Just when I think it can't get any worse, the network sends us to Florida for a conference. When we arrive, we find out we'll be stuck sharing the same hotel room. And that's when it happens. Somewhere in the haze of hating him, I wind up wanting him. But there's no way I can fall for someone who doesn't respect my beliefs.

Those first chapters were such a firecracker. I couldn’t stop laughing! The rest was also enjoyable, but nothing was able to top when the nerdy scientist had to wear the models clothes!

I really wish I had better things to say about this book, but both of the protagonists, Ben and Sera, just seemed so toxic in their behaviour throughout this book that it really put me off!
I HATE HATE HATE the miscommunication and huge blowup before letting the other person explain trope, and there was just way too much of that in this.
Both of the MCs just seemed a bit shallow and trying too hard to be nerdy? Yet exhibiting toxic and narcissistic behaviours at the same time..

This was a cute Rom-Com and I thought reading Ben and Sara's story was fun, sometimes infuriating lol but overall an easy read. If you like books with easy plots and fun writing you should try this book!

I’m disappointed with how cheesy and cringy this book was. It seems like it’s written by an adult who is trying to be cool by using “teenage” slang or someone who thinks they know what teenagers like. I mentally facepalmed a few times. On top of this, a lot of the stuff just felt a bit annoying.
I liked Sera but she got on my nerves a lot and I wanted her to shut up sometimes.
The ending was just horrible? Didn’t flow at all and was cringy.
I’m pretty sure the only reason I don’t hate this is because it has space and astrology related topics, but even then astrology was portrayed incorrectly.

Another delightful rom-com!
A splash of mistaken identity, a slew of biting and insightful text messages, a couple not-to-be-missed career opportunities, and one lactose-intolerant cat all add up to a truly star-crossed romance between a nerdy, science-is-the-only-truth astrophysicist and a zodiac-enhanced internet entrepreneur who start out as true opposites before moving swiftly into sworn enemies status, which, naturally, leads to a love so inevitable that it's sure to take everyone down with it.
Serafina is not expecting to have such a strong attraction to a man who openly despises what she does for a living. Nor is Ben quite sure what to do with his growing feelings for a woman who seems so far out of his league she might as well be on another planet. Really, these two start from such disparate places - both emotionally and occupationally - that it seems impossible for a true romance to take root. Never underestimate the skill of this writing team, however, as they do chart a wonderfully romantic, albeit slightly nerdy, path to true love. It's a path that goes through quite a few quagmires along the way, making the eventual HEA all the more rewarding.
I loved the little inside joke references to people and places from the earlier books, and the humor is unparalleled. I really appreciated how a story of two highly-intelligent people isn't dumbed down for the readers; I guarantee you'll learn something new about both astrology and astronomy as you take this romantic journey with Serafina and Ben. The cast of secondary characters was superb - Charley is especially memorable, and it was terrific to get caught up with Zay, Sera's brother, who we met in the last book.
There's a lot of fun to be had in this book, with a truly sweet romance at its core. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves contemporary rom-coms. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Whitney Dineen and Melanie Summers team up for another awesome novel, Text Wars: May the Text be With You. Serafina Lopez, which we met in The Text God, found her niche in "Live for Your Star Sign" app. As an Astrologist, she found many more topics to branch off with like how to eat, dress, work, and decorate, all from your star sign. She is just about to launch her "Date for Your Star Sign" when she gets invited to Wake Up America! Thrilled she gets to push her apps she readily agrees. The only hitch is she gets to appear with an astrophysicist, Ben Williams. Though each profession study stars, they generally clash. Astrologists study stars to predict character traits and the future. Astrophysicists research planets, stars, galaxies, and other objects in the universe. Sparks fly, which viewers love, but will they take it too far?
I found Text Wars hilarious as Whitney Dineen and Melanie Summers nail the whole text instead of the talk scenario. The first couple of chapters lured me in completely and I knew I wouldn't be putting this book down. The authors skillfully move the story from one humorous conflict to the next, endearing Serafina and Ben to the reader. Another good story from these 2. Loved the chemistry between our 2 MC they were like chalk and cheese and the banter between them was great. There was some definate laugh out loud moments but for me there were a few eye rolling moments too. I didn't like this one as much as the last one but I still enjoyed it.

Seraphina and Ben are a hilariously mismatched couple, perfect for this series.
He's a straight-laced astrophysicist and she's in the feel-good business of astrology. When they are forced to work together on a tv segment their disagreements mount and the sparks fly.
As you would expect from Whitney Dineen and Melanie Summers, this Rom-Com is full of snappy dialogue and hilarious antics. If you love books with lots of laughter and quirky, endearing characters-this one is for you! I couldn't put it down and finished this one in one sitting. What happens when you put a NASA doctor of science and an astrological business woman on morning TV? Well this book happens and its hilarious.
Seraphina believes you can know and understand someone purely based on their star sign, whereas Ben believes that science is the answer to all questions. So when they both find themselves on morning America for space week it's the begin of a battle of the theories. Ofcourse no romantic comedy is complete without the obvious love story.
If you are look for a fast paced fun easy read this book is for you. Let me just say from Banana Camp to lactose intolerant grandparents this book a really has it all. Honestly this book would work really well as a movie as well as its descriptions are so visual that it's hard not to fully get a clear picture of the scenes that unfold.
Both our protagonist are completely different but also so similar in so many ways using their beliefs as a shield to protect themselves from getting hurt and have such rigid way of looking at the world. Ben finds himself pleasant surprised that Serafina is actually very intelligent and yet still believes in astrology. Their on air banter and chemistry leads to a recurring gig.
I must say some of the funniest parts of this book are the text messages. They had me bent over double laughing so hard. I love the nicknames as well for each person whilst texting.
The book is written in first person switching between Ben and Serafina. I always love a good inner monologue these I must say are some of the funniest. Serafina is my favourite out of the two a straight talker. Ben's inner thoughts also are quite funny. I love it when we know they are both thinking the same thing however say out loud something completely different.
The prose is done so well. I honestly was so invested on how it would all turn out o couldn't put the book down. We all know how romantic comedies end but it is always great to see how they get there. Plus the writers got me invested in the secondary characters. I really hope we get a follow on.
Would I recommend this book? Yes I would!! It's light hearted, easy to read and just so funny. The descriptive writing is done so well and you really route for both characters. Did I love the ending? Not particularly however I don't mind that as it is well crafted
If you like Tracey bloom, Talia Hilbert or Abbi Waxman you will love this book.
I know this review reads like a 5 star book, however I just didn't love the ending. But it's an easy 3 stars. Totally recommend. The authors have written other books in the "text" series and I am definitely adding them to my list.

It sounded like it was so good when i read the blurb, but after 30% i was so bored and i tried to get through it. But the male main character was meh, and the female main character was sort of alright but didn`t feel too connected to her.

Classic trope of opposites attracting, Seraphina is an astrological expert and Ben is an astrophysicist that's where their similarities stop. They were asked on a talk show together. Add in some mistaken identity, banter, reason vs physic abilities, flirting we have a hit.
I loved Ben a lot, he was shy quirky nerdy and adorkable. He matched well with the bubbly go getter Sera. It has all the usual clichés in rom coms but its perfect, the connection with the other books are very subtle like the bakery from the first book, short brother from the second book and irish pub etc.
I don't really any text wars in this books though their arguments are open and broadcasted nationwide. The last grand gesture part with all the members that he had wronged with his confession was 👌👌👌👌. I loved the book can't wait for the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved seeing the juxtaposition between a “pure” science and a more social science. And, possibly more importantly, where those two disciplines intersected and meshed, making this book both ‘opposites attract’ and ‘enemies to lovers’. Maybe it’s because I self-identify as an introverted nerd-girl, but I connected deeply with Ben. So, I felt really protective of him. That meant that instead of seeing Seraphina as sassy and witty, she just felt kind of mean a lot of times. Though, there were always lots of sparks flying between this pair, and their dialogue is snarky and sarcastic. I love where this story gets them in the end, I just had a bunch of my own baggage to sort out getting there. Even though I’ve only just finished reading this book, I already can’t wait to get my hands on the next in the series.

Hilarious meet-cute, mistaken identity, wardrobe malfunction(?) & pure hate.
When given a chance to appear & promote their individual works on Good Morning America, business woman Seraphina sees this as a perfect opportunity to endorse her lifestyle app & Ben, much to his disappointment, coerced by his boss, is there on the show to promote NASA & discuss about their project 'Earth II' to the American audiences.
After the first episode of GMA, they simply hate each other, but the audience loved their witty & fierce banter so much that the show makers have asked them to come back on the show again. Together. Much to their dismay.
While neither of them consider the others work as 'more important', they stick to texting for planning their pitches for the upcoming episodes.
Seraphina & Ben are such polar opposites that no matter how much they tend to dislike each other, sparks fly between them. While spending time together through texting or traveling for work purposes, they gradually start to develop feelings for each other.
And ofcouse no book of the author-duo would be complete without hilarious, swoony & humorous scenes. Especially the one involving Seraphina's Flirty grandma & lactose intolerant grandpa or their public on- air ugly breakup.
A tale of Star-Crossed lovers, who realise they have so much in common than they thought was possible.

Ben is an Astrophysicist who works in NASA, and Sera is an Astrologer who successfully runs an app called 'Live for your Star Sign'. Drastically different from each other, they are supposed to do an American show together.
It's sweet and funny and romantic, in a very interesting way. I liked Ben and Sera; their differences and the chemistry. The texts they share are interesting and the dialogues are witty.
However, I thought it turned too melodramatic in the last two-three chapters. Nothing is personal, everything is public.
Overall, an interesting, sweet and funny read.

Cute, funny, and even a bit educational. It almost made me want to read more about the Stars and Space exploration... Almost.
Most of their verbal communication is over the top and though I was not feeling the need to totally humiliate Ben at the end, it was still quite enjoyable.
Warning: for all clean readers... While this is technically a clean read it repeatedly uses suggestive words to refer to body parts and sex. There is closed door intimacy and a casual attitude toward premarital sex.
Cute, funny, and even a bit educational. It almost made me want to read more about the Stars and Space exploration... Almost.

An absolutely hilarious story of miscommunications, opposites attracting, and manipulation by bosses and TV ratings. The author has done it again…She peoples her books with a variety if endearing, quirky characters and weaves them into a story where they shine both individually and together with both warmth and humor.

This is a cute and fun romantic comedy. I really enjoyed this opposites attract romance. There was a great mixture of romance and humor, with some laugh out loud moments. The characters were fun and engaging even though Sera was a little over the top at times. This is a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next one.

Serafina and Ben have an outrageously funny story to be told! Right from the start I was laughing my head off with the mistaken identity model on the morning talk show and each quirky antic in between had me loving these two characters and wishing for a HEA for them! This rom-com is so over the top with the characters and situations, that it almost made me wake my husband up I was laughing so hard while reading it! I can’t wait for the next story!

This is book three in the An Accidently in Love Story series and features free spirited astrology fanatic and app developer Serafina Lopez and straight laced and serious astrophysicist Ben Williams, who are both invited to a ‘Shoot for the Stars’ segment on a popular morning show, Wake Up America. Serafina has developed a range of lifestyle apps, all to do with Live for Your Star Sign, such as dress, eat, work, decorate for your star sign, and her latest one is date for your star sign, which she is just getting off the ground and is in a testing phase. She has a genius employee in her next door neighbour Charley, who was accepted to Yale at fifteen and has to show she can be sensible and keep her job with Serafina, before her parents will allow her to leave for college at sixteen. An appearance on this show will launch her app to a much bigger audience. Ben is a team leader in his dream job at NASA’s Goddard Institute, where his team are working on searching for habitable exo-planets. He is a typical geek, with some boxed toy figures, as they are more valuable if never opened! He has always been interested in space and while not up to trying to be an astronaut, this is the next best thing. He would love to get the chance to be based in Florida, the main launch pad of all NASA projects, but lost out to his main rival!
Ben is reluctant to be NASA’s spokesman, as he has a fear of public speaking, but out of his team he is probably the one that is the least weird and nerdy. He has a passion for what he does, but will need to dumb down some of his talk, so as not to put the audience to sleep. Serafina is doing a segment on dressing for your sign and is told to bring a set of models to show off how each star sign should dress, as well as a male model to show what Ben should wear. Unfortunately, on the day there is a bit of a mix up, when Ben is dragged off to dress up in the outfit the male model should have been placed in, which is not quite his size, especially in the trouser department! When the hosts of the show comment on his actual absence, he comes off the model walkway, and has to do the show in his rather bright outfit, supposedly suitable for his star sign. This gets him some rather raucous comments from the females in the audience, both in the studio and at home, and a comment from Serafina, soon becomes a nickname, Dr Banana Pants! Ben doesn’t get much of a chance to talk about his work and even be listened to, due to the ridiculous outfit he is in.
The ratings for their segment are fantastic and the show asks them to come back and do a show together, but they will need to work together to come up with some ideas for the first few shows, so the producers can decide which to use. After the embarrassment of the first show, Ben wants nothing to do with Serafina and resorts to using text messages to try to arrange matters. However, Serafina likes to be in control and forces him to meet with her for dinner, to go over the first three ideas. He leaves before she finishes eating, as soon as they have come up with three ideas and so she passes her ideas for the first show to the producer and this forces Ben to have to talk about how to decorate the inside of a space capsule! She even comes up with the idea of decorating his office to his star sign, which he doesn’t exactly like the idea of. He empties out all his geeky stuff and toy figures, but actually comes to like the design she comes up with and finds it does make him more productive, as she promised.
With their fantastic and somewhat explosive chemistry on the show, the ratings keep going up and up. Ben believes that astrology is all made up and used to scam people like is mother out of money, and uses this preconceived attitude to turn his attention away from Serafina’s other attributes and how attractive he finds her. Nearly all their conversations are done by text, with their usernames for each other, constantly changing as time goes by. An unexpected trip to NASA, Florida is arranged by the TV show, but add in some relatives of Serafina and a hotel mix up, and tempers start to flare. Both had signed up to her new dating app, Ben to prove her wrong and Serafina to test out her programme. Serafina seems to get matched to all the wrong sort of men, whilst Ben makes a friend, with a request for a fake relationship at an event she has to attend.
Some far too snarky comments between the two whilst in Florida, are being filmed as part of the show, and Ben’s get a little out of hand, but they also share a kiss that is captured on film! Ben will find the repercussions of his comments hurtful to many, and has a lot of apologies to make. Their chemistry together is off the charts and they are learning that they have more in common than they knew. Serafina is not quite the airhead he thought she was, having gone to a very good college and gaining a good degree as well as being a hard worker. Whether their chemistry will help to bring them together or if they will shoot each other down from the stars, is yet to be seen. Will Serafina figure out what is wrong with her app or finally realise that her perfect match is right in front of her? But that will only become a reality, if both allow their true feelings for each other to come to the fore. They started as absolute foes, one believing the other was a fraud and that astrology was just a money maker, but as they say, opposites attract! Another fun episode, using the modern day use of texts instead of actual face to face conversations, to play out a romantic storyline. Ugh I really didn't like this book. It was okay at first but I found the main character a bit frustrating the romance was so sudden and the fallout was absolutely bonkers and i felt they put all the self growth needed onto the guy and the girl didn't grow at all. The ending was horrendous, I don't even know why I finished it

I don’t know why I keep reading these books. They just keep getting worse. I won’t spoil anything, but the protagonists are so stupid in this book. They behave in completely unintelligible ways and not in a, people do dumb things for love kind of way. I thought the protagonist in the last book was stupid. This one is worse.

I chose it because of the title and the cover (a terrible decision). I'm about 40% through and I've decided not to finish it. There are so many cringey moments. I hate the FMC so much. This book is for people who can turn off their brains while reading. I highly recommend this to hippies and cr@ckheads.

I honestly could not get through this book. I pushed to make it to the halfway point. This book seemed completely adolescent, the storyline especially. I was not able to finish this book, but I am grateful that I received an ARC to read.

This was a good book and I probably would have enjoyed it more if not for the heroine. Sera came across to me as mean and some of the things she did was callous. However, this was an okay read.
