I am a total Bob Goff fan! I love the way that he thinks and the way that he chases Jesus and loves people. I have not read all of his books, but I have loved the ones that I have and I will continue to read his books, because he truly inspires me to be a better follower of Jesus, and to do better at chasing those around me in relationship, and in the name of Jesus. I also highly recommend his audiobooks because he reads them himself, and his voice truly conveys the sentiment of the words. Plus, his laugh is one of the best things ever.

Typical Bob

Videos are what you expect from Bob Goff - a gregarious character with a lot of laughter. He loves without limits and makes you feel right at home. I would have liked to dive into scripture a bit more, but overall the message was good. The best highlight in the book for me was that we overcomplicate our purpose. Jesus stated plainly that his purpose and ours is to take care of sick people, hungry people, poor people, people in jail, widows, and orphans. So what are we waiting for? God gave us an all-access pass to go serve others and fulfill our purpose. I would have liked him to also emphasize that our purpose is to also make Jesus known - tell others about him and what he has done for us.

Did this study and video series with my church. Even though I think Bob Goff is very genuine, I didn't enjoy this all that much.
