ROGUE

The girl who ripped my heart out and stomped on it when we were kids just walked back into my life.

Aurora Wilkins. Daughter of the richest man in Ironwood.
Wealthy, hot, and untouchable.
Except, I touched her.

Me. The poor boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Son of her daddy’s gardener.
She told me she loved me. Fool that I was, I believed her.
Then, she did the one thing I could never forgive.

Thirteen years later, she’s back in town.
And she just ran right into the path of a rival MC.

She’s in danger. I never wanted to see her again.
But now, there’s nothing I won’t do to protect her.

***Note: IRON BOND can be read as a standalone, but it is also the fourth book in the Lords of Carnage Ironwood MC series. This book includes steamy scenes, biker slang, cursing, and violence. If you like alpha males who take charge, this book is for you.

Iron Bond was the fourth book in the Lords of Carnage Ironwood MC by Daphne Loveling. It can be read as a stand-alone but I highly recommend the entire series.

I’ve taken a hiatus from formal reviews for a while, but a couple quick thoughts: I loved both characters Rogue and Aurora. I also liked their backstory and the suspenseful vibe that ran through the storyline. I wanted a little more depth and detail for the consequences for the antagonists, but no spoilers so no elaboration. All in all, it was a quick, enjoyable and suspenseful forever love read.

POPSUGAR READING CHALLENGE: A SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE

Meeeeeeh. That the review I have lol. This legit was what the kids would call mid. Nothing more and nothing less. I would've given it 3 stars but it just didn't really deserve a 3, but not like a full 2.5 either. Brody was annoying and a weirdo, the Sassy plot line was....something, and I just feel like nothing in this book stood out. The FMC also I cant even remember her name, and i felt like we knew nothing about her.

HOWEVERRR my friend and I are doing the popsugar 2024 reading challenge and picking a random number each time through a number generator– along with not reading the book blurbs first. So im not upset this was mid cause this challenge is hilarious LMAOOOO.

…I have to read it.

Iron Bond by Daphne Loveling was another great read in her series about the Lords of Carnage Ironwood MC Series. The novel allowed us to see the past lives of Rory and Rogue. Reading about their past and then bringing us into the present was awesome. I loved how they reconnected with all the fire and fury of people who loved each other scorned. I think the book was a fun read with lots of steam and bad boy behavior.

Iron Bond is a good read.

Iron Bond is book 4 in the Ironwood MC series written by the amazing author Daphne Loveling and an awesome spin-off of Lords of Carnage MC series. This is about of Rogue, member of the Ironwood Lords of Carnage MC & Aurora Wilkins aka 'Rory', daughter of the richest man in Ironwood, a second chance romance. This book has everything you want in an MC love story; hot bikers, sassy women, amazing characters, secrets, betrayal, intrigue, violence, danger, MC drama, passion, romance and a happy end. This was a great addition to an already great new series. I loved Brody & Rory. Their chemistry and banter are intense!!!! Daphne Loveling does it again, can't wait to read more stories from other members of the Ironwood MC chapter!!!

This is the next chapter in the Lords of Carnage series. These books are all great and the continuing thread that runs through them, keeps them connected. They are all great and its hard not to fall into them and ride away with the Lords.
Rogue and Rory have a long past and love that has been bend, but not really broken. They have both had family problems. Their love for each other has been tested, and there were some bumps in the road but they have over come it, it just took thirteen years to do it.
Rogue is feeling restless and lonely, but tries to not let it get him down. When he runs into Rory again at the bar they all hang out in, it knocks him on his rump.
Rory is in town for the firs time in years because her father called her and wanted her to visit. When she runs into Rogue at the bar, she is also knocked off her rump and old feelings come rising to the top again.
When they finally talk, Rogue finds out what really happened all those years ago, and he vows to take care of it.
Their love is strong and has grown over the years, and that proves that they should be together.

This is such an amazing read that you won't be able to put it down.
Aurora (Rory) was back in her home town after 13 years because her father is ill and wants to see her but she was hoping to avoid bumping into Brody (Rogue) her husband.
Rogue can't believe that she is back in town after the hurt she caused him but he can't deny that the chemistry between them is still there.
Could they get back to who they were especially after big secrets are revealed and emotions are open wide.
So much drama and suspense but can they get their HEA. Loved reading this book.

I have read this in one sitting! It landed on my kindle at midnight whilst I was sleeping. As soon as I was awake, up and dressed, my arse has barely left my couch!
I kid you not! Rogue and Rory have made me feel everything!
There have been tears, heart clenching, heart breaking but I have kept going. Because, to be fair, Rogue and Rory did. Thirteen years of heart break and misunderstandings, at times, I read through the tears. I also put my kindle down at one point, just to breathe.
Iron Bond has truly blown me away! With all these emotions, I am going to put my self in a dark room for a short spell. In the meantime, you all need to go and one click this!!

Second Chance 4 ½ stars. - You’ll sympathize with Aurora and Brody’s journey to their HEA. The drama is just right. I like that adult Aurora has her own mind. I’m not sure if I can't fault her for not being forthcoming about the conflict that resulted in their break-up back when she’s in her teens. Although, Brody should have talked to her. There’s so much missed time but they found each other again at the right time. Story has some steamy scenes and endearing moments. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

Aurora, daughter of the richest man in town and a beauty. Rogue, the son of a gardener. A gardener who worked for the richest man in town. Aurora's father. Never did Rogue think he could get near her...but he did. And then he fell in love with her, while she broke his heart. He never forgot her. So years later when she comes back into his life, it's a shock. But when he finds out she's in danger, he knows what he has to do.
This is just another example of why this is such an amazing series. I recommend this book and this author.

This is the 4th book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. Rogue and Aurora fell in love as kids but she was the rich girl and he was the help and she broke his heart. She is back in town and in danger, can Rogue keep her safe? Fast-paced rad with loads of drama and emotion. Great characters with lots of depth and steamy scenes. I liked it.

Daphne Loveling has done it again! Iron Bond is a terrific story that sucks the reader in practically from the first page. Rogue and Rory have so much history but twisted in that history is a lot of anger and pain, making it hard to believe they’ll ever get back together. Luckily there’s still a whole lot of attraction between them and some pushy old ladies who decide they’re meant for each other. Rogue and Rory are great additions to an already amazing series. We also get to revisit old favorites, which is always nice. As with all of Ms. Loveling’s stories, there is excitement, humor and hot sexy scenes. Truly enjoyed this installment and can’t wait to see who’s next in this phenomenal series!

Read it straight through except for a dinner break! Would’ve read then but that would have been a bit rude to my husband lol. Once again Daphne Loveling has created a romance story that has a real family feel to it along with the MC drama. I enjoy catching up with couples from previous books although you don’t have to have read the others to follow this story. I liked how the story of Rory and Brody aka Rogue get together, then break up and the truth behind that, took time to unfold. Daphne’s way of writing makes it easy to imagine why the two of them made the choices they did. The two of them definitely deserved their HEA (and the dog lol)

Iron Bond Lords of Carnage Ironwood MC # 4 by Daphne Loveling is a story about a second chance of love between Rogue and Aurora. This story pulls you in from the first chapter, it is full of intrigue, violence, betrayal, family and biker drama with plenty of steamy moments throughout. If you love your bikers who are edgy, alpha and in charge then this series is for you. Rogue and Aurora fell in love when they were teenagers, she comes from a rich family, and Rogue is the son of a gardener. Aurora told Rogue she was his when they eloped but soon circumstances will pull these two apart, when she makes a confession to Rogue they fight, she leaves and he never saw her again. When she broke his heart by her betrayal he puts all of his effort as a member of the Lords of Carnage Ironwood MC, as his club and brothers mean everything to him, he only has one night stands with club women as he will never fall in love again. He is spending his time building his home on land that the club owns and finds his life is good. Will something come up to screw everything up for him?

Rory's life changed so much during the years after she lied and betrayed Brody, her father divorced her mother leaving her with nothing she had to drop out of school to work to pay for her mother's cancer treatments, giving up her dream of becoming a writer. Now Rory will return to Ironwood when her father tells her he is dying, Will she be able to meet her father one who never cared for her or her mother? Will she be able to hide from Brody. Checking into a cheap motel before she goes and sees her father, she decides to stop over to the Viking for a drink and meets the bartender who once was friends with her mother. When Rogue decides to join his brothers at the Viking, he will get the shock of his life when after 13 years he sees Aurora sitting at the bar.

When he approaches and confronts her he wants to know why she is back in Ironwood, fireworks explode as the truth comes out that she is his wife. His brothers tease him about this sexy blond who his is wife. Rogue is angry that she is disrupting his life, she is a liar and has no business coming back to Ironwood. Aurora is feisty, and stands her ground when she tells him she goes by the name Rory and returned to Ironwood as her father is sick. The more he wants to stay away from her, he can't as feelings from the past have never died. Their reunion is off the charts hot full of steamy moments as they rekindle what they once had. Can they begin again as husband and wife or will they be torn apart once again? Will Rory forgive her father and work with him? Now that she has a rival MC after her she is in danger, Rogue will do all he can to protect the woman he still loves.

So many twists and turns in this story as Aurora finally tells Rogue what she hid from him, lives will change, Rogue will get his revenge on a friend and learns who instigated the plan to tear them apart all those years ago. Now Rogue and Aurora with the love they have for each other are looking towards the future together as it should have been from the beginning. Love how Aurora finally finds peace within herself and her relationship with her father. With Rogue's love she is working towards her dream of becoming a writer. Daphne Loveling has done an outstanding job with the Lords of Carnage Ironwood MC Series. Iron Bond is a must read full of emotion and romance, can't wait for her next book.

Second chance for the win!

I saw the blurb and was so excited to read this book. I enjoyed the original Lords of Carnage, but hadn’t read this series yet, and had to jump in even though it’s book 4 in this spin off series. That wasn’t an issue at all.

I’ll admit it took me a bit to get into this one, even knowing how interested I was in it just from the blurb I read. I didn’t really like Brody/Rogue at all for a good chunk of the beginning, even though we see how awesome he was in the flashbacks and how much he loved Aurora. It was clear he had somehow been betrayed or hurt before their breakup, but we don’t get specifics until later. He was justifiably angry. Still I felt he was a little too much with his hatred at times, so it took me a bit to warm up. Her father lives in their town, and she grew up there, so being livid and personally affronted that she dared to set foot in that town seemed a bit much. IJS. I loathe my ex, but I wouldn’t be aggressively livid about him being in the same town as me. Just stay away from me. If it’s a large enough town that he had no clue about any if the things going on with her father, it was big enough to avoid her. Well, except for them showing up at the same bar 😏

These two were opposite sides of the tracks young sweethearts, and so in love. They ran off and got married fresh out of high school, and swore they would be together forever. Until they weren’t. A positive pregnancy test followed with “it’s not yours” leaves young Brody certain she cheated, and rather than deny it she flees. Thirteen years go by, during which his hatred for her grows, while her life continues to spiral. I enjoyed watching them both struggle through all their conflicting emotions as they found their way back to each other. There’s some club drama, some club wh0re drama, and a great group of supporting characters, like the club wives that welcome Rory before Rogue even did.

**Trigger warning**
-SA
-miscarriage (which is only mentions as having happened, not in detail)
-OW - well before he gets back w/ Rory, but after she returns, it clearly shows him trying to get her out of his head and getting a BJ from a club wh0re and falling asleep with her. Not really a fan of explicitly seeing either the H/h with anyone else, but it was before they were back together. Some people take that has a hard no, so I mentioned it.

Definitely enjoyed this book, like I did the others. I only mentioned that it took me a bit to get drawn in so that others would know it’s worth sticking out if they find the same for them.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "IRON BOND" This is quite the intense emotional rollercoaster ride with suspense, intrigue, danger, secrets revealed, angst, action, betrayal, steam twists that make for a very addicting read from start to finish.
Brody aka Rogue is ok part of Lords of Carnage Ironwood MC the girl who ripped his heart out when kids shows up in Ironwood after 13yrs. Aurora aka Rory Wilkins is back in Ohio because her very wealthy father is sick.
Rogue was the one who was poor his father was the Gardner for Rory's father & he from the wrong side of the tracts she was suppose to be untouchable but he did touch her said she loved him & he beloved her then she did the one thing she couldn't forgive.
Rory runs smack into a rival MC she in danger Rogue never wanted to see her again, but there's nithi G he won't do to protect her.
I definitely recommend to get this interesting intriguing read you won't be disappointed will Rogue & Rory get a HEA with evetything that happened in the past you have to get this book to see what happens. ANOTHER AWESOME READ!!!!!

This was a good read for me. The writing was good (as it always is from this author), but I felt like there could have been more to the story. Rogue and Rory have been separated for 13 years. We get the details of what happened in the past, but in the present day, they're pretty much back together after 2 conversations. There should have been a lot more communication IMO. I would have also liked some resolution with Rogue's dad and what happened to Rory. There wasn't anything mentioned. The rest of the story was good though, and I thought that Rogue and Rory were good together. I liked that Rory was welcomed into the MC family with no questions asked. She was with Rogue, so she was family. The ending was nice, and I was happy to see them get the HEA.

Rogue x Aurora

UGH okay one of my favorite ever tropes is the second chance trope specifically when they split because person A “did something” and person B got pissed and walked away but they don’t actually know what happened (most likely due to miscommunication or a lack of communication) so then later on when they get a second chance and still kinda hate person A for what they did and person A finally reveals that it isn’t all what they thought it was and person B feels so awful and guilty?? Yeah, I like that shit. I feel so vindicated and powerful. I love it. Him finding out that his friend r*ped his girl and then hurting him? I loved that. I probably would give this 4.5 stars just because I wish there was a little more to the ending but I loved the book and the series!

Rory has come back to town thirteenth years later her dad is sick. But she is dreading running into Rogue (aka Brody) her husband. And guess what she does at a local bar and he’s not happy to see her. Rogue and some of his brother come into Vikings a bar that the M.C. Owns for a few drinks but what he see makes him not so happy, his estranged wife. But thing change one night at a M.C. Barbecue when a guy from another club come on to Rory and won’t take no for a answer. That night things change but there is still a lot of trouble before things change. So enjoy another good read!!

This book is a perfect example of what youth and miscommunication will do to a relationship. I enjoy this author because she gives me just enough violence to go with my happy. It really is a perfect balance.

Rogue was the quiet, loner intellectual of this band of outlaws and now that I have his story, it just fits. I was thrilled when Rory came home and it all fit like a jigsaw puzzle. There was so many misunderstandings and betrayal going on here. I am not talking only the H/h, but we had some parents who absolutely should not have had children at work in this story. I’m loving spending time in Ironwood.
