No one ever grows up thinking that they want to be a toy for a rich master, but sometimes life just leaves no choice.

Abandoned on the steps of a brothel, I grew up not expecting much from human kind. I knew what my life would be and it wasn’t mine to control. No options, no opinions, no climax, and no freedom. Catching the eye of the prince and being whisked away to luxury was no rescue. A cage made of gold and jewels is still a cage.

So when the prince is shipped off to another kingdom, I, as his slave, will go with him. Adventure is the one thing I’ve always craved, and I think I’ve found a spark of hope—until it all comes crashing down. An avenging storm that seemed determined to destroy the ship, left me fighting for my life and pleading to the gods for a rescue. When I thought all was lost I awoke to find myself in the care of strangers in a foreign land. I thought I was safe until they saw my eyes and called me a monster.

Why did the gods save me just to let me die here? What dangers hide in the misted forest of this strange land? And why do I finally feel both safe and free when I’m surrounded by danger?

I feel a pull to the eyes I see gleaming in the darkness. The monsters. Every question I ask? They answer. I never believed I would find peace at all, especially among the teeth, claws, fur, and tentacles of those that call me theirs. I want to stay here forever.

If the past doesn’t find me first…

I was so intrigued by the beautiful cover and I hoped this book would satiate my obsession with sirens but … I struggled from the first chapter.

The book's concept wasn’t original but that was fine because it seemed fun. My main issues were the manner the fmc’s backstory was dealt with and the writing of the characters.

From the beginning of the book you learn that Kezia (the fmc) was a prostitute but a few sentences after and it turns out prostitution meant … enslavement. I feel like the author confused the profession of a sex worker with enslavement. Or maybe the writing was obscure!
The fact is that this girl was a sex slave with a painful past but it was written with a naivety that didn’t allow me to care. And funnily enough, neither the fmc cared. In the first chapters, Kezia was written with such detachment from her life. Maybe it would have worked out if her inner monologues weren’t written as if she was a self-observed, snobby teen, starring in her own terrible soap opera. Her apathy didn’t derive from the suffering she had endured. Some of her problems were that she found the sex parties she had to attend boring, nobody was good enough to satisfy her sexual needs or that the prince that had bought her was actually her friend but he also might have feelings for her.

I reached my limit when the love interests were more concerned about the fmc’s missed Os than her being forced her whole life. I would have gladly applauded that the fmc retained her sexuality although her horrible past, if it was written with more respect and growth.

The writing was very hasty as if we were rushing to get to the “good part” but we have to go through the “boring stuff” first?

Another issue was the way the characters were written. Their inner monologues were childish, cringy, or bland. The love interests were supposed to be the most powerful monsters but acted blandly and their personality consisted of a main trait. For example, her Raven liked to eat souls. That’s it. And of course, it was insta-love without build-up or chemistry.

Lastly, the fmc went from disinterest to being exaggeratingly happy in a matter of a few pages. And although all the crazy stuff happening, there was a dense lack of reactions from her. I didn’t expect realism. Obviously. Monsters and magic exist in that book! However, Kezia’s reactions and thoughts were sadly unnatural and ultimately not genuine.

Did I like it? No.
Would I reread it? DNF.

This book was FANTASTIC y’all! If you love monsters, magic, schemxy times and a truly original storyline then look no further! A Siren of Beasts was so brilliantly written, in true Elizabeth Knight goodness, that I never wanted to put this book down. This story was so intriguing, with each new tidbit I greedily devoured I grew more and more captivated. This story was so original and unique and I loved seeing the world created come to life through the words written on the pages. I adore these characters, they brought so much life and personality to the book that it was hard not to fall in love with them immediately. Trust me when I say this book is a MUST read!

I'm not much of a monster lover. Don't get me wrong. I love monster romances if they're well written and if the monsters are interesting, but I don't love them by default. However, when I saw that this book had a siren I knew I had to read it. I love sirens. I love the idea that the sound of your voice has so much power and can literally change minds and emotions and feelings. I was therefore really happy that the author sent me an arc.

The beginning of the book felt a little slow. The author did a great job painting a picture of the kind of life our heroine had, of the people she was surrounded by, how she was used, how she was treated. However, there was not much dialogue in those parts which made it a little hard to read. But once our heroine met her monsters and mates the story really got started! And although the focus was mostly on the relationships, we also got glimpses of a really intriguing plot.

What I loved most about this book is that the monsters really are monsters. They see the world differently from humans. They experience the world differently from humans. They have different habits and different needs and different longings. It makes it a little hard to connect with them right away, but slowly I grew to love their protectiveness, their madness, their scars and their endless love for our heroine.

I also like how realistic the growth and development of the heroine feels. All her life she has known only one kind of life and future and now she's all of a sudden thrown into a different kind of life, learning that she's mated to monsters and that she's not entirely human herself. She therefore messes up, says the wrong things or has absolutely no idea what to do or how to react, but she's learning. I can't wait to see her grow some more in future books!

This is definitely an interesting story. Kezia is abandoned as a child, left outside a brothel that clothes her and feeds her until she's old enough to pay her own way as well as pay them back for their years of care. That leads to a chance encounter with a prince of the realm who claims her as his own, though he does loan her out to his friends. It's the only life she's ever known, one where while her body is used, the prince lets her learn and expand her knowledge and mind. When the prince is sent away he takes her and one other with him, but what they don't plan on is their ship capsizing and Kezia being the only survivor who is whisked off into the land of the monsters.

I really like Kezia, even though she's basically a lady of the night, she owns the role and doesn't feel ashamed of who she has become. She's smart and knows her own mind. She even takes being taken by monsters in her stride.

I can't decide who my favourite guy is, but then again it's a why choose romance so honestly I don't have to pick just one. They all have their own pros and cons and Kezia adores them for it, even when they're at each others throats.

I'm intrigued to see where this story goes and how Kezia and her mates defeat the evil that's coming.

A soul tastes better when it’s been won in the heat of battle.”

I love Kezia. Of the guys, love Hisceas out of all of them. I'm tolerating the rest, then Grieth is on my last motherfucking nerve with how childish he is.

“So, do I have any say in the matter or do I just have to live with whatever choices you both make for my life?” my mate asked.

Let me get the bad out of the way. When Grieth is introduced, I was like, okay, let's see where this is going, until the first instance when he started talking about Kezia as my mate and at the time he couldn't even talk. Given the background she'd come from with Barnaby I was like hmpf, okay.

Then add on Rhun into the mix and they were back and forth with the childish bickering, aiiii, he better change by book 2.

A peal of laughter filled the air, setting me at ease as my mate’s joy filled the air around us. “Gods, if only you understood how funny this is. The whore to a prince is really an offspring to a queen and now gets her own harem of monsters.”

And now the question becomes, how many dicks is too many dicks? So far we have 6(7) of them and the infighting is at an all time high, and clearly we haven't even covered the basics in Project Take Back The Land, so it currently isn't looking like a sustainable future.

The smut was hot and because I've clearly stated Hisceas is my favourite, their scene was my favourite. Rhun wasn't bad. Grieth is just not making my list due to his petty, juvenile antics.

The overall world building? Not bad, towards the last ⅓ though it felt like a lot of repetition, thinking and discussion without the plot really moving forward.

The dialogue isn't boxed into the time period when this should be taking place and that is an advantage and disadvantage as there are scenes where some of the dialogue is basically 2022, so it takes you out of the book but at the same time, I wouldn't be reading it if we were on my lady dialogue 24/7.

So, looking forward to book 2 in the new year. Loved it as it was a strong book to finish 2022 with.

Slow pacing with super details

The book is interesting and starts off with our FMC who is a person who is basically a concubine though that’s not what she calls herself. Not sure if the zon mods would let me use the verbiage used in the book but suffice to say she’s in the skin trade, though not completely by choice. Then she learns of this new place and falls into it super easily, but I just didn’t like how quick it went, but I mean once I realized that’s what this was I didn’t have an issue. There were some grammar and spelling issues in this book, and that could be a little jarring. I like the FMC’s harem they are an interesting cast of characters and it’s a fun read. I dislike where it ended and the plot is a little weak imo. This is going to be more PNR fast burn sex is the plot than an Urban Fantasy or slow burn. Overall it isn’t terrible but for me the pacing was a little too slow and a little too detailed for my tastes. I personally don’t need two to five pages of description of the house, decor, car, clothes etc. I also get bored when there’s tons of internalizing and not a lot of dialogue this needed just a tad bit more of dialogue.

Also some chapters didn’t note who was speaking but we were to just assume who it was based on context whereas some chapters denote who is speaking. It was annoying because when it didn’t note who was speaking I would assume it was the previous narrator until told otherwise. The males in the harem also used different nicknames for each other and that was jarring bc it was differ than what the FMC would call them but they never mentioned this nickname until it was used but I would sometimes not know who they were talking about until I pieced together their name. That was a little jarring.

I dislike the cliffhanger ending I felt like it wasn’t the best place to end it felt like an abrupt ending honestly and zero conclusion to a lot of things usually there’s at least a sub plot conclusion idk if we even had one.

I couldn’t wait to get started on the first book in this series. First things first this book had trigger warnings. The FMC Kezia was abandoned on the front steps of a brothel while growing up she just had no expectation of humans. She never had any control of her life with no options, opinions or freedom. Everything all changed when she was whisked away by Prince to another part of life with no escape. That all changed but when the prince had a commitment to keep and the prince wanted Kezia to go with him, she had no option but to pack her things and go, while out at sea a massive storm hit and the ship was destroyed leaving her as the only survivor. She hopping being saved would change things for her having no owner now but once she woke up in a village they were out to kill her for being a monster. Finally she finds a place within the monsters but life will not be easier to her. This book is done In MPOVs including from her guys. So far she has only found a few mates can’t wait to find out how many she ends up with. This book is also filled with mystery and secrets and I can’t wait for it all to unravel. Was t sure how the fun would go down but dam I loved every dirty hot minute of it!! Dam gutted they way this book ended but buzzing for the next one!!

Be warned that some of the content in this book might not be for everyone. A Siren of Beasts is a different take on the monster RH romance i thought. Kezia (FMC) has had a difficult upbringing that leads her to becoming shipwrecked on a strange island but one that seems to be linked to her. Which she discovers more so as the book progressed and the more of her history is revealed. The monsters here on this island are all suffering from the affects of a madness that tied into Kezia but honestly i think that them more interesting especially with their interactions with each other. Plenty of steamy scenarios and plot twists. As well as and ending that im dying to find out where it will lead in the next book. A cracking read

This was quite the adventure tale from a new-to-me author. I really loved her world building and how fascinating she made all her characters. Told in multiple POVs, I really enjoyed how Kezia was strong, smart and accepting of her lot in life, and the subsequent unexpected change of her life path. There is a fair bit of mystery in here, a lot of steam and some truly intriguing mates...which I think there will be more of ;P Can't wait to see who else she ends up with and how her story continues to unfold in the next installment....mind the cliffy ;D

Wow, honestly wow!
This book mesmerised me from the very beginning, I was completely hooked.
It’s like nothing I’ve ever read before, so unique and utterly brilliant.
The intriguing storyline had me not being put the book down until the very last word.
Kezia is a great character, being the sole survivor of the ship capsizing and ending up in a land full of people either scared of her or monsters. I really love how she knows herself and doesn’t spook easy, even with the monsters.
I found this whole new world interesting, especially the history.
Can’t wait to read more of this series

Holy cow ! This book starts out steamy and keeps on going.
Kezia always felt like she didn’t belong in the life she was in at the beginning and boy was she right. She discovers who she truly is and also finds herself some tasty monster mates. Now there is always something horrible lurking and now she and her mates are scrambling to protect her from what’s coming. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Kezia finds herself all alone in a strange land whose people seem to hate and fear her. I love how strong she is a show as she is just trying to survive she discovers things about herself and who she really is. The monsters are monsters, but the best kind. There are steamy scenes and plenty of action and mysteries to solve along the way.

An epic fantasy with action and drama galore. I love it when the monsters are the good guys. Kezia is a strong woman who has lived a difficult life. After a shipwreck, in which she was the only survivor, she becomes so much more than she had been. The storyline is intricate and I was fully drawn into the action. I love that the characters are all unique and each have their own difficult histories. I am looking forward to book 2.

Elizabeth Knight can do no wrong. She is one of my favorite authors, whatever she writes I'm gonna read it without question. The universe aligned right and Liz decided to write a monster romance. A Siren of Beasts is the first book in the Found by the Monsters series and it had me rejoicing. I knew I was gonna love this book but really I had no idea. Liz has topped herself.

This is a fantasy world where the mfc, Kezia, is a sex worker, not by choice, as a baby she was left at a brothel and had no other options. Instead of letting her circumstances destroy her, Kezia took the positive from her situation, having an education that women are denied, learning things most people would never know, and more. Kezia's thirst for knowledge and refusal to see her life as a horror is honorable. I love how smart and capable she is, she's a strong woman, made that way because she had no one who cared for her until a bunch of monsters came into her life.

Kezia has formed herself one heck of a motley crew. First, there was Hisceas, a sea monster (think Kraken) who is a gentle giant and Kezia's protector. Rhun is a hellhound who is super cuddly and totally enamored with Kezia. Now the other two are super complicated, there's the one with multiple personalities, Milin and Morath. One is a calm and peaceful guide, and the other is a jerk. Finally, there's Grieth (aka Imp), the raven. Grieth is best described as a psychopath that has ADHD. Gods, I love the psychos, Grieth has this unique blend of childlike qualities and serial-killer tendencies that blend seamlessly together. Plus the stuff that comes flying out of his mouth, I couldn't help but smile or laugh. All the guys treasure and adore Kezia she's their everything. The guys truly love her with all that they are and it melts my heart. I love it.

Liz took monster romance to a whole new level, the amount of thought put into this story is unreal. The steam was good but the plot was utterly fantastic. Then add in a dangerous forest, a selfish prince, a shipwreck, the reappearance of an old enemy, and something called the madness all come together to tell the tale. Liz put incredible detail into the magic system, the complicated backstory that is pieced together throughout the story that leads to the beginning of this story, the creation magic, and best of all the unique and varying monsters represented in this book. There was a Kraken, naga, Ent, and more. Liz didn't shy away from the monstrous parts of her characters either, these men's beastly parts are very prevalent, and there is no stunning human alternative form, this truly is a monster romance and while I do love a gorgeous guy, I also found the monstrous ones intriguing and Liz incorporated that into the story wonderfully.

A Siren of Beasts is an excellent start to the series. Liz has created a compelling story that I couldn't put down and have no clue as to where the story is going. Not to mention the complexity of these characters who I couldn't help but love. I said it before and I'll say it again, Liz is a freaking genius. I'm already gearing up for the next book, Tamer of Beast is gonna be awesome.

No matter whether it's contemporary or paranormal, Elizabeth Knight blows me away every time. I've been floundering after the ending of Two Tricks that the start of this paranormal series is just what I needed. If you're a lover of monster romances, this one is going to be a favorite! You get some major variety in personality, appearance, powers, and other, ahem, important things. Kezia sure has her hands full with this group! And the best thing is that by the end of this book, you aren't really sure if these are the final members of the harem or if Kezia will continue to draw more monsters in as the story continues and as she grows stronger.

I love Kezia's character because she has so much room for growth. She goes into these relationships not expecting a thing and gaining everything. For someone with the past that she has had, that is a major change. To be in charge of her own desires and make the rules instead of following them, to be open to feelings and be cared for instead of just being a toy to be passed around. I love seeing her slowly come around to this new world and learn to accept that she is worthy of being loved and cherished despite her past.

Kezia is already so powerful and showing the potential for more that I can't wait to see what becomes of her in the next book. Danger is on its way but will it be a match for the new queen? I honestly don't think anyone will be prepared for the strength she has. Unlike her mother, I don't believe she will be able to be manipulated so easily. Time will tell!

A Siren of Beasts starts a brand new series with an amazing group of characters so far! Our main female, Kezia, is incredibly strong, adaptable, and understanding. She was “raised” by the whorehouse she was abandoned at as an infant and became the prized personal whore to the prince. Knowing she was different from everyone else, but still believing that she would never have a life aside from being a slave whore, she still learned everything the prince was willing to teach. While traveling, the boat they are in capsized in a storm. Kezia has enough need to escape and live that she finds a way to try to save herself, and with a little help from a guardian, she is brought to an island to be healed. However, when she wakes, she finds that everyone believes she is a monster. With no choice but to escape into the forest, where she begins to meet monsters. She’s never heard of them and doesn’t know which are trying to eat her, kill her, or help her. What is she supposed to think or do when some she feels connected to and they claim they are mates? What about when the truth of who and what she is begins to become clear? So far, her harem is a group of very strong, yet incredibly different monsters who are unique and seemingly devoted to the concept of mates. I have a couple I’m favoring, but truly like them all so far. The story is unique, the characters are amazing, and I’m so looking forward to the next book!

Monsters, Madness and Magic!
This is a great first book in the series, I blitzed through it! There’s plenty of mystery and intrigue going on to keep you going 😄
Our FMC Kezia has been raised in a brothel after being an abandoned baby, and so you can imagine her profession! Rather than be ashamed she owns it, especially when she becomes the kings favourite and gets what she can out of it including an education 🙌🏻 yet Kezia realises there’s something slightly different between her and the others, not only in her appearance but also in what her body can do!
After a life-threatening adventure….Kezia finds herself in ‘The Hallowed Forest’ and at the mercy of monsters 😫 but not all are that terrible and are being drawn to her and what she’s giving off 😍 which we learn is all about her heritage and raises more questions about what’s going on with the forest and the monsters 🙈
The types of monsters in this book are different, they’re recognisable as parts of myths/legends but they’ve been given something different! Imp is a brilliant character you can’t help but giggle at him and his actions especially with fiery Rhun, 😍 Hisceas, Milin/Moreath all have various characteristics and each bring something different…and then there’s the new guy to throw in 🥰 they all have shall we say enhanced appendages and know exactly how to use them 🌶️🔥
I’m really looking forward to the next one and seeing what else we uncover 😄

Wowza, that was amazing!

We start the book with our FMC Kezia in a pretty dark world with no way out, so if you have triggers I definitely encourage you to take a look at those before picking this up.

Once she escapes that world, and reconnects with the land of her origin, she begins to come into her magic and true-self. On this journey she collects a few strong and stubborn soulmates along the way.

There's lots of intrigue with twists/turns - some obvious, some more surprising. Im sure there are more to come, especially if we learn more of her mother's time with her captor. I love Kezia's new found-family of deadly monsters and look forward to getting to know more about them as they navigate how to work with one another - especially when some are born mortal-enemies.

The spice was great, Kezia's mates (so far) all have special abilities that leaves our girl wholly-satisfied. Each one is described as a unique monster familiar to most of us but with some unique changes. I imagine this series will only get spicier as it continues - I especially look forward to her bonding with her newest mate (👀 we wont read too much into what that says about me LOL).

If I had one complaint I would say, at times, the magic all felt a little too convenient, but the world is unique and the characters are very likable so I've decided not deducted any stars for that. I had a very hard time putting this book down and look forward to reading more of this series!

This is my first Elizabeth Knight book and let’s just say I’m definitely a fan. I went into this book pretty blind aside from knowing it was a monster why choose and I have no regrets! The author did a great job with world building and giving descriptive character growth throughout the book!

I loved our FMC Kezia and felt I related to her quite heavily in terms of how she views her life and her past trauma. She’s not one to sit around and nope or pity her lot in life. She understands what has happened to her and although she’s not happy about it she’s also not going to let it dictate her path or her mental well being. She’s basically ready to just, keep on keepin on, and I loved that! Once she meets her monsters the story really takes off and I will say I quite enjoyed the monsters being in form or possessing monster characteristics.

There was definitely some good tension and angst that I loved and I’m glad not all of the monsters get along. With being worshipped by so many it’s good to have a little healthy competition thrown in the mix, it lead to some very good spicy scenes! 😏🥵

Overall, I’m excited to see how everything is going to play out, especially with the little cliffhanger the book ended on! I definitely recommend giving this a read if you enjoy monster romances with plot twists!

"A Siren of Beasts" is the first book in the "Found by the Monsters" series; a series filled with original characters and some interesting world building...

I jumped into this book without reading the blurb; this author has proven herself enough to me to give whatever she writes a go, and I'm honestly glad I did that. It helped me to expect the unexpected, and this book takes some turns along the way that I enjoyed. I'm not always a huge fan of monster RH series, but there are some very interesting characters in this series and I actually like how prominent their monster forms are. I can't wait to see who else might pop up from the mist in the second book...

Kezia is a pretty original fmc; even though her life has never been her own she is not jaded or traumatized by any of the things that happened in her past. She has an intriguing character and personality, and I'm looking forward to see more from her in the rest of this series. And then there are the men/monsters: With a bigger harem, I always like tension between the men and there is plenty to find here! The way they constantly battle with each other creates some very entertaining scenes, and Imp is my favorite in those.

Interesting start to a new series, and one that will definitely be liked by lovers of the monster RH genre.

Wow. This book was crazy! Inventive and overall, just a crazy imaginative story line!

Kazia was dropped off as a baby on the doorstep to a whore house. As shes grown up, it's been the only thing she knows...for the last 26 years. Deep down she feels like she differs from the other women around her, but she can never find out why and when she sings... it's like a whole new world, just for her.

When she and Prince Barnaby set sail, she never thought they'd end up capsized and she would finally be free. She also never thought she'd be classified as a monster. Monsters don't even exist, right?

Now in a forest, hiding from humans, Kezia finds herself with so many questions and with monsters that claim she's their soulmate. Milin/Moreth, Grieth, Hisceas, Rhun and now Zyrmus all claim Kezia owns a piece of their soul so when one of them claims they know about Kazia's mother, Queen Lixera and the Wizard Azedor, it seems Kezia finally might be getting the answers she deserves.

With twists and turns and a fantastic story line - not to mention monstrously sexy, this book is a wild ride of emotions and one big epic proportion of jumbled secrets and madness. I can't wait to see how book two goes! I loved everything about it all.

*Overall 4/5
*Heat? 5/5
*Fast Burn Heat...
*Slow/Med for storyline but it was amazing
*RH
*No MM (As of yet)
*Ends on cliffhanger

**I believe the biggest difference is that when a monster chooses their mate there is nothing they wouldn't do for them**

So this is the first book in a new series :
Kezia isn't human, she is a monster, she is a siren, but not any kind of Siren, the type of Siren who attracts beasts and monster.
I have to say I didn't know where the first chapters were going.
She was human ( as far as she knew ) working as a wh**e in a castle for the youngest prince ( of smexy scenes bother you that's not the book for you )
I was trying to see who were the mains male characters, and who would be a random or a villain,
Turn out Barnaby will be nothing more than Fish Food.
We quickly learn there is seven types of monster ( I'd love to know a bit more on those as I was confused a few times )
Kezia is set to have several mates, we already a few of them ( but I have to wonder if she will have a mate from each monster type )

This a fast burn ( really really fast, like lightning ⚡ fast )
What am I looking forward to in the next book:
- more interactions and growth between the guys are for now they range from ( I hate you to Meh I can stand you a bit )
- more about the monsters
- more about Kezia's power
- more mates ? Maybe ??
- group 🥵🥵🥵

A Siren of Beasts gives readers something new from Elizabeth Knight. A young woman, abandoned at a brothel as a child, grows up there, but one day catches the eye of a prince. You'd think being whisked away to his palace would potentially mean a new life and a new beginning for her, but it's not. Instead, that comes when he takes on a trip to go to another country. During this voyage, everything changes. She loses a friend, her master, but gains her freedom. But what she also gains is the interest of creatures that have stayed in the shadows. She's going to learn exactly what it is that has made her so different from those around her.
A Siren of Beasts is a fantastic story that will keep you page-turning to the very end of this first book. Revelations, steamy moments, adventure, danger and so much more. You're going to be eager for book two before you're even done with book one. Page by page the characters will grow, develop and show you just who they are and how they are each connected to each other. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
I'm rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. I could have used a little more sexy steamy uniqueness in certain elements but this book is definitely part of a series I look forward to more from.

Monsters and Beasts are not newcomers to the romance genre, but few books on monsters and beasts are done with such an artistic mind at the helm. Right away, we are thrust in to the day to day life of a palace whore. Liked by her master, able to withstand the rigors of the life, but nothing is truly fulfilling. Just as I wonder if Barnaby was going to have some sort of character redeeming that included him in Kezia's harem, or at least a sympathetic character, we thrust into the meat and bones of this story. And oh, is it a satisfying meat and bones. The real magic of the story begins when Kezia is awoken and feared immediately. Who she is, and where she belongs comes into questions, and we slowly begin to come face to face with a veritable menagerie of beasts and monsters who come to her side. If you thought you knew monsters, you'll have to rearrange your thinking. Some of the creatures Kezia calls are fantastical in all the best ways, and I'm highly intrigued with the less than human appearances of many of the,. Yet, she responds to them with a humanity and ability and willingness to help that leaves no doubt that human status isn't required for love. I can't wait for the second book, and hope anyone who has climbed aboard the monster train, steps off here for a read.

A Siren of Beasts

This is one of those books that grabs your attention from the beginning and takes you on an emotional journey. Our FMC Kezia started life off being abandoned on the steps of a house of ill repute.

The things that she goes through were sometimes hard for me to get through emotionally. So I definitely recommend you read the trigger warnings to ensure that you are well informed.

The really great thing about this book, author and our FMC is that she understands that the foundation she is placed upon is rocky, she is under no false pretenses that her life will be easy, but she doesn’t bend! She finds the strength to go through the very lows, and she finds small moments of happiness.

If you enjoy books that have the ability to grab your imagination and take you into their world and out of yours…then this is a book for you. Monsters are real and come in all shapes and sizes…and somehow Kezia finds her mates in this new world.

Join Kezia’s journey as she learns that she isn’t as powerless as others tried to make her believe, she was born with an intrinsic power…she just needs to be willing to wield it!
