Melina had grown up most of her life in a Werewolf pack and she never knew it. Her parents gave full guardianship of Melina to her best friend’s mother so they could pursue other important dreams they had for themselves. Melina was just an accident, an accident that made Melina wonder what love truly was. If she couldn’t gain the love of her parents, what makes her think she would find it elsewhere?
It was one day when her best friend came out to her as… a Werewolf. Tulip had found her mate and a wonderful ceremony was to be prepared for her in a distant land and Melina was to travel with them. Melina still skeptical about soulmates and bonding, agrees to go with her best friend to watch and discover a brand-new world around her. Little does Melina know, she might find something more than just a new world, but a mate for herself.
♥This book is in a Series, but can be read as a stand-alone. This is an epic novel, long with romance and adventure in a new world.♥
♥This book contains sexual content, some forms of BDSM such as spanking, bondage, dominate and submissive relationship with daddy calling tendencies and violence. Not suited for anyone under 18.♥
Ah, I finally finished this book. This one was more raunchy than its predecessors, though it was a welcome one. The H was flirty fun on the outside but so fierce and had his own darkness inside. Our h was starting as a meek sweet character in the beginning but then blossomed into a courageous and loyal character in the end. I liked how the all characters developed during the course of the story. Yep, it wasn't only the MCs. Although the main story was the Fae King and his mate, the story also evolved around the side characters, which made the story far more interesting. It also helped us get the full experience in the Light Kingdom of Bergarian realm.
Possible triggers: child abuse and mental abuse (all mentioned in passing), bit gore details on the fight and fights Virgin h, celibate H 800 years old King Fae H, 20 yrs old (not so) human female One true mate for a life story The secret birth story Royal political intrigue with some rebellions 20% action Medium-high steam smutty No cheating OM/OW was someone who was crushing H/h Kink: DD/LG play, some soft bondage play, domination and disicpline HEA, epilogue Overall score: 3.5 paranormal romance stars
The author’s books in this series are long and very satisfying. Just unbelievable how each event unfolds. At first I was afraid there was going to be too much sex and no storyline. But that was not the case. I absolutely loved everything about Atlantis especially descriptions of their clothing, shells, color. Melina’s transformation once bonded was fantastically described. I really enjoy reading about the various supernaturals and their gifts.
5 FREAKING STARS!!! This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it’s definitely not going to be my last. I loved every page and I couldn’t put it down!
This book is about a human girl named Melina, left by her parents at a very young age because they didn’t want the responsibility of raising a kid. So they asked her best friend Tulip parents to be her guardian.
Melina moved to live near Tulip and her family, but Tulip’s community wasn’t human, they were werewolves. When Tulip met her mate and had to travel with him to his home in another realm, that’s when they had to tell Melina who they really are. It’s was a lot for Melina to accept, but her love for her best friend, she knew she would accept Tulip’s true nature.
Melina traveled with Tulip’s family to another realm meeting other supernaturals, like Faes, Sirens, Witches and Dragons. The author described this world so beautifully I fell in love myself.
During Tulip’s mating ceremony, Melina, being a shy character never thought she would find her mate and him being the King Fae. It’s a lot for Melina to accept and understand.
Fast forwarding to Melina’s life changing when she met a Siren and she realizes that her parents were not telling her the truth of who she really is.
So much had changed for Melina, lots of truths being revealed, from finding her true love and her true family.
Yes, that’s right!!! This book is packed with a lot of love, sex, drama, action, comedy and the best of it all HEA!
Thank you Vera Foxx for taking me through a world where I felt like the scenery and characters I would love to see in real. I loved the storylines you created for each character. I loved it and can’t wait to read more of your books.
I really wanted to like this book, truly, I did. I love the premise behind it but the writing was just... Not it. The main character was set out to be this gorgeous innocent virgin, in the first 50 pages she had 3? Different guys hitting on her. The way the MC was played out and described was just not flattering in my opinion, she actually really annoyed me at times, the writing on its own was okay, but the characters and their developement was severely lacking in my opinion, the whole story felt rushed from the begining and I just didn't enjoy myself. Characters fell over themselves with her beauty and it felt like there was no humility to the story at all. The mmc was just as bad, he was depicted as this ancient fae with a stone heart, but it all just felt so... Corny. There were so many different tropes in here it felt like the story was just thrown together. A lot of the 'world building' was just some random character going "oh yeah and this is true so deal with that" which just made the story feel less immersive. It honestly felt like I was reading someone trying to describe a dream they'd had and barely remembered. I ended up giving up at around page 200 and just skipped to the epilogue. This book was just not it for me, no hate towards the author or anyone who enjoyed this book, this is just my personal opinion.
I loved this story. This is number 3 in the series, and they've all been great! They've been long and detailed and have a lot of great sex scenes, haha! The only thing that is disappointing is that the writing isn't up to par. And it's been getting worse with each book. I understand little mistakes here and there and not being caught by editing, those are fine. But having to rewrite sentences in your head every few pages cause they don't make sense or blatant grammatical errors, like using me or I are just brutal coming from a professional author. We're these books even edited at all? I'm not trying to be judgemental here and put the author down, it's just that I hold authors to a higher standard when it comes to writing because it's their profession. This story had wonderful characters in it. Osiris was a charming king, intelligent, charismatic, and so caring for his people. Melina was a bit whiney and bratty at times, especially since she started as such an independent character, but she was Osiris' perfect match. All the little creatures in the story were so endearing, you could just picture how cute they were. I recommend this story to anyone who wants a love story with some action, adventure, magic, fantasy, and a whole lot more. Enjoy!
I loved Osirus and Melina’s story. This is the second book I’ve read by Vera Fox and I must say it is great reading a book that has no cliffhangers.
This is a story about overcoming your own personal doubts and challenges. The characters worked perfectly together, and the plot had some great twists, and naughty bits. I totally enjoyed the Red Fury and there’s a dragon. This was fantasy at its best and I can’t wait to read the other books in this series.
Although this is a series I like that each can be read as a standalone book with no cliffhangers. There are links to characters and story line in others books, but you don’t have to read them to get the full story being told.
The only negative of the book was there were some stray sentences and editing markups, and in a couple places characters were referred to as the wrong name. Outside of that this is a good novel that will have you turning page after page. Totally enjoyed it.
Quem aguenta as preliminares mal escritas?
Muito mal escrito. Essa autora não precisa de um revisor, precisa de aulas
Dropped 2022 Fated mates needed to be done right, somehow the H managed to fucked it up by woo is me, I just want my mate, he’s also been celibate but previously he was fucking women once and discarding them since he was waiting for his mate. Don’t really know how a book with a celibate H could still trigger my safety but it did. Of course the h is pure, with trust issue waiting for her true love to lose her V card… while the H got to fuck around while believing his mate is still there only until recently when he was bored and depressed that he stop fucking his harem. There’s one thing if the H doesn’t care for the true mate thing or doesn’t believe in it and sleeps with OP but there’s another that he did and still do it.
Also no chemistry between them and the h was a push over, thought she was going to pull more when they first met but she’s all talk. And the way this author writes an 800 years old powerful fae king is crap with his juvenile attitudes.
Also still hungover from reading The King’s Captive by K.M. Shea and this book is not the cure

Melina was abandoned by her parents to live with her best friend from a young age in a world of werewolves she didn't know existed til her friend reveals it all when she goes with her friend Tulip to her wedding, she finds herself a mate in King Osirus, of the Fae, but can he persuade her that love is real? Well written steamy read, with paranormal, BDSM, and more a great read long but worth the time!.
Ok I won’t be long but if you are looking for a great paranormal romance series look no further!!! This is book 3 in the under the moon series, which has a couple for each book, they each get hea and connect with the other books! Vera Foxx is one of my favorite authors, this is my 2nd time reading her series and I get the feels every time! I can’t wait till we get the other characters that will have their own books!
Vera, my love. You have blown my mind. 100/10 girl. Wooow. I love Melina and I love the twists and turns in this story. Thank you. Just thank you. My mind is still blown. By far my favorite. I know that will probably change for the next one. Exceeds expectations. What a beautiful world that you have created.
I love that you could never really get a handle on what would happen next. This book really kept me guessing and I loved all the moving pieces. Osiris and Melania sure had a time of it it. Every attack meant to hurt or main and you almost never saw it coming. Geez I didn't think the happily ever after would come.
I think I would have preferred some individual stories for some of Osirus’ men, but, I thoroughly enjoyed all the love found in this book. The way Osirus loves her, simply swoon.
Fated mates Super spicy Vampires, shifters, fae, mer and more Engaging plot
It saddens me so much, more like absolutely breaks me, to know this is the last book of this series i had not read.(apart from the one i dnf that i will fully read through next year) All the characters have been there to make me smile when i just needed a break from reality. But now im done... :( And now all i have left is only to re-read, but everyone knows it's not the same.
I enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I really liked the dynamic and chemistry between Melina and Osirus. I found the story captivating and was hooked right there with Melina from the start. I will be reading more form this series. 4 stars.
Love this book. It really brought so many beloved characters together. I will reread this series over and over. I hope it is put on Audible and listeners can experience the great story that way.
A love story between a human and Fae. If you like to read fiction and more about romance give this book a chance! Spicy, spunk, and love all in an amazing story plot!
Loved the book. Another good read. It was like mate matching season. It was fun guessing who is going to be who's mate. I really enjoyed it. Some where easy to guess. There were also secrets revealed like drama galore lol.
I remember reading the first and loving it, then after the second I wanted to jump to the twins book but I’m glad I went in order. I’ll continue with the order because I love love love these books!!
Love the series and absolutely love this book!! Just keeps getting better! Characters are amazing, so much emotion. A must read for anyone who loves supernatural books!!
