Little ditty about Syn and Diane, two fated mates doing the best they can (IYKYK )

Now it is Syn's time to claim his mate, and he will face challenges along the way, and he is going to have to make some difficult choices.
Diane is tough and resilient, but she can't help but search out Syn. She wants to be happy, but she can't allow herself to be as long as her sister is missing. She has to find her sister. Syn is incredibly intelligent, devoted to his duty (and mate), with a bit of a dirty streak... oo la la. I didn’t know what to expect from Syn, and I was pleased with his character.
But this is more than a love story… It's kind of a bro story too. Syn has always felt like he was the odd man out, not a part of the Elite team, and in this book he will discover that he has more family than ever. (Ayar and Syn = The true bromance lolol)
Rebel was another intriguing story, with wonderful characters and spicy steam. I liked the introduction to the Zio, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes next. I do recommend this book/series, and yes, I will keep reading!

Flying alien angels with 2 🍆 each?\ I’m not 100% how I feel about these concepts yet, but the kidnapped by aliens theme is always amusing to me. Who has dragon people or lizard people or bird people of various types. Bug people? Spider people? Fish people?? Cat people?
What I’ve noticed is that humans are the universal adapter. I’m not sure if that’s our arrogance as a species or the justification as to why people from Earth are in space. There’s only a few ways to go with it. Some other galaxy and time. Somewhere in the future or the whole “elsewhere, in Gotham city”. Unless you allow the Earth people to have made first contact and toss in a reason.
Not much else makes sense. You’re abducted or you chose to go. Earth aware or not aware of aliens? What kind of first contact and what’s the deal and why a deal. Or friend or are humans acting ridiculous and can’t deal with the idea that Earth is a speck in the universe.
It’s fun. And the flying parts are new to me and sound pretty fun. I’m not allergic to birds.

Still left quite a few questions brought up early in the book unanswered. Syn had some potential, but Diana kinda sucked.

Kidnapped from Earth by Aliens. Evil aliens taking people from a place they shouldn't. Taking them for their own gain. Then taken again. These women find themselves in a nightmare of alien creatures who treat them badly. Being rescued by clawed, winged, fanged alien Angels. Can they be trusted?

I felt like this had a different writing style than the previous books, and I’m not sure I didn’t prefer the previous book to this one. There were also some spelling errors, but overall it was enjoyable

This is Syn and Diana’s story. She was abducted with her younger, by ten years, sister. Diana is something of an SAS self defense trained, Indiana Jones but with less museum loyalty and more of a profit motive. Her sister Freya, a doctor, is her primary motivation throughout the book. Mostly fueled by guilt.
“Sure, I’ve done things to get what I want, probably used my body on occasion, too. I can get what I want anytime I want, usually.”
Glitches:
“…in the path of the Kijg whom we know are…” — who
“The eyrie hoves into view.” — comes? hovers?
“…who jinks left and right to avoid the bolts,…” — not sure what is meant by jinks, swerves? jerks?
Syn calls her little spark. Too cute. With Diana’s sort of mercenary background they make a well matched couple. Very goal oriented in an unorthodox way. And you gotta love a guy whose eyes go liquid when he thinks he’s lost his girl. “You are my impossibility, sweet mate.” I really like the way they work together in the interrogations.
“I’m also convinced he had no idea he could crack her in five minutes. He was full of the usual Gryn bravado. The stuff which has them strutting around the eyrie, all fluffed feathers and endless abs. But, dammit, he did crack her. And I’ve lost my bet.”
Diana seems to fall for her guy a bit faster than the others. Even if it’s wrapped up in getting some. “Because if there’s one thing more sexy than a dirty alien angel, it’s one with a smile on his handsome face.”
The Gryn continue to be hilarious. Like when he roses suddenly at the Zio for assistance and then covers himself and Diana with a wing when she reminds him they’re both naked. The mood swings are crazy fast but also snicker worthy. And they are also easily jealous… “I flick out my feathers, attempting to preen but instead I’m preparing to end him.” Diana describes him as, “Syn is a hardened warrior, even if he can be funny, utterly gorgeous, and a complete animal in the bedroom.”
Syn grows a bit, as all the Gryn do when paired up. “Sometimes protecting a female seems to involve actually leaving them behind, which is a very odd concept.” He learned not to care until he meets her.
We also see more of Ustokos coming back to life with the “patches of green.” And learn more about why they’ve been targeted.
I would have liked to learn more about the incredibly intelligent clothing. That was interesting.
This is the fourth book and I’ll be sad to see the end of this series. We should all be so lucky! “I was wondering what it would take before you’d settle down and stop charging around the world doing others’ dirty work. Apparently, it’s alien abduction. Who knew?”

I loved Diana so much! She’s so feisty, brave, resourceful, caring and loyal and has the tendency to charge head-first into danger. I loved her determination to find any means necessary. Even more, he’s had quite the past on Earth and fully intends to use all her skills to achieve her goals. Diana’s definitely a force to be reckoned with!
Syn is one rebellious and troublemaking Gryn! He’s ruthless, ambitious, fearsome, dangerous and is not afraid not to play by the rules if they don’t suit. I loved his confidence, loyalty, delicious possessiveness and fierce protectiveness. He might think that he doesn’t fit anywhere but that spectacular badass warrior is just where he’s supposed to be. And I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!
I absolutely adored everything that happened between Diana and Syn. There was so much tension in the beginning, sticking to only being friends. But, their chemistry was fantastic and I absolutely loved their banters and teasing. Even more, Diana and Syn were also a fantastic team and I loved seeing them working together and helping one another. And when they finally gave in to their undeniable need for one another, the spice was pure perfection! Oh, Syn fully lives up to his name - that dirty-mouthed bad boy will destroy your knickers! And I have two words for you: “zero-gravity mating”. 😏 Syn and Diana were so perfect for each other and I couldn’t get enough of them!
In addition, the storyline was fantastic. The Drahon are a dangerous enemy that needs to be dealt with and their queen is cunning and treacherous. Even more, I loved that we got to meet new species inhabiting Ustokos, who’ve been keeping important secrets. And I really loved that the trigger happy Elite Unit gets to wreak havoc again (yes, Ayar gets to do what he loves most). I also really liked Diana’s sister and found her quite intriguing.
Overall, the story is another outstanding addition to the series. It’s filled with non-stop action, danger, humor, twists, suspense, drama, scorching hot romance and magnificent characters.
I couldn’t put it down and loved every single page of it!
And I can’t wait to see what will happen next!

Diana is single minded. Her sister was with her when they were abducted by aliens, and they were separated before Diana was saved by the Gryn. Diana will do whatever it takes to get her sister back.
Syn is a methodical, strategic and calculating Gryn warrior. The woman he knows to be his mate doesn't want a relationship, so he will be her friend, at her side when she is ready. He knows how to move up the ranks, get ahead, play on the razors edge of the rules... but does he truly understand what is driving and motivating Diana? Or are women a great mystery to this man?
This done in one Kindle unlimited book moves the overarching arc forward nicely while truly focusing on Syn and Diana. As these two characters are getting to know each other they take the time to reflect on themselves, think about how they have lived their lives... I love stories where true love brings out the best in each other, but this goes a step further. These characters grow, mature, and gain a clarity of vision that allows them to see moments in their past where they weren't their best selves, and they know that because the person they are now would have made a different, seemingly better choice.
I am really looking forward to more in this universe.

This is Syn and Diana's story. Syn is the resident tech genius and a bit of a Rebel. He wants to be accepted by his gryn brothers but breaks the rules often getting himself into trouble. Until he rescues Diana she perfect I. Every way and he wants her but the coming battle with the race of lizard like beings that want to enslave the planet must come first at!east that's what he tells himself. Diana she was a tough hard nosed archeologist who took no shit and wasn't afraid of much that is until she was abducted by aliens along with her brilliant doctor sister. Now she's safe but her sister is still lost to her and she will doing anything to get her back she doesn't have time for the gorgeous gryn warrior Syn and all the delicious promises his eyes tell her her when ever they meet. Nope no time at least that's what she tells herself. Both are absolutely wrong. They're connection is too strong to ignore neither one of them have ever felt like they belong until each other. Can they destroy the enemy, save Diana's sister and allow their relationship to blossom into a love an passion neither one can !I've without? You need to read and find out! I loved this story.
Diana is smart and head strong. She is also feeling guilty about her sister being abducted by aliens with her. Very persistent in the quest. I loved how she never gives up. She goes head first into any situation. Thinking on her feet to get out of situations most people would never get into to begin with. She is a true warrior.
she is also Syn's "little spark".
I'm glad it's Syn and Diana. They are perfect for each other, with like minds. They have such great chemistry. Even though they make a deal to be "just " friends until they find her sister. His persuasions were fun to read. He is like all Gryn, possessive, protective and committed. I love how he relies on her to help him with a mission. Even though it goes against the rules. After all they are there for a reason but if it doesn't go with the plan they will be broken.

We read about another new species. Are they friend or foe? Will they help with the new enemy ?

My end n my beginning
Diana is just one of the females abducted from Earth by the aliens known as the Drahon. She's rescued by the Gryn but her sister Freya is still in the clutches of the Drahon. She will never give up searching for her but she needs help from the Gryn, a certain Gryn who shadows behind her, Syn. When he approaches her for help getting information from the captured Drahon Queen she makes her own requests from him. Help me find my sister n I will help you .
Sun is ordered to find out the codes from the Drahon Queen to contact their fleet surrounding Ustokos. The Gryn want a peaceful surrender from them without fighting but the Queen has her own agenda. With Diana's help he manages to get the information he needs n also the attention of the female he's been secretly hoping to mate with.
Whoa what an enticing story. These Gryn warriors r totally dreamy. Where r they located n where can I sign up to find my true mate. I want someone to say, no, I "need "someone to say ....(You're my eregri, and you have my bond. I will "always" protect you. You're my boundless flight, my perfect mate. My end and my beginning.) Learning about Syn from previous novels, it was nice to understand a bit more about him. Diana in her search for her sister Freya made for an interesting partner with Syn. It made me smile to see how both of them were so independent and perhaps had slightly different agendas than the other warriors and human women. It was quite entertaining watching this pair work together amidst disagreements and steamy moments. Syn certainly liked to explicitly describe all the steamy things he planned to do to Diana! I liked how the story was resolved and a HEA realized for this pair while ongoing hints for the next story and couple was suggested.

I loved this book. I was sucked into the story right away. I really liked Diana from the start. She fun, smart, determined, and resourceful. She's trying to find her missing sister after they had been abducted by aliens, which she blames herself for. Now if only the Gryn would let her go search. Syn was awesome. He'll follow rules, but go past them if needed. He doesn't quite fit in with the others, but he's strong and ambitious. When he accepts an important mission, he knows exactly whose help he wants to recruit. Syn and Diana have such amazing chemistry. I loved watching them dance around their attraction, anticipating when they'd give in. A fun read I couldn't put down. 5 stars.

I've loved every book so far in this series, but think I now have a new favourite! This is Syn and Diana's story, and after dancing around each other for so long, our two misfits both fall hard and dare to dream of a new life path together.
This is an exciting, fast paced and passionate book that I could not put down! We learn more about the evolution of the Gryn warriors, get to meet new alien species (some more helpful than others) and finally see the resolution of a couple plot points. I can't wait for Huntr and Jen's story to come out next!.

The latest in the Gryn Warriors series by Hattie Jacks tell us Syn's story. He's the one who has been on the sidelines in other books in this series. His back story is one filled with self doubt and uncertainty. But one of the humans needs to find her sister - kidnapped by the Drahon and if Syn wants her to agree to the mated bond he knows exists between them, then he needs to help her. So defying orders from his Prime - he puts rescuing the sister at the top of his list of priorities.
The series is addictive and Hattie is an awesome author. I know when I see her name on the cover of a book - I'm in for a treat.

Listen, was this the worst book I've read this year? no. That award goes to Gild, hands down. But was this good? ESPECIALLY up against Ice Planet Barbarians? Not even close. I did finish it, but I didn't actually read most of what was on the pages, it was a constant flipping book. The spicy bits were GREAT, except for the fact that they were all no more than a brief paragraph long (like 2-4 sentences. really?? that's the WHOLE reason I'm reading this book, and that's all you're giving me?). I'm glad this was free on Amazon because if I had paid for this book, I'd be mad. Save your time and read something else.

Gryn warriors are back in this fourth book in the Elite Rogue Alien Warrior series, and they’re just as hot, steamy and intense when it comes to their fated mates. Syn (H) will do anything for Diana (h), even if it means going against orders. She's desperate to find her sister who is still trapped with the Drahon and she's not above using Syn's attraction to her to help with her task. Lots of action and adventure await the pair! Interesting new allies too. And wow, the ultra-hot and steamy action is so insanely good - how can it not be with wings and special eggplants?

Trouble Loves Syn
Diana and her sister were alien abducted and then separated, and Diana’s been searching since she was rescued by the Gryn. Syn frequently flouts the rules, and when he makes a bargain with Diana to help her, rules are bound to be broken. This dirty-talking alien and a woman who’s searching for trouble - what could go wrong? Syn and Diana might just be the sexiest and most fun couple in this series - they play hard and fight hard and, most importantly, they do it together. I loved this book and I am loving this series - I can’t wait for Huntr’s book.

On the wings of a prayer!
Rebel is book 4 in the Elite Rogue Alien Warriors series and this is yet another great story. Syn has been a mystery for many books now and Diana has been so consumed with finding her sister that she cares for nothing else.
I love the dynamic between this couple and I love that Syn breaks all the rules for Diana. Throw in rutting/mating fever, lots of adventure and excitement and that we finally meet the Zio one of the mysterious species on Ustokos (spider-like creatures) and Rebel is a joyful and fun read. And, let’s not forget Syn’s innocent antics’s regarding anything new to him is laugh out loud funny and adorable.
I not only recommend Rebel but the entire Rogue Alien Warrior and Elite Rogue Alien Warrior series’. Also don’t forget to click the link at the back of the e-book for access to bonus epilogue that should not be missed!
Also seek out the novella Feast. It is fantastic and I recommend reading it before Wrath.

Wow, what a fantastic book! In the words of the Gryn, I vrexing love it!!! I have read all of these books by Hattie Jacks and enjoyed every one of them. The characters and world building are superb and Syn and Diana's story pulls out all the stops. It can be read as a standalone but why do that when they are all great and there's so much enjoyment and satisfaction to be gained from the development of the overarching storyline. Start with the first one, Fierce, and enjoy them all.

Syn and Diane. Only one goal is on Diane's mind and that's finfing her sister. Reluctantly Syn agrees and thus their journey off planet starts. Of course things go easy and as planned, riiiight? Nope, not when it involves a Gryn who only wants to mate...

Diana wants to help find her sister, and she’ll do anything to make it happen. She’s got Syn wrapped around her little finger and taking advantage of it, but she also helps him with his goal. Both were lost, but together they will become much more….. if they can survive the danger that follows them.

Dirty Talking Love
I throughly enjoyed reading about Syn and Diana. She was so hard-headed and determined, just what Syn needed to keep him on his toes! Those two were a fierce couple, pure adrenaline junkies. I loved the action, the dialogue and the steam! They might be my favorite couple now.

Amazing as usual for Hattie Jacks! I feel like I’ve been waiting for this one for a long time. Diana and Syn are worth waiting for! Steamy, hot, sci-fi, action packed perfection! I can’t wait for the next book!.

Amazing
Simply amazing book, and I cannot wait to read the next book. I love how syn managed to help Diana with her mission. And the uprising they found in space.let alone the secret the zio have been keeping. I did see orvos 8s finally going to get a mate and so cannot wait to read it

Fast paced action and love story!!!
If you like fast paced action and falling in love stories this is a good one. The human Diana doesn’t understand a fated mate type bond, but she has a burning desire to rescue her sister Freya from the Drahon. Syn has the skills and the need to be close to Diana. Will the two of them be enough to complete a rescue? Enjoy!!!

Syn and Diana are such a fun, daring, couple! They truly are the most perfectly matched pair, as both are unable to stay out of trouble or follow rules! They go from one disaster to another, all while falling for each other. Such a fun and exciting tale! Ayar and Syn have a hilarious situation toward the end! I couldn’t stop laughing, crying, and flipping pages! Loved this story!

Great Read
Sorry for the spoilers. I was so happy that this couple gets together and are able to accomplish so much for the Gryn. Glad that they found what they were looking for. Well written storyline and great characters. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
