There’s no way I would return to that hell… Not after it took every ounce of courage in me to escape my pack.
And yet, when I saw those three sexy wolf shifters at my door, my knees buckled. I knew I was in trouble. They wanted me back, and they needed me to defeat the demons.
And what did I want? I wanted Everett, the trained warrior and the future Alpha of the pack. I dreamed about Quinn, the pack academic with shoulders so broad that it made him look like a god. And Weston, the weapon maker who had me drooling over his chiseled abs.
All three men treated me like I belonged to them. But passion wasn’t enough when secrets were involved. Secrets so big that they would abandon me if they found out who I really was.
The story was fresh so interesting I skipped gladly over editing issues, the wrong characters named in scenes and awkward plot shifts until it was too much to take. DNF at 90% The omega story arch was very interesting and refreshing. Demons were a wet napkin of a villain - it read like most of them were just emotionless husks and a few had personality. The spice was so good – having a polyamorous group with mf and mm scenes was the saving grace for me getting to 90%.
It was ok. I'll leave it at that. It felt bland and there was no tension and I just couldn't really connect with the story. The characters felt like they really didn't fit.
Switching back and forth in the span of two sentences from third person to first person. Happened several times throughout the book. The plot was meh, the romance was also pretty meh. I would not recommend this or re-read it.
A fast-paced story that is told in multiple POVs as Everett, Quinn and Weston show up one evening in Lyra’s life. They put a lot of effort into convincing her to come back to the pack of wolf shifters she left 7 years ago.
Lyra doesn’t want a mate and pups, but she isn’t successful with keeping her hands off the three sexy wolf shifters who are each motivated to make her theirs. The sizzling and steamy action involves Lyra and one or more of the guys.
When Lyra’s secret is announced in an unexpected way and in an extremely dangerous situation, Lyra has to share the full story with her guys even though she knows it is something that will end their relationship.
Each of the three males are unique and well crafted with individual personalities that drive the story forward. The story brings significant challenges to the possibility of a HEA, and the diversity of how the guys handle their emotional reactions are interesting and kept my attention until the end.
The ending was a bit abrupt and while the direction of what will happen next in their life is implied, I would have been happy to get an epilogue or more story.
Tasked with convincing Lyra to return to the pack she left 7 years ago, Everett (warrior and future Alpha of the pack), Quinn (broad-shouldered pack academic), and Weston (weapon maker with chiseled abs) show up at Lyra’s home. They tell her that the demons that have always plagued the pack have come back and they need her help because they need healers and potion makers, and the Alpha told them she is one of the best. But she is an Omega, and the pressure for her to choose an Alpha mate is not something she is willing to go through again. Her mating would increase the Alpha’s power, but she refused to select a mate – because she still had another secret they didn’t know.
Despite the fact that Lyra has incredible chemistry with the men, they still had a difficult path to follow. She can’t resist them and the way they treat her as theirs. But Lyra is keeping a big secret which had initially caused her to leave the pack for her own protection. When part of her secret is blurted out and raises questions, she will have to tell Everett all the details. Would her guys still want her when they learn the whole story?
Lyra, a 26 year old nurse, is still reeling from leaving her pack 7 years ago. After making a life for herself in Texas, an unexpected surprise arrives at her door. Quinn, Everett and Weston were sent to bring the Omega home no matter what. What none of them expected, was to fall for each other.
I really enjoyed the premise and how the story progressed. The magical/paranormal parts were explained in detail and gave a very thorough understanding of the wolf world. The personalities of the different characters as the book swapped between POVs was interesting and highlighted the strengths of each of them.
The ending of the book was a little sudden, I would have liked a few more chapters on how Lyra fitted back into the pack, what was happening with her uncle, the Alpha etc. I do think this is meant to be a cliffhanger to get onto the next book, to reel you in to want to know more, but it felt a little off and as if I was missing a bit of the story.
The smut in this book is written very well. The scenes are worth reading and really highlight the strengths of the author.
I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Lyra's life has never been simple but it's about to get a whole lot more complicated! She thought she could turn her back on the pack and never look back, when three sexy shifters try to persuade her otherwise she finds it a bit too hard to keep them at an arm's length.
Everett, Quinn and Weston are tasked with bringing Lyra back, but none of them are expecting the undeniable chemistry between them. This book shifts into high gear very quickly so be ready to strap in.
I really enjoyed being able to read from different points of view. I felt it gave me a clearer picture of who everyone was and what they wanted from their situation. It also gave each of them the opportunity to shine.
I can't wait to see what's next for this pack.
I received an advanced copy of this story through BookSprout and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
Omega Vanished starts out with Lyra in Texas. She ran away from the pack because she didn't want to be forced to take a mate and have pups. Her pack is in danger so the alpha sent Quinn, Everett and Weston to convince her to come back.
Once Lyra finds out that her pack is in danger she immediately agrees, but she still doesn't want a mate or pups, but she is attracted to the three of them. Lyra has a big secret that could change everything. When their enemy comes after her will the three of them be able to save her?
Omega Vanished consistently moved in story line and the characters grew. I liked the story. I think the only thing I would change about it is Everett and Weston's reaction to Lyra's secret. I think that Everett especially could have reacted better.

Holy sh!t! This book was so good! Lyra left her pack 7 years ago to move to Texas after finding out about her heritage, what she doesn't expect is for her past to come back to bring her home to Oregon. Everett, Quinn and Weston were sent to retrieve Lyra after she left and they do not expect her to be difficult at first when they arrive. On their way back to Oregon Lyra finds herself having feelings for all three of her men and the sexy scenes are *whew*. The characters have the perfect amount of depth and I love seeing that they have faults and that they aren't all perfect. I can't wait to read the next book! The characters are written fabulous, the world that has been created is realistic, you will not want to put this down till you get to the end. Lyra has a secret, will that secret be so bad that her world could come to a screeching halt, you will be on the edge of your seat.
All three men treated me like I belonged to them. But passion wasn’t enough when secrets were involved. I wanted Everett, the trained warrior and the future Alpha of the pack. I dreamed about Quinn, the pack academic with shoulders so broad that it made him look like a god. And Weston, the weapon maker who had me drooling over his chiseled abs.
Watch out for this cliffhanger the story is continued in Omega Exiled.

Lyra is a nurse after leaving her pack years ago. However, now Quinn, Everett and Weston have shown up to take her back because the pack needs healers. She worries by returning that she will be force into choosing a mate and how will they react if they learn her secret. Its not long before things heat up between her and the men. Can they be together once they know what she is hiding from them?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This was not my normal kind-of-reading. Meaning, I normally tend towards the MFM, but haven't really "dabbled" in the MMFM scene. It didn't "move" me, per se. Other than that, the rest of the book was really good. It had suspense, drama, action, and of course some steamy scenes. That's why I gave it the 4 stars because it had more depth/story than just the other scenes I referred to earlier. ;-) On to the next! #HappyReading ♥

The storyline in Ava Gray's kickoff novel in her Maple Lake Shifters series was entertaining. I liked the characters. Everett, Quinn, and Weston were the hot shifters in this novel and their mate, Lyra, although a shifter, had a secret that she was sure would bring rejection from her mates as well as the pack. Although she was a strong, independent woman, Lyra only fooled herself into thinking she didn't want to be part of the pack. Her mates changed her mind!
This was a captivating read. The storyline was well developed. Lyra has a big secret and left her pack to protect herself. She resigned herself to being alone until three wolf shifters showed up at her house and threw her right back in pack life. Would they still want her when they learn about her secret?

Great story! Loved all the characters and their interactions with each other. Lyra's self-sacrifice, Everett's devotion to the pack, Quinn's smarts, and Weston's practicality all compliment each other and make for a wonderful plot line. Will they overcome Lyra's secrets and become true mates?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
a good 3 star storyline but so so many formatting issues!
Half werewolf, half demon is now a combination you see everyday. So it made me read on but god damn, there were so many formatting issues! Spelling mistakes, missing words, wrong names used and even a kiss which is talked about that either never happened or was deleted from the story with the rest not edited and updated!
I really enjoyed this book. The storyline kept me gripped so much so I stayed up for 3 hours as I was reading…oops! The only reason I didn’t give it the full five stars was sometimes parts of the story seems to be missing and I had to fill in the gaps. But well worth the read!
My only complaint is it need a good editor. Some comments were off like saying all four of us want her but there was only three. Then in Quinn’s section some comments referenced to himself weird, and then some plain grammatical errors. Other then that the story itself was pretty good.
Arc review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This was a awesome story of Lyra has a secret after leaving her pack that she lold noone till her old Alpha sends quinn, westen, and Everett to get her to help with the demons.
I love paranormal books and this is a great one! 3 hot wolf shifters, all wanting the same gal ... hot, hot, hot! I couldn't out it down. Trust me, you will like this book! Enjoy!!!
I truly enjoyed reading this story, I'm not usually into wolves, but this story was so worth it 😃. Lots of action, crazy emotions, nasty bad things and Awesome characters 😊. Thanks Ava, I'm so looking forward to reading more of this series 🤓.
Good story concept, but unfortunately the characters didn’t seem as developed as I wish they had been. The writing felt abrupt at times and sometimes I wish there was more world development. I opted not to read the second book instantly, maybe at some point.
