I am glad that there are so many people who like this book. It annoyed me up one side and down the other. Reading it felt like hanging out with characters in the author's head, not experiencing characters living in their own world. There's no context for who people are, so it was more work than joy for me to figure out who was who and what was even going on. The characters all seem have the same voice and temperament- just different variations of how the author thinks and speaks, I would imagine. Descriptions feel incomplete and scenes jump from one space or chronology to another with little to no transition.

An intriguing novel which explores the epic worlds of the universe. One who loves is attempting to rescue her lover. The tale is one of intrigue and daring attempts at espionage and and trust - where one is wanting to do anything to rescue her loved one, but finds she is tangled in a desperate web of deceit and intrigue. I received this novel through Book Funnel. This is my true and honest review.

◦ This is a hard one to rate. There is definitely a good story here but it is a chore to get to it and figure out what is going on, who is who and why (not sure that last one is ever really satisfied). I am reviewing a free copy and this is an honest review and I probably will chance next in series and hope the writing comes around because I do think the premise is there for a really good story.

To be honest I found this very hard to get into at the beginning. It seemed very disjointed going from one spot to another rather quickly. Many times had to re-read passages to try and make sense of it all.
The storyline is good, the characters have potential but feel the writing needs a bit of work.

Don't make yourselves a cup of coffee when you start reading this book. It will get cold. Because you will not be able to put the book down. Great story. Action from the start. Suspense with interesting surprises. Good writing. Interesting characters. What more do you want?

All is fair with love and dragons? Assassins, adventure, romance and intrigue kept me hooked. The characters and world building were great and I can't wait for more!

Daughter of the Ageian is a fantasy epic journey through the pit that holds a secret that can make or break the world. There are dragons and other mythical creatures, great characters and magic blended smoothly into a complex and entertaining storyline. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
