When Marin first meets Rocco, the future ruling alpha, she feels drawn to him like she’s never felt drawn to anyone before. But she knows he’s off limits—someone like him would never get involved with someone like her, not when she comes from a family of troublemakers.
After the pair kiss at a masked ball, Marin is left wanting Rocco more than ever, but knowing it can’t happen, she has to protect her heart even as she risks breaking his.
Rocco can’t help but wonder what life would be like if he was with the beautiful Marin, but he also knows that her family’s status wouldn’t go over well with his parents or with the pack. Choosing Marin as his mate could mean giving up his birthright as the pack’s alpha. And he can’t give up everything to be with Marin. Can he?

Lola Gabriel loves reading and writing paranormal romances. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she has fond memories of retreating to the woods for long hikes. The towering evergreens, natural waterfalls, and soothing rain often set the scenery for her characters' romantic encounters.
*Lola Gabriel was created by a group of friends who all write under the nom de plume. For the sake of simplicity, we use “she” and “I” for Lola’s communication.
I am so sorry to note that this 7th novel will be the last book in the Eternity Shifter series by Lola Gabriel. This has been such an exciting and entertaining series that I hate to see it end. The paranormal world she has created for this series has been fantastic. In this world, there are 15 High Rulers that can be of any species, who rule over a distinct area of the world. Under the High Rulers are Rulers for each species in that territory and under those Rulers are the Alphas for each pack.
High Ruler Filip (see Wolf’s Baby, the 4th novel in this series, for his story) lost a bet with High Ruler Oskar, who rules over Northern Europe. As a result, Oskar has requested that Filip release his second in command, Daria, a falcon shifter, to help with the falcon shifters in his territory. Apparently, there have been a lot of turnovers with conflicts and new leadership and Oskar would like someone of Daria’s caliber to train them. It doesn’t help that Daria and Oskar hate each other and have done so for hundreds of years. In addition, Filip’s headquarters is located in Florida and Oskar’s is located in Iceland and Daria hates cold weather! When she arrives, she discovers that there is much more going on than just new leadership. As she works through the problems as best as she can, she also discovers a new side to Oskar that she hadn’t seen before.
This book was every bit as wonderful as every other novel in the series, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from this author. In addition to the parameters of the shifter world outlined above, the world building for Iceland was equally well described. The character development was detailed and allowed the reader to immerse themselves in the book. There are a lot of mysteries going on and the climax was taut and dramatic. This was a great conclusion of this outstanding series!
My Rating: 5 + Stars!

Daria is a falcon shifter, she works for High Ruler Filip in America. He looses a bet with another High Ruler which ends up affecting Daria. She is to help High Ruler Oskar in training new Alphas and Rulers, since the previous ones were executed for treason. She hates Oskar as he previously commented that falcons were weak. High Ruler Oskar is a wolf shifter, he is starting to rethink his request to have Daria assist him in training new Alphas and Rulers as he remembers what he said to her years ago, but surely she has forgotten now. When Daria arrives, she finds out her task is much harder than she realised and she will need to stay longer than planned. This puts her around High Ruler Oskar for much longer than she would like. However, it soon seems that she needs to make a decision, will she either end up trying to kill him or mate with him.
This book is part of a series, it would be helpful to read previous books in the series to understand who some characters are and how they relate to each other. This is a shifter romance story. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.

Wow! From beginning to end it just kept me captivated.
Well a book that begins with the main female lead telling her boss she was "pre-annoyed" was hilarious! That's when you are already annoyed but "it's only going to get worse from here!".
It set the stage for the whole book perfectly, reaching from the depths of despair to filled with fun and laughter.

I love everything about this book. This is the first in the series I have read and need to read the rest.
Daria and Oskar are fantastic. I love Daria's strength and persistence. Her belief in her own abilities is extraordinary and her ability to work in the face of adversity makes a fantastic story.
Oskar... When he drops the snark and ire he is a force to be reconned with.
Lola Gabriel has manages to keep you guessing for the entire journey.
I liked the storyline and enjoyed 99% of the book, the way everything was described and the world created was really good I didn’t like some things in the book though. I know it’s might seem ridiculous to most people but the way the characters speak to each other sometimes felt a bit confusing and stunted. The titles of the shifters in charge was unusual and I’ve never read anything like it before. I did enjoy the book though, it was little things that I didn’t enjoy quite so much. I’m sure everyone else will love it. It is very slow to get going and I think honestly that’s where I had the most problems with it. I got bored. 4 stars just because of the things I had an issue with.

High Rulers Oskar and Filip hate each other with a vengeance and are constantly trying to get the better of each other. When Filip loses a bet to Oskar, Daria has to travel to Oskar’s territory to help train a new Falcon alpha. Oskar has dealt with many unruly alphas, even having some put to death, but now he has to try to subdue the alphas left to bring peace to the area. Oskar and Kira are constantly banging heads regarding how to resolve the issues they are facing which makes this a great read and the intrigue makes it a constant page turner. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
Egosas big as a mountain do not work well with shifter strength and when naturaleniiesneed to learn to worktogether it can cause some major problems Who is causing the trouble ? You will have to read most of the book to find out but that is no hardship as it is very well written full of suprises and wonderful characters that will keep you wanting to read and even coming back to read it again and again.

A well-written story that has a different take on the shifter world and how the different species work.
Daria is second in command under Filip, so when Filip loses a bet with Oskar and she's ordered by Filip to go to Iceland to train the new alpha's falcon shifters she has no choice but to go. Oskar had insulted Daria and all Falcon shifters a few hundred years ago and she still held a grudge.
Eight centuries later they must work together to train the falcon alphas and whilst doing so their relationship changes. The story includes action, intrigue, and some romance!
Even before Daria met Oskar she didn't trust him and she planned on making things hard for him. But when she realizes why he wanted her to be by his side things take a big turn. This is a shifters romance with a great storyline, interesting characters, danger, twists, and a page turning story that I read nonstop until the last page. Ruling Wolf is book seven and the final book in the Eternity Shifters series. I look forward to reading the next great series by this fabulous author. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Oskar and Filip had a bet and Filip lost so he had to send Daria his second in command to Iceland to train the new alphas and the new alpha ruler of the falcon shifters. The alphas would fight against each other, alpha ruler was poisoned and Daria was kidnapped by some rabbit shifters because they wanted to cause problems. Good book!.

I loved this book. Daria is so fierce and headstrong, and finds herself strong armed into helping her boss' colleague. She arrives with preconceived ideas and prejudices. Oskar is upset about finding himself having to beg for help to get his shifters in order. Shifters of all types, even rabbit shifters!, witches and warlocks make this read an adventure. Plots, intrigues, betrayals and bad behaviour had me hooked the whole way through.
Oskar and Daria start off rocky and then their relationship explodes into a minefield of emotions. They have to figure out a lot before they can even begin to think about their relationship but in the end it all works out. This was a fast-paced exciting story that keeps the heart pumping and your eyes glued to the pages.

Oskar and Daria have a difficult beginning since she doesn’t trust him at the beginning. She determines to stand up to him and resist. But then she finds out why he wanted her to be with him. Will she change her mind and work with him to defeat a common threat? Has she changed her mind about him and is she ready to accept him into her life?
Fast-paced and exciting, this story will pull the reader into the action and make it worth your time to read the story.
I absolutely loved this book. I loved how Oskar thought Daria wore too many layers even though after Florida, of course she’d be cold. It was awesome how they got over their spite of each other. This book will not lose your attention at anytime throughout. I couldn’t put it down with all the twists, surprises, drama, suspense, passion, and so much more.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Ruling Wolf, the seventh and final story in Lola Gabriel's Eternity Shifters series. This read gives us Daria and Oskar's frenemy story. Despite a slow start, this story is an amazing finish to this series. This series is best when read in order.
