Every Expectation Surpassed!
I was really excited about this book, but then I got in my head and put off reading it immediately, afraid it wouldn't live up to my expectations. It surpassed every single one of them! This may have been my first book by Renae and Lara (RL Kenderson), but it won't be my last! Not by a long shot.
HOT! 🔥 Oh, so very HOT! Steamy. Erotic. Panty-melting goodness!
The exhibition and voyeurism, the dirty talking, and the immeasurable, combustible chemistry between Delaney and Preston St. James III made the pages fly by. I honestly did not want to ever put this down!
While it was sad, fine, it was heartbreaking to see what led to the distance that caused their separation seeing them work past it was sweet and very rewarding - in more ways than one. 😉 I did shed tears, though. 💔😢...❤🌞
I did feel a little bad for Theo as his hopes were dashed, but what a way for that to happen! 🔥🔥🔥 I'm serious about this being super hot!

I absolutely LOVED revisiting Delaney and Preston St. James III! I suspect I'll be doing it again at some point. They are just so incredibly naughty and carnal, plus they have a heartfelt story that I absolutely can't get enough of.
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators, Elena Moore and Finnley Cole, are good. I've listened to both multiple times and like them. That said, I would qualify the audio quality as just being good. My concerns aren't going to stop me from listening again. It's just an observation.
Story: 5 stars
Narration: 3.5 stars
Listening Speed: 1.6x

FAVORITE BOOK OF THE SERIES OMFG

I have loved this series, with each couple becoming my new favorite. I wasn't sure if anyone could top Cade from book 2, but damn, Preston is gonna beat him out of the top spot.
These two were pure fire. A connection so true, so fierce that even a divorce couldn't stop the it. There were roadblocks and set backs. It wasn't all sunshine and sex. I liked that so much. Love and relationships are messy sometimes... they even come with the baggage that is a B of mother in law!
This was a sweet and oh so steamy second chance at love read. It was emotional, captivating and even made a bit teary eyed. So sad to see this series end.

As much as I hated seeing her, the reality was, I didn’t hate her at all. 😭
What a great read. Fantastic word building, steamy, kept me entertained. Delaney and Preston were sugar and spice and everything not so nice. They brought the smexyness. Love a good second chance romance and add in that they had a child together made it even better for me.. only downside for me was that I wasn't aware this was part of a series but that didn't effect me enjoying this read.

This was good, and I'm happy he stayed celibate during separation - it was such a change of pace for the heroine to be the one who doesn't which I respected, but still didn't enjoy it, I would wish both of them had.

– Celibate H/non-celibate h (she slept with 2 men but didn't enjoy it)
– H was a manho in his college years
– Divorced for 2 years with a 2.5 year old son
– No cheating (they were officially divorced when she did)
– No OW/OM drama
– HEA ending + epilogues

Where do I find a man like Preston???
This is the third book in the Rendezvous Series. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the series in order (mainly due to then all being amazing)
I devoured this book in just a few hours! I was so invested in these two and their story that I literally couldn’t put it down.
Preston and Delaney are absolutely made for each other. The love and pure heat they felt for one another was practically leaping off the page.
I am a bit of a sucker for a second chance romance and was rooting for these two from the very start of the book.
The spice in this book was next level, so if you’re not one for lots of steam in your books, this isn’t for you (I LOVED it!)
I really enjoyed them reading them going about their lives and just being parents, it was written in a way that was very realistic and made it easy for relate to the characters more.
Another fantastic book from these two amazing writers and I can’t wait to read what they write next!

Yay! This book is everything I wanted and soooo much more! 100 out of 5 stars! It is magical, it is perfect, it is steamy and it is a beautiful love story. I fell in love with these characters as soon as they were introduced in The D Appointment book, which is first in the series. From the moment I read them, I wanted Preston and Delaney to get their own book. Learning about their back story and how they were divorced but clues lead to the possibility of them still having feelings for each other as noted in The D Appointment and The C Appointment I needed their story so badly. Now here we are and I couldn’t love them or this book anymore. It is bumped up to one of my absolute favorite books ever!!!!
The chemistry these two have is incredible. They are magical together. The more I read, the more I wanted to reach in and shake them to be together. The love they have for one another is beautiful. They not only respect each other, they genuinely care for one another. It was beautiful to see them miserable without out one another. My heart broke for them. But the minute they decide to see where this P Appointment could go, it was like fireworks went off in my heart. I was doing a happy dance for them. But don’t let this review make you believe their relationship is all rainbows and butterflies. They work to fight for each other. And it isn’t easy, especially since they both aren’t sure if this is temporary or permanent. See soooo good! It had me on the edge of my seat.
R.L. Kenderson’s writing is incredible! These two take you on an awesome, hot, fun journey, one where you wish you lived in the story. I love their characters, I love that we got to see more of Vivian and Dominick, Rayne and Cade. I love the friendship the ladies have and how they are all their for each other. I loved all their stories and the hotness that came with each one, Delaney and Preston are definitely my favorite. The love they have for each other is incredible. It pulled at my heartstrings big time. I didn’t want the book to end and yet I loved the ending sooo much. I highly highly highly recommend you read this book and the two others if you haven’t. So many great elements of this book, I don't even know where to start!
If you don't like spice, this definitely isn't the book for you. Just like many books from this fantastic duo, the spice is plentiful, and there is no waiting for that 50% mark! Delaney and Preston can't keep their hands off each other.
One of my favorite things about this duo is that they often present characters that have motivates that aren't the typical motivates of other romance novels. I don't really want to spoil anything, but for instance in this book the reasoning behind Delaney and Preston getting a divorce. I was so thankful it wasn't cheating as that is a hard no for me. It also wasn't that they grew apart or stopped loving each other. It was done in a way that able to add some layers and depth to Preston.
Preston standing up to his mom on Delaney's behalf was hilarious. Making it clear to her that if she couldn't be nice he had no trouble removing her from their lives. He only regretted he didn't do it sooner.
The characters being closer to 40 was a nice change to a lot of other books on the markets. The characters were realistic and Delaney's internal thoughts on her body were so relatable as a mom myself.
If you like spice, second chance romance, exhibitionism, light degradation (not normally something I like but it was done so well here), or accidental pregnancy you will love this book.

I thought my favorite book in the series would be book 2, but I was wrong! Preston is my favorite and so spicy.
It’s such a hard thing to balance divorce, but it’s done beautifully. It felt believable without being incredibly heavy. I love that they repaired their marriage and there were a few surprise scenes in here that had me blushing.
Preston and Delaney were married for years when their marriage fell apart. They each had their reasons for what happened, but they never really got over each other. Then one night, they give in to the always present attraction leading to an ongoing benefits arrangement.
The chemistry between these two was unmatched and their inner monologues added such value to this story because we all love a pining couple! Insane spice!

Delaney St. James has been divorced from her ex, Preston, for a year, but she still finds it hard to see him whenever they do a handover of their little boy, Paxton. He was the love of her life but she left him when things changed between them after Paxton was born. She's never met anyone else who does it for her, especially when the chemistry between them sizzles as furiously as ever. One night together again changes the dynamic in their relationship but Delaney's not sure if she can risk her heart once more.

Gaaaahhh!! Preston and his dirty mouth! I squirmed at the hot AF scenes between him and Delaney! 🥵🥵🥵 I loved their connection and the love that still burned brightly between them. I liked that they didn't play games with each other. Delaney recognised the risk of getting hurt all over again, but she just couldn't resist him. Preston's love for her was obvious and I adored how he defended her against his mother, as well as how he staked his claim on her. Aside from the sexiness, I also found this to be pretty emotional as they struggled with the marriage they lost, and also with Preston's fears. Their little boy, Paxton, was so cute and the three of them made such an adorable family. Absolutely love this writing duo and I totally need to read some more of their books.

This is a second chance type of steamy romance of the enjoyable fluff type.
Delaney and Preston used to be married and sex used to be good but something happened after she gave birth to their first child and he stopped touching her. I sorta kinda figured it out before I was told but Delaney had no clue. And she opted for getting a divorce instead of getting a clue. Now they are co-parenting their son and as circumstances bring them in closer contact it becomes obvious that the sexual spark is still there. He wants them to be each other's regular booty call and she is not against the notion.
Series status: This is the third book about a group of friends who are female lawyers and found love in unlikely places. I have been waiting for this story because the earlier books had hints that Preston and Delaney might still be carrying the torch. The friends and their partners make cameos and for those who are interested, there are brief updates that everything is still OK with them. (Has there ever been a series in which the chick from book one has ditched the jerkhole she got together by the third book and gets to start over in book four?)

Tropes in this book are second chance, spicy romance like really spicy, accidental pregnancy and more.
Delaney and Preston are divorced but they still loved each other. They made mistakes and it costs them their mariage. But they find their way back to each others and it’s great.
With their son, they are a beautiful family. Paxton is really a cute little boy.
When Delaney and Preston are together it’s explosif and dirty. Yeah they love the dirty talk with each other. Especially with the piercing of Delaney.
I really like the story about these two. They deserve to be happy with their family.
Natalie is a great character and I like her a lot.
It was my first book by RL Kenderson and now I need to read more books by her. Her writing is beautiful and I feel like I was in the story. She has a gift to write the emotions of her characters.
I read this book in one sitting this afternoon.

I love that we finally get Delaney and Preston’s story. I just knew I was going to love them. I mean you can’t help but love Delaney once you meet her in the other books so yo get her whole story was great. Oh and what a story it was. The love oh guys the love between those two was so sweet. At first o was ready to hate Preston because I just knew he had messed up some kind of way for their marriage to end. However when I read what the real reason for their divorce I was devastated. There couldn’t have been a way to repair things and saved their marriage if only there had been communication but they were just so broken at the time that they were so numb and ready to give up. I however loved their journey back to each other and that everything was finally out on the open and dealt with and drunken or not they were married again. I loved them and their journey and I highly recommend it.

THIS BOOK WAS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE 😩
This second chance romance definitely is up in my top 5😭 Delaney & Preston honestly have my heart. They’re were married and had little Paxton but after his birth Preston distanced himself from Delaney which resulted in a divorce.
They both had joint custody of Paxton but Preston was still in love with his ex-wife even after the divorce and had never dared to be with another woman - he couldn’t even stand the thought. The reason he distanced himself was due to the fact of Paxtons traumatic birth, and honestly my heart broke for Preston as he was unable to move past the birth and he felt as though he couldn’t touch his wife as he didn’t want to put her at risk of getting pregnant once again😭
Without giving much away book is absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed reading Preston and Delaneys journey. Also little Paxton stole the show🫶🏼

I have really enjoyed this series and I think this might be the final book which makes it all a little bittersweet.
Preston and Delaney’s story is the ultimate second chance at love. Throughout most of the book I needed to know why they split up to begin with. The inner musings from Delaney as she contemplated Preston’s previous actions had me nowhere near guessing what actually happened until it gets to the part where he explained himself. It actually made me feel quite sad, but the flip side to this particular coin was that they did actually come back together again, and it made for quite some incredible reading.
Magnificent storytelling which I have now come to expect from this writing duo and I look forward to reading their next book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book

Oh my gosh! How much do you love Preston? He is such an alpha male but a fuzzy teddy bear! That man loves Delaney with everything that he has! Delaney is such a strong and beautiful woman. It broke my heart what Laney felt, I know what it's like to feel that emotional disconnect from the person you love. This was such an amazing story, I read it within a few hours. The story telling was just amazing! ❤️❤️❤️

This book was so good!! OMG!!! I hadn't read a second chance romance book before but this one had me rooting for Laney and Preston the entire time! The way that they talk about their feelings for one another in their respective POVs was quite literally swoon worthy! I really enjoyed the pace of this book and the way that Laney and Preston's stories are laid out. BRB while I add all R.L. Kenderson books to my tbr/wishlist!

I have been waiting for Delany’s story since I first met her in the first book in this series. And I absolutely loved it. From the start, this story catches and holds your attention. Delany and Preston are divorced, but they each still care for the other one. And they still want each other. And after one night of being together again, they can’t keep their hands to themselves. I absolutely loved everything about this book. And I just loved all of these characters. This was a super fast read, and I definitely recommend it and any other book by this author.

Preston & Delaney's marriage ended quietly two years ago after the birth of their son. It made me so sad but their reunion warmed and broke my heart at once - of course that was after I got a fan and ice water to cool myself down from all the heat they generated!
I love these two! And you can tell they still love each other. They definitely haven't forgotten their chemistry from the good ol' days!

HOLY CRAP this book is going to burn up your e-reader AND possible make you want to tear up. Preston is so freaking H.O.T. As a couple, they are fire. Delaney is strong in her own right too. But man…what I love is that R.L Kenderson always gives me a great story and an emotional connection..wow the scene where they discuss Paxton’s birth..bring on the tears. I’d give this a 10 if I could.

When going into this book I wasn't sure how I felt about second chance romances, but I did grow to like that trope when reading this book. But whilst I liked how both main characters basically never stopped caring about each other, the book did start to get a bit too repetitive for my liking, so I had to stop reading

I am absolutely obsessed with this book—without a doubt, it’s my favorite in the series! From the very first page, I was completely hooked on Preston and Delaney’s journey. Their story had me glued to the book, devouring every moment. And seriously, where can I find a guy like Preston?!
These two were made for each other. The love, the passion, and the raw intensity between them leaped right off the page. Their connection was so deep and all-consuming that I felt every emotion right along with them. I love a good second-chance romance, and this one had me rooting for them from start to finish. The ups and downs, the tension, the longing—it was all so perfectly written. And let’s talk about the spice—wow, it was on another level! The chemistry between them was *insane*, making every romantic moment even more powerful.

The P Arrangement was definitely my favorite book out of the whole series. This book had so much raw emotion; I devoured it seriously; I couldn't put it down; I read it in one sitting.
