Read this with my 9 year old. He and I are both AuDHDers. We both loved it. I love how it helps explain to kids how brains are different which isn't a bad thing. It teaches that we shouldn't be ashamed just because our brains aren't neurotypical. The illustrations are also well done as well.

My son and I would reccomend this book to ALL kids aged 6+!

A lovely introduction for kids into the many ways to have a brain. Loving and supportive wording in addition to beautiful illustrations that help lift and guide the storyline. I did feel it was a little light on information in the ways ADHD is experienced however as an introduction to neurodivergence it strikes a good balance. And I will be buying a cauliflower ☺️

A beautiful book for young children (kindergarten and lower primary) that helps children understand neurodiversity in other people giving examples
Of the different types of brains (asd, adhd, dyslexia etc) and how they function. I enjoyed this book immensely and my children did too!

Sometimes the things we're asked to do suit other brains more.
When we ask everyone what THEY need, we know more than we did before.

Great book to teach neurodivergence. Slightly harder concepts that are a bit wordy, so need parent to expand on information for younger readers.
