This gorgeously illustrated hardcover book of over 100 animals includes snippets of interesting information about habitats and food chains. At the back of the book are shown a few animals that are extinct and a few that are endangered. There is also a glossary of 28 words.
Animals are grouped into different categories: mammals; birds; reptiles; amphibians; fish; invertebrates.
This is a wonderful book from which to learn.

A fun, beautiful book with broad information about a wide variety of animals. It was an easy and enjoyable read. If there was new information, I do not remember it at this moment, but it was a good read all the same.
