Not bad as a reference book goes but kinda pointless for a couple of reasons. 1) There are plenty of tutorials online (including some of them in this book) that can be found and used for free. 2) The program is updated so frequently that by the time I finished reading the book, a lot of it's info is outdated.
About the best reason I can give to buy this book is to show support for the Blender Foundation. It's nice to have a free 3d graphics program out there and if buying books like this helps keep it out there I'm game.
