Quick Summary: A sweet end and a new beginning romance

My Review: Last Bride Standing by Ginny Baird is the third and final installment in the Majestic Maine series. I found it to be a sigh happy love story and a beautifully simple romance.

About the Book:

Charlotte Delaney has always been strong. She is capable, competent, driven, and focused. She loves her family and will do what she must in order for them to find their happiness. So, making the decision to wed Aidan Strong is an acceptable means to an end. Right? It's just a business arrangement... right? Why is she now suddenly so aware of him, and why is her heart reacting to him in such a peculiar way?

Aidan Strong had only planned to stay in Majestic for a short time. His trip is only meant to be long enough to make the Delaney family an offer they can't refuse. Marrying his once upon a time crush, Charlotte, doesn't have to be on the table any longer. It would be win for both him and her, if they could come to some sense of agreement about their businesses. When Charlotte abruptly decides on taking an all or nothing approach to his very generous business offer, of course he has to stay and protect his interests. When did everything become so confusing? Why does his heart have to complicate things now?

My Final Say: Majestic is a magical place. It represents family, friendship, community, and heartfelt connections. It's the kind of place where forever love is found and moments of delight are appreciated. Readers who are interested in finding a place where true love makes its home should read this entire series.

Other: While book three can be read as a standalone novel, it would be helpful to read the preceding books.

Rating: 3.75/5
Recommend: Yes
Audience: A
Status/Level:🍬
Chemistry: +
Angst: + (Business rivalry)
Conflict: Light

I get that this deal was set up for the plot of a romance novel, but the whole idea is too ludicrous for me to take it seriously. ALSO, Charlotte is overly immature. It was cute for five seconds when it was marketed as her being "headstrong," then it got old. AND the fact that the dad needed to buy the mom such an expensive wedding ring, placing the business in a bad situation that put extra stress on the girls, was awful. Like WTF! Nevertheless, I am glad there was a happy ending for Charlotte and Aidan.

Rounded up from 3.5
Charlotte made a bet with her two sisters. The one who would remain single after a month would have to enter a marriage of convenience to help with their family business. She is the last one standing, and Aidan, her family's rival and now soon to be husband, just got into town. But he has absolutely no intention to marry her, even if she was his first crush... He wants to set things right, but she proposes a wager. The prize? A billion-dollar empire. Let the games begin.
This is book 3 in the Majestic Maine series, a closed door, small town, opposites attract, rivals to lovers romance, not what I expected going into this one (I was hoping for a marriage of convenience, but I still liked it). I loved the relationships and sense of community in Majestic. The first book in the series remain my favorite, but it was still a fun and fast read.
I received an advance review copy of this book for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The third and concluding book in the Majestic Main series by Ginny Baird. The entire series has been silly and farfetched. Three sisters agree that the sister who isn’t engaged to be married in a month will accept a marriage of convenience that will correct a past swindling and save the family business. The oldest and youngest sisters found their mates in the first two books leaving Charlotte left to marry billionaire Aiden. But when Aiden arrives it isn’t to become engaged and instead he tells his once childhood playmate he never intended to marry any of them and is signing over 50 percent ownership in the company that was supposed to be the original payoff for staying married five years.

Charlotte is angry that he’s been playing games with their lives so she doubles down and demands the entire company as he’ll still be wealthy and the original company was entirely stolen by his father. Instead shenanigans happen and they agree to a bet on who can sell the most cups of coffee on a town fair day. The premise is fun and at times the sisters can behave impulsively and immaturely. But I was rooting for level headed Charlotte's story to be my favorite. Aiden and his smirking, a word that creates big negative feelings to me, did not win me over. Nor did how the outcome of the contest plays out. I did enjoy the quieter moments between the two.

The books are clean, wholesome, contemporary romances and should be read in order. Kudos to the lovely covers for the whole series. They will definitely attract readers. I wish the books made more sense to the logical side of my brain but it is nice escapism reading. Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

LAST BRIDE STANDING is an overall fun contemporary romance read that rounds out the experience of the three sisters with a bet. Their parents had brought on some business partners for their coffee shop when they were young and then took off with licensing rights to sell the coffee online, which really took off, while the shops themselves did not. Their family always felt cheated, and now that the other father has died, the other mother, along with their mother, has proposed a way to share the business through marriage. The three sisters made a bet to determine who would marry the other family's son, and the last one unengaged after a specific amount of time would be the one to marry him.

Charlotte is the last bride standing, and she is ready to marry Aidan. However, when he shows up, it is not with marriage but with a contract to give half the business back to her family free and clear. Charlotte decides to up the stakes with a bet - at the upcoming fall festival, if she can sell more cups of coffee than him, then she will get the entirety of the business. If she loses, she will agree to half. The competition is on, but as they get to know each other, other feelings begin to grow.

This was an overall cute read with a bit of rivals-turned-romantic interest flair. There was a bit of misunderstanding tropes with some retaliation, but I appreciated that these were relatively short-lived and minor (as compared to earlier books). Some of the situations and romance felt a bit forced, but with dual perspectives, it was clear that they were both harboring some lingering feelings, particularly bolstered by their childhood friendship.

While I had really loved the sisters' relationship in the previous books, I was a bit troubled by some of the things happening in this one, though they were relatively minor, such as when one of the sister's fiance tried to rat her out to Aidan about an offhand comment where she was considering getting back at Aidan by making him want her since he broke off their engagement and hurt her feelings at the beginning. It felt very junior high and a bit strange since it didn't seem like they were any great particular friends. It would have made more sense to me for him to have overheard directly or his trusted assistant maybe. It started to feel a bit like telephone/so gossipy that led to misunderstandings and missteps.

That being said, the romance built pretty well, and I appreciated the competition plus the dual perspectives that made semi-questionable elements seem better. Overall, LAST BRIDE STANDING was a fun contemporary romance that did a good job of rounding out the sisters' stories.

Please note that I received an ARC. All opinions are my own.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this advanced copy from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

We've reached the end of the Majestic Maine trilogy and the last Delaney sister has thrown the final wedding bouquet. I was disappointed because I was promised a marriage of convenience and it wasn't delivered. What's the point of centering a series around a bridal bet if it's rescinded within the first few chapters of the finale? I was totally invested in our couple signing a marriage contract for the sake of their families' coffee business but instead I was treated with a fall festival contest with nary a wedding ring in sight. I was so confused because that was the main reason I stuck through this trilogy. I wanted to see some reluctant nuptials, people!

The last minute switcheroo really threw me for a loop, but I can't say it was completely awful. I thought when our couple wasn't bickering and competing for the most coffee beans, they were very sweet. I thought their childhood adoration was a nice touch and you could practically see the hearts in their eyes. While this trilogy isn't as tumultuous as my usual romance fare, I will acknowledge the tenderness between each couple. The first book will always be my favorite and Nell Delaney most resembles my own personality. I mean, how can you not like a girl dressed in an all-pink ski suit trying to win the man of her dreams?

#zombieland: double tap from Every Movie

The Majestic Maine trilogy wasn't what I was expecting, but I suppose it's nice to pump the brakes every once in a while. Most of my reads have been high-octane and totally off the rails. These books are closed-door and focus more on the emotional aspect of their relationship, which is totally valid. I may not have completely loved reading about the Delaney sisters, but I was invested enough to stick it through to the finale. All I really wanted was a marriage of convenience, but I know I won't have to look far to find it in another romance novel. I think I'll leave the reception early and shove some cocktail weiners in my purse while I leave the Last Bride Standing.

Last Bride Standing is the final installment of Ginny Baird’s Majestic, Maine trilogy. Sisters Nell, Charlotte, and Misty Delaney had been presented with a dilemma. In order to salvage the family business, Bearberry Brews, their parents home, and set the family up financially, it has been put forth that if one of the girls would agree to marry the son of the man who had been their father’s business partner until he swindled the Delaney’s out of millions of dollars, they will be able to own half the company and pay off all their debt. The stipulations are that the marriage will be in name only, must last five years, and it doesn’t matter which girl Aidan Strong marries.
In the first book, First Bride to Fall, eldest sister Nell finds a love of her own followed by youngest sister Misty doing the same in The Second Bride Down. Somehow middle sister Charlotte always knew in the back of her mind that she would be the one that would make the family’s sacrifice. As the group meets Aidan and his assistant Trudy at the airport, Charlotte believes she is prepared for what will happen next until the next thing to happen is a rebuke from Aidan telling her he never had any intention of marrying any of the sisters, but did want to make things right between the two families. He proposes giving them fifty percent of the business, but Charlotte wants it all, making a Fall Fest wager that she can’t lose. Her family will either get the original offer Aidanmade or the full company. But perhaps it’s what she may actually lose that would mean the most.
This, like the first two before it, is a fun family romp with some quite serious moments. This well written story, actually trilogy, is such a good read. The characters are well drawn and the setting beautifully described. I very much enjoyed this book and do recommend it!

I had such a hard time with this book. This is the third, and last in the Majestic Maine series. The books center around the Three Delaney sisters, Nell, Misty, and Charlotte. Their parents coffee shop is about to go under, and their mother comes to them with a plan. Their parents’ former partner had cheated out of their coffee business, and his widow suggested that one of the sisters could enter into a marriage of convenience to her son, Aidan Strong, and gain control of half of the company. The sisters had a month to find their “true love,” and the last one without a fiancé, has to marry Aidan. Both Nell and Misty have found their “True Love,” so Charlotte has to marry Aidan. When Aidan gets off the plane, he lets Charlotte know that they are not getting married, but he is giving half the company to their family. Of course, Charlotte decides that this isn’t good enough and demands that they have a contest for total control of the company by selling coffee at the upcoming fair. So my problems with this book:
1. Why was there even a marriage of convenience even suggested? Aidan got off the plane with the 50% offer, why not give that to them from the get go?
2. Charlotte demands that they have this contest, where if she loses, she still gets 50%, but if she wins, she gets 100%. How is there any upside for Aidan? This contest makes no sense.
3. Charlotte was really unlikable . One minute she’s giggling (I swear, that word is used every other paragraph), the next she’s stomping her feet and throwing a hissy fit. Also, she and her sisters acted like high schoolers, and she wants to run an international company?
4. For the first third of the book, Aidan’s personality was pretty much smirking. He actually grew on me by the end of the book, he was the one bright spot in the book.

I received an arc of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

Bearberry Coffee is financially bad.
A family business, which was created by the Delaney in a self-made way, it grew a lot in the hands of the couple's friend, John Strong.
However, John acted in bad faith, getting rich, while the Delaney are now embittered by near bankruptcy.

After John's death in London, his wife, Jane Strong, a close friend of Mrs. Delaney, decided to help her friend's company, and for that, her son, Aidan, would marry one of the Delaney daughters.
And there was a bet... Which of the 3 sisters would marry Aidan?
Well, the choice would go to the one who couldn't find the love of her life within 1 month.
Nell and Misty made it.
Charlotte was the loser (or was she the winner?)

Aidan Strong moved to London from Maine at an early age. He had fond memories of the place, he missed the beach... and he had a crush on Charlotte.
But now, after so many years, they would only have a negotiation.
The wedding she'd been waiting for? (and after five years of marriage, they could have separate lives, and she would own half the company) It wasn't going to happen. He would gladly give her half of the company.

Finding all this to be very bold (after all, the company was created by her parents!), Charlotte does not accept his offer. In return, she offers another bet:
Whoever sold more cups of coffee on the day of Fall Fest would be the winner and would own 100% of the company.
May the best win!

During that week of preparation for the Fest, Charlotte and Aidan share the Café office, reminisce about flying a kite on the beach, and reconnect to each other.
But it was all just a bet, right? In the end, win or lose, Aidan would return to London... and Charlotte would be heartbroken...

Last Bride Standing is the third novel in the Majestic Maine series that follows three sisters on their road to romance. Now that Nell Delaney found romance in the first novel, First Bride to Fall, and the second sister, Misty, did too in the second novel, Second Bride Down, it is time for the final sister Charlotte. To complete the agreement the three sisters made at the beginning, Charlotte is thinking she may be destined for a marriage of convenience. When Aidan Strong arrives in Majestic, Charlotte is surprised he isn’t there for marriage, but he instead poses a wager. The two then try to figure out how to make both happy in their family businesses and lives. The two are opposites, but they share some similarities. There is a nice tension between them as they begin to get to know each other.

Baird’s writing style is very easy and captivating. The story is lighter on plot, so it is a nice comfort read. The characters are engaging, but there is not a lot of development. The way the characters are written will not be for every type of reader as some may prefer more development in novels. With each novel in the series being about a different sister, they can be read as standalones or as a series. Since this is the first one in the series that I have read, it was not difficult to catch up to the main story that connects each novel. While I do tend to lean towards stories with a little more depth, this one was a nice escape-type read in between other novels. Overall, this was a sweet romance and I look forward to reading more from Baird in the future.

**I give a special thank you to Netgalley and the publisher, Entangled, for the opportunity to read this entertaining novel. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.**

Humorous, sweet, clean, heart-warming romance with clever dialogue and narrative
Charlotte Delaney is the last sister standing. Both her sisters found their forever loves: Nell found Grant and Misty found Lucas. Their bet is off. Charlotte at 28yo will take up the challenge set down which was marry 30yo Aidan Strong for five years in-name-only, move to London and then receive half of Bearberry Coffee which he heads up. To get the backstory why this is important I would suggest you read at least this book or better still, read the first and second books in this series. Getting a piece of Bearberry Coffee would mean a tremendous financial boon to the Delaneys who run the local café Bearberry Brews. Charlotte wants more than half; a new competition ensues.
When the sisters go to the airport to meet the former nerdy, gangly boy who left Majestic Maine twenty years ago, they are stunned at the handsome grown man approaching them. Wow! Time has been good to Aidan. Problem is Charlotte is just as strong-willed as Aidan so they are constantly bickering and trying to one-up the other. Their banter is always interesting. I must admit that I didn’t like Charlotte much. I think she was written with a mean streak. Toward the end and especially when she makes her proclamation on bended knee, she softens up. Also, getting a red nose rather than red cheeks when embarrassed is odd and awkward. Overall, I truly enjoyed this book. It was a little slow in parts; lots of thinking going on and less action. Loved the ending in which the epilogue goes out ten years and we revisit everybody to see how they have gotten on. All loose strings are tied up nicely. I volunteered to review an ARC of it through Entangled and NetGalley.

This is the third book in a series of three sisters who have to have an arranged marriage within a month, or else marry someone else. the first two books are about how the oldest and youngest sister of the three found their true love, leaving Charlotte to marry Aiden.

So, if you have read the other two books, you know how no one knew anythign about Aiden, though they had known him a a child, and had no idea what he was like. And the idea of marrying him for five years, in order to be given half of the company his father stole from their parents, was just too horrid for the other sisters to even think of.

But, if you come into this book without having read the others, though you can, you miss all the back story, and just how hard all the sisters tried to *not* marry him. So, in this book Charlotte has decided she might as well. Thing is, he isn't interested. He decides rather than wait five years, he'll just give the half of the company, and get it over with.

But Charlotte will have none of that. How dare he reject her. And so begins a sort of push-me-pull-me of the both of them declaring they are not the least bit interested in the other, when they both are.

It is a fun story, but there is a lot of pining here. And some of the side characters are running around int he background, not adding anything to the story. They could have been left out completely without losing anything. But, on the other hand, they do tie up loose threads from the earlier books.

I would suggest reading the whole series, to get the most out of this book. Otherwise this will seem all petty.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book avialable for an honest review.

I really liked this series. This is the third book in the Majestic Maine series about three sisters trying to save their parents' coffee business by having an arranged marriage set up by their mother and the rival's mother. Charlotte is the last sister who hasn't found her true love yet before the end of the month that they set as the end date so she is to marry Aiden. The sisters knew Aiden when they were young and thought he was a nerd. His family went back to England to live and run the business that Aiden's father cheated the Delaney family out of most of the business. Now the Delaney family is in dire straits and need the union of Aiden and Charlotte. When Aiden comes to Majestic, the sisters are shocked at the change in Aiden. He's really good looking now. He announces at the airport that there won't be any wedding and that he's willing to hand over half of the business with no strings attached.
Charlotte is taken aback since he decided that there won't be a marriage. She comes up with a contest the whoever sells the most coffee at the end of the upcoming festival will win the entire company. Aiden goes along with it because he's certain that he will win. The problem is that the more time they spend in each other's company, they find themselves attracted to the other. Who will win the contest? Will Aiden and Charlotte be able to get over the past hurts? This is a wonderful book. I highly recommend the entire series. I received an early copy from Netgalley and I'm leaving my honest review.

This is the third and final installment of the Majestic Maine. I have enjoyed all three books and find the sisters lovable. It's a fun and lighthearted romance novel where two opposite people find each other attractive but annoying at the same time. The story is all fun and games, and it's a good relaxing read. Not something with a complicated plot or many twists or turns, it is for people looking for a sweet and clean escape into romance.

Charlotte lost the bet with her sisters and is now trying to come to terms with her impending marriage to Aiden. Someone they knew as children but haven't seen in a long, long time. However, when Aiden comes to Majestic he has a surprise. He doesn't want to marry her or any of her sisters, for that matter. But instead of making her happy, this rattles Charlotte. She feels like he has been playing games with them. Now, she wants him to pay.

Aiden thinks Charlotte will be relieved and happy. Instead, she is angry with him and has placed a new bet. And he finds himself unable to refuse. With the stakes as high as his coffee empire he absolutely must win. But what happens when he spends more time in Majestic, getting to know his childhood crush?

The story is happy and heartwarming. I enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to all romance lovers, especially if you enjoy contemporary romance.

P.S. Thank you, NetGalley and the publisher for a complimentary copy of this book.

REVIEW: This was a really lovely read. A contemporary romance set in a small town where family and friends are treasured and connections are strong.

While this is the third book in a series, you certainly do not have to read the other two first in order to enjoy this one.

The plot is a pretty common one, and there is a happy ending, a must for romance lovers.

This quick read can easily be read in an hour.

Last Bride Standing is a fun, heart tugging enemies to true love story by Ginny Baird. The third book in the Majestic Maine Trilogy. Charlotte Delaney believes she has lost the sister’s bet so she plans to endure a year of marriage to Aidan Strong so that the family can gain their half of the coffee shop business back. I will admit that I didn’t understand how it came to be split up as it was by the family of Delaney and Strong. What I do understand is that of all the characters Aidan Strong is the kindest, most logical of the bunch. He saw the marriage as something out of the 1800’s, refusing to go along with it. However, he did see the need to just give back to the Delaneys what would have been gained if the marriage had gone through.

Now comes another bet from Charlotte. Why Aiden went along is what moves the story along. It is still another ridiculous bet, but it was fun to read. It was also amusing to see how the family kept throwing these two together. Of all the characters I especially liked Aiden and his assistant Trudy.

Last Bride Standing is my favorite of the three books with its don’t-take-itself-to-serious kind of vibe. The kind of pure escapism reading that has you smiling while reading.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I can't believe this is the end of the series, I love the Delaney sisters, Nell and Charlotte most of all
.
Charlotte is the last one standing after her sisters managed to fall in love and get engaged before the month was out, and she's ready to agree to marry the son of her father's ex-partner to save the family business
.
Only when Aidan arrives at Majestic, she finds out that he doesn't plan to marry her, not now, not ever, according to his words, and he proposes a different deal. But with her pride wounded, Charlotte is not willing to accept at first and proposes to beat him in one last challenge, the winner will take everything
.
They both accept the challenge and while they prepare everything for the fall festival they must share the only office in her family business and the attention of the inhabitants of the small town
.
In this last book, there is a fun enemies to lovers with the wonderful characters of the small town Majestic and the more united family the Delaneys. Ginny Baird writes the cutest, most passion-filled closed-door romances that I'd would love to find on my movie rewatch list
.

Charlotte Delaney, the only sister yet to find love, faces a unique challenge: marry Aidan Strong, now a successful 30-year-old running Bearberry Coffee, in a five-year, in-name-only arrangement. In return, she'd get half of Bearberry Coffee, a significant aid for the Delaneys' local café, Bearberry Brews. However, Charlotte aspires for more than just half, leading to a fresh rivalry. When Aidan returns to Majestic Maine after two decades, his transformed handsome appearance takes the sisters by surprise. While Aidan and Charlotte's dynamic involves continuous banter and competition, Charlotte's portrayal can come across as slightly mean-spirited.

The book follows a captivating tale of love, betrayal, and redemption. Both characters confront their prejudices and learn to trust. The book delves deep into the characters' introspection, occasionally making the pace slow, but concludes satisfyingly, wrapping up the storylines a decade into the future. Although the book can stand alone, reading the first two offers deeper context. The ending felt rushed, but the book is recommended for its engaging storyline and character development.

Charlotte and Aiden are getting married to merge their families' companies and right Aiden's father's wrongs. But when he shows up in Majestic, Maine, he informs Charlotte that he never planned on marrying her. Though he plans to give her half of the company outright, this is good enough for Charlotte; she wants the WHOLE company, especially after Aiden played along with the marriage ploy, which in turn made Charlotte and her sisters race to get engaged so they wouldn't have to be the one to marry him.
Charlotte's solution is simple: she and Aiden will compete at the upcoming Fall Festival. If he sells more coffee, their initial agreement stands, and she gets half the company. But if she sells more, he has to sign the whole thing over to her.
It's simple. Except when it seems that feelings might start getting in the way.

This was a fun conclusion to this series. Like with the last one there were some moments it felt a bit repetitive in its introspection, but I wanted to see Charlotte and Aiden together, and their competition was a lot of fun.

I enjoyed reading, Last Bride Standing by Ginny Baird. In small-town Majestic, Maine, Charlotte Delaney is trying to save the family business. She intends to marry Aiden Strong in name only. He has already agreed to keep her parents' cafe from going under by subsidizing their outstanding bank loan and then at the end of five years, Charlotte will own half of Bearberry Coffee. When Aiden arrives in town, however, he doesn't want to honor their agreement. Instead he wants to give her half free and clear and then return to his life in London. Feeling rejected, Charlotte proposes a contest. At the upcoming Fall Fest she will compete against Aiden to see if his Bearberry Coffee or her Bearberry Brews can sell more cups of coffee. Charlotte and Aiden try not to mix business with pleasure but... I liked the East coast seaside setting, Charlotte and her family, and Aiden. Ginny Baird does a good job of making these characters come to life. Now I want to read the first two books in this series.

I am a huge fan of Ginny Baird and her books. I loved reading the first two books of her Majestic Maine series, and was excited to have the opportunity to read her newest installment to it, Last Bride Standing. Even though it is a part of a series, each one can be read as a standalone but highly recommend for readers not miss out on reading any of them.
Last Bride Standing was such a delight book to read. The tale between Charlotte and Aidan was such a fun and entertaining one to read. I enjoyed the sprinkle of humor all throughout their story. It was a great catching up as to what is going in the beautiful town of Majestic. I loved this book and had no issue devouring it in one sitting.
I am giving Last Bride Standing five stars. I believe fans and lovers of clean romance with the side of humor will want to give this one a read.
I received a digital copy of Ginny Baird's Last Bride Standing from the author, but was not required to write a review, nor a positive one. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

I will say I did not read the other books in the series, but the author did a good job at keeping you in the know. I did like this book it was a cute story kind of a fun twist on love. While I was not a huge fan of Charlotte I felt like she was cunning for the first part of the story she did eventually grow on my I also felt like her sisters were quick to ground her a push her to grow up in a sense. Aiden was sneaky but he was an easy read for anyone close to him and was a really fun character for me. He took things on the chin and ran with it. I really enjoyed how the author ended the book and summarized where the sister were at in life there was no what ifs or wondering what happens next. I liked that the author also kept the book clean so it would be suitable for all. Overall this was a fun story and it was worth the read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The series has ended, and we say goodbye to the Delaney sisters. The ending was really sweet but I will say I had some trouble connecting to Charlotte. I liked that she wanted to win the side competition she purposed but I felt like she was such a brat. She was such a middle child! This is totally a me problem but I was able to push through.

Charlotte is ready to step in and save her family's business. Her sisters have found their significant others, so it's up to her to marry Adrian Strong, the son of her parents' former business partners.

When he arrives from London, Adrian has plans to make things right between their families. Even though Charlotte was his first crush, he has no intention of marrying any of the Delaney sisters.

She's challenging him to a new wager, and the stakes are even higher now. Both have plans to win.

Thank you so much to the author, Entangled and NetGalley for this ARC to review.

When Aidan Strong returns to Majestic, Maine, and humiliates Charlotte after she agrees to a marriage of convenience, she proposes a competition that she is certain she can win and get back all that her family lost to Aidan's dishonest father who stole the business from her father years ago.

Aidan is trying to make things right with the Delaney family. He didn't come up with the marriage of convenience scheme and he is not about to follow through with it. But he will give the Delaney's 1/2 partnership but Charlotte wants it all. Charlotte is not about to settle for second best. She is in it to win it. And, if she can take Aidan down a notch or two, even better.

The problem is, the deeper she gets, the more she sees Aidan as a good man. He isn't the horrible person she has been imagining him to be. Is she capable of risking her heart? If she did, would Aidan even want her?

I was given an arc copy of this book and I loved it and willingly offer my honest review.

Charlotte Delaney lost the bet with her sisters and has prepared herself to enter into a marriage of convenience with Aidan Strong. But Aidan has no intention of marrying Charlotte when he can just give her half of the business, which is fair compensation for her family. Charlotte wants more than a fair, though. She wants everything...maybe even at the cost of the one person she really wants.

When you reach the end of a series with tears in your eyes, you know the author has done a good job of engaging your emotions. I was just so happy for everyone, including the supporting cast who also got their HEAs. This wasn't my favourite book of the trilogy, however. The stakes didn't seem high enough and Baird's ham-fisted use of "Britishisms" was incredibly distracting.

Anything I really liked about this book was just a leftover from the ones that preceded it.

The final book in a trilogy but can be read as a standalone.
Whilst this book was well written I have to admit that it didn’t hold my attention and it therefore took me five days to finish it. I think some of the problem was that I didn’t care for Aidan and Charlotte. Charlotte came across as childish and I thought she was really greedy to expect to have 100% of Aidan’s company handed to her. Whilst Aidan seemed clueless about the angst and stress he had put the three sisters under. Having said that, I did enjoy their outings (dates) and their romance (which they steadily denied). The last chapter and the epilogue were romantic and gave closure to the series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Ginny Baird concludes her Majestic, Maine series with another fun story. Last Bride Standing is a frenemies-to-lovers trope with a bit of a Hallmark movie-type feel. As with her other bride books, this one was quite entertaining. It’s more of a light-hearted rom-com than the second book, with some heartwrenching emotion thrown in as the main characters grow and develop. Thanks to Aiden and Charlotte's stubbornness and competitive spirits, it’s cute, quirky, and full of shenanigans. If you’re looking for a feel-good read with a lot of fun yet also a bit of heart-tugging emotion sprinkled in, this will be a book (and series) you won’t want to pass up. I’m very interested to see what this author brings us next!

Last Bride Standing is a captivating novel that skillfully brings together two childhood frenemies and intricately develops their relationship through a compelling bet. The push and pull of their connection is both exhilarating and captivating. The dialogue throughout the book is clever and enjoyable, providing witty and entertaining conversations between the three sisters. I found myself laughing out loud on multiple occasions. Additionally, the side story involving Aiden's assistant, Trudy, adds an entertaining element to the narrative, leaving me chuckling at her amusing antics. Overall, this book exudes the charm and humor reminiscent of classic zany romantic comedies, making it a delightful and engaging read.
