Cute rhyme and nice illustrations to cover the interesting names different baby animals have. Sometimes asks questions for readers to guess what the baby animal name is, other times it just tells you. A list at the back of the book with other animal baby names not covered in the book.

This little informational book is cleverly written in poem form. The introduction of baby names of different animals in such a sing-song way actually really helped them stick. I learned a lot from this book! :)

WOW! Such an easy read and lots of information packed in! Kids will love learning from this book. I learned that a baby swan is a cygnet and a baby seal is a beach weaner. Very sweet--rhyming text, adorable pictures to match.

Simple book with names of some common and some obscure baby animal names. Who knew baby spiny anteaters were called puggles? But then, who really cares? I can see how fact/trivia loving kids would go for this.
