One man's story of turning blood, sweat, and tears into a successful living--literally! After his untimely death as the hardest-working salary man in Japan, Luciel is reincarnated into the magical fantasy world Galdardia. Always the man with a plan, he recreates himself to be a healer, and sets about making his way in the world. But while Luciel knows a thing or two about making money, he knows absolutely nothing about Galdardia. Will his good heart and great work ethic be enough to make him... The Great Cleric ?
Recently reincarnated ex-salaryman Luciel is determined to make his new lease on life in the world of Galdardia a long and peaceful one. His efforts to learn basic healing magic may have paid off sooner than he thought, but the easy road looks to be long gone. Between gulping down the ominous Substance X, healing fledgling adventurers, and surviving Brod’s strict training regimen, could Luciel’s gluttony for punishment be his undoing?!
Luciel is back in The Great Cleric Volume 2 and he’s awesome! He’s a Healer who used to be a salaryman in another world. He’s got some crazy enemies and problems, but he’s also got a secret weapon: “Substance X”. It makes him super strong and cool!
The manga is so fun to read, with amazing art and epic fights. Check this out if you like fantasy, comedy and isekai.
It’s ok, but kinda boring. He just trains and heals every day. I’m not sure why Monica works at the healers guild, but had to take her friend to a healer, where the fee was so exorbitant they were forced into slavery…. he calls it a loophole, but selling people to slave traders in a free country sounds straight illegal, not a loophole.

Still a lot of character/world building in this volume, and I was hoping for a bit more. Towards the end we start to see some drama unfolding for a longer plot line. Hopefully the next volumne picks up speed significantly. Still a reads well, and quickly for it's length this time though.
Still having a fun time with this one. I take it we’re getting out of the training zone and into more exciting parts of the story next volume, so I’m looking forward to that!
