The Wolf King's Lair 5: A Dungeon Core LitRPG Tale
Daxas has fought off the most dangerous threat to his dungeon to date.
The cabal of other Dungeon Cores, beholden to the Divine Lords, sent one of their own, Gorvag, to destroy him with a host of subordinate dungeons.
They failed and Daxas stands as the beneficiary of their failure. Those benefits include Gorvag's daughter, Genya. A fierce orc warrior now dedicated to Daxas service. And through her he can exert control over her father, his enemy now reluctant ally.
However, time grows short. The Wolf King's Lair's advancement has been meteoric, and the final endgame rapidly approaches.
Before that there are a few things that need doing. The least of which is vengeance on those who dared to oppose the Wolf King.
And there are others in the Proving Grounds, like the Silver Lady, Jezebel. She had her own plans which don't align with Daxas'. Not to mention that the threat from without is undiminished. Timian, and others, are still gunning hard for Daxas. They want what he has, an abundance of soul energy, and the Wolf King must die for them to get their grubby little mitts on it.

Nearing the end game for the series, and it's still a fun ride.
A *lot* is happening in this book, as so many schemes and plotlines merge. If you haven't read the previous books in the series you'll be lost, so start with those.
Daxus is still his rule-bending self, kicking ass and taking... new desciples. Ha.
The epilog has important info, and appears to hint at a new series. I'll be looking for that.

Cheater.
Ahh Draxas is at it again, breaking rules, winning, and plotting. The take keeps spinning and the sorcerer supreme is pulling all the strings.

Another pretty decent volume, although the editing was a little sloppy on occasion. Looking forward to reading the conclusion.

Stilllllll good although the plot is starting to slow down a bit. I'm starting to wonder if the author has a good plan for wrapping this series up.
