We get to know some new members of the Sweeney as Julie and Bliss have returned. It is a race to see who matches, John is missing his wife, and a family tradition is resurrected for Labor Day. The grandfather clock is being repaired, and a new mystery is revealed.

Time is of the essence for the latest Sweeny arrivals and Dottie knows just who will be the right person for the job much to the objection of others. There are growing pains for Julie with being back home after so long, but as always the Sweeny family pull together not just for her but Bliss and I loved how Bliss invigorated Dottie and family traditions were looked upon once again while reminiscing about the past. I will be honest my opinion of Imani is wavering, I get she wants to reconnect with her old self but ... well we will have to see how it all pans out. Definitely get comfy for this one as you won't be putting it down and there are a good lot of emotions to go through and then the count down begins for the next book which can't come sooner enough after the latest discovery!!.

This saga of the Sweeney family continues, and there are more surprises. Julie, the prodigal daughter, is back home for a while because her daughter needs a kidney transplant. Julie and Bliss are welcomed back with open arms, as the family rallies behind them, fighting for a position in line to see who is a viable donor. Imari's new job is beginning to take its toll on her marriage. John, the perfect father, is struggling to cover for the missing-in-action perfect mother. And Sam is really coming into her own, kicking ass and taking names. The recurring theme throughout the series is the unwavering and unconditional support, forgiveness, love. I have enjoyed this series so much and with this being the third book in the series I am more vested than ever with this family.
This story brings the return of an estranged sister. The family deals with a lot but it also makes the family stronger. I enjoyed the dynamics twists with the return of the sister.
The new challenges they face makes this story one I look forward to the next book.

This was a hard one to read.
There is a lot of things going on in the Sweeney family. Some things I like some things I find hard to understand. As the series goes on you find that the characters are so relatable. They are dealing with life issues and you can almost feel their pain. Each book brings more heartfelt trauma. No big happy endings at the end of each book. This is not your mother's Hallmark channel story. Will have to see what comes next. Enjoy!

Wow. In this third book in the series, Julia returns home at the age of fifty with her teenaged daughter, Bliss, and the news is not good. Bliss needs a kidney transplant. She's already on dialysis. Bliss's dad has decided to follow the band to Europe, so he's out of the picture, and now Julia must rely on her family after a lifetime of touring and traveling. Will the two of them adapt? Will Bliss find a donor match? Stay tuned.

Just finished Cocoa Beach Reunion. This was a very emotional book. Julie comes home to the Sweeny Cottage, her daughter Bliss comes with her. Bliss is sick and needs a transpant. This book was filled with so much family love and worry. It was a story that you prayed for a happy ending. Cecelia Scott has really put a lot of feeling in this book. I love how she shows the closeness of the Sweeny family. This was a GREAT book.

A wonderful book with an amazing beach setting. This is a heartfelt story of a family trying to find their way and gaining strength along the way. There is so much going on an so much emotion. This book has a great storyline and loveable characters. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This novel was a delightful, easy afternoon read, with wonderful characters, a well-woven plot, and enough angst to fuel a village.
As the renovation continues on the Inn, so too do the changes and upheavals in the lives of the residents and occupiers of this magical place.
Wonderful and enjoyable four-star read.

Loved this book! I love the continuing development of the characters we already know as well as the additions to the family that we get to know in this book. There are issues of family and health and love and love lost. The characters are just so down to earth and realistic. I can’t wait for the next in the series!

I love books about tight knit, loving families and this did not disappoint! Set in beautiful Cocoa Beach you can almost feel the sand between your toes and hear the waves lapping at the shore. The characters all support each other in heartbreaking moments. I highly recommend this book.

The Sweeney family story continues when they are reunited with estranged sister Julie and her daughter Bliss. They need help from the family. Bliss is in desperate need of a kidney donation. They are all willing to help and arguing over who should do it. The renovation of the Inn continues and one of the family marriages begins to crumble. This would not be a good standalone. It is a great series that would be best enjoyed in order..

Again, what a lovely, charismatic and loving family are the Sweeneys!
At the hospital scene I felt like I was with thin in the recovery room. The love in this household really brings back memories of my own family back in our days.

A must read!
A genuine will make you laugh and cry book! The previous two books in the series were good but this one is outstanding. It's one of those rare books that really make you feel and you put everything else aside until you finish it. Highly recommend

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this series. But this book was a bit boring for me. I found myself skimming through some of the pages to get through it. The author did, however, redeem herself in the end.

There are so many feels in this book - heartbreak, worry, laughter, guilt, longing, regret, frustration, and most of all, love of family. I’m loving these books - read them in order to get the continuous story. Luckily they are all out so I can binge read the whole series!

Interesting yet tends to drag
