as they go through shared experiences on their road trip. Their stops were hilarious, full of crazy hijinks from riding a bull to food poisoning. The level of spice was just right and well written. Lucy has a fire and sass to her that was fun to read. Lucy’s Gran is a free spirited and hilarious secondary character that I could have happily read more about. I loved the author’s writing style and will be looking for more from her!

Read in 24 hours. Miles and Miles of You was a fast-paced, light read.

I would recommend if you loved The Hating Game.

From the start, I wanted more from this story. Miles is a billionaire who doesn't believe in falling in love. Lucy, on the other hand, has had heart eyes for her boss, Miles, for two years now. When Lucy suddenly quits her job to become a travel influencer, I was a little confused about what made her job so insufferable.

When Miles unexpectedly joins her on her journey through Route 66, things get interesting. I enjoyed the drama that unfolded on this two-week road trip but it all happened pretty fast. I appreciated the backstory behind the characters and how it shed some light on their views on love but I needed some more vulnerability for it all to feel real.

Overall, it was a fun read! Thanks to the spice 🔥, the banter, and the drama (plus the hilarious grandmother character) it kept me interested the entire time. 3.5 ⭐️

3.5 Stars!! This was a cute book. Lucy is the ex-employee of Miles, the ex-boss and billionaire because there must be tons of mega hot, washboard abs, single billionaires running around. Most billionaires are more Bill Gates than Hollywood heartthrob. Anyway, Miles seemed like a real ‘Richard’ at the beginning but kinda grew as a caring human being. Lucy didn’t change much from what I could tell but she did become more sassy. This really was cute story but it did have a few fever inducing ‘sexy times’ added in to spice it up.
Lucy wanted to make it as a travel influencer - yeah, who doesn’t?, but she really only becomes popular when Miles is in the pictures? Also how could someone smart enough to become a billionaire not realize how great Lucy is? Although I’ll give him a pass, he is a man after all. (No offense.) Anyway, good book, not great but good enough. Lots of adventure, witty banter, plenty of ‘sexy times’, strong main female, clueless sexy billionaire, and a hamster in an RV.(not a partridge in a pear tree though. Ha!)

From "The things I do for lo— Lucy."

To "“I love you, Lucy Gonzalez, and I will always get the details right when it comes to us.”"

This book was a great read. The author did a fantastic job at the witty banter between the MCs. Lucy is strong, badass and independent. One of the most relatable female MCs I have ever encountered. And Miles was the best boyfriend material I've read about in a while. He has a golden retriever personality yet was still sharp when it counts. Although the blurb provides lots of grovelling and accidental smooches, the plot had the best twists and turns, despite not fulfilling the blurb. But in the best kind of ways.

Looking forward to the next books in the series!

Miles and Miles of You by Jennifer Bonds was a great read! You can get through it in a day and keeps your attention the entire time. I highly recommend it if you need a quick fun read.

I enjoyed the relationship between the two of these characters. Lucy worked for Miles as his assistant for a few years and up and quit when she realized he didn't care or really pay attention to what she was saying. She had enough and planned a two week long road trip across the united states to travel on Route 66.

Miles life fell into shambles and joined Lucy on her trip to try and win her back so she'll come and work for him again. The witty comments and fun banter really kept this book going.

Miles and Miles of You is a fun, fast-paced, and easy read.

That grabbed my attention from the very first page. As Lucy fed up with being ignored by her billionaire boss Miles (who she's been in love with for two years) decides to quit her job and become a travel influencer.

But Miles so lost without Lucy has a plan to get her back. He's going to join Lucy on her maiden trip. Make a bet with her and win. And in doing so Lucy will be back in the office in no time.

However, Lucy is determined to prove Miles wrong and as they travel Route 66 everything changes as the pair get closer.

But what happens when they reach their destination?

And with plenty of travel related escapades, really likable characters and lots of light moments. This was a genuinely engaging and enjoyable read. That I'd happily recommend to others.

cute and spicy

Lucy and Miles are cute and their relationship growth throughout the book is quite funny. The banter and the love hate relationship along with the tension is just a must read for summertime. Another one of those not quite enemies to lovers but almost. I will keep my eye out for this one because I would like to read it again. 4 stars, wish I could do 4.5

Thank you Entangled Publishing LLC and Netgalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I liked the blurb and couldn’t wait to read this book, because — you know it — grovelling!

Sadly there wasn’t much of that, and truth be told I don’t even know why there should be.

Lucy had worked (and pined) for Miles for the past two years, not exactly showing or expressing her feelings to him, and she expected him to like her back? IDK, man.

And then there was the inconsistency. It was implied that Miles didn’t notice Luce and suddenly it turned out he noticed her? I don’t get it. It got confusing at some point.

The plot was okay. The influencer thingy and ambitions and everything, but there weren’t depth in the relationship, just like Miles. I didn’t connected with the characters and it was all very… unexciting.

It was sad, because the premise was promising but the story wasn’t well delivered.

2.5 stars.
